Chapter 167 - 《DXD: Infinite Loot System》Chapter 167: The Humiliation of Choice

Katerea blinked hard, convinced now she hadn't misheard. Still, suspicion clouded her face.

"Aren't you with Sirzechs and the others? Why would you help me?"

Her eyes were sharp, voice wary—no one in this world handed out favors for free.

Tenra's gaze was unwavering. "Katerea, you have your ambition. I have mine."

"Yours is to reclaim the Leviathan throne, to resurrect your ancestors' glory. Mine—"

He paused, letting the silence stretch.

"—is the entire world."

The words hung in the air, echoing like a prophecy. Katerea stared at him, as if looking at something inhuman.

Conquer the world? Not even the God of the Bible had managed that.

Yet Tenra's cold, steady eyes sent a chill through her. He wasn't joking.

"Even with the power of the Two Heavenly Dragons, even if you can steal Sacred Gears… it's impossible. It's… it's…"

She shook her head, voice faltering. Tenra was strong, but this was madness.

"That's what you believe. But your limits aren't mine."

"My Sacred Gear doesn't just steal—it grants me perfect mastery. I can push any stolen gear straight to Balance Breaker. Every time I take a new Sacred Gear, I gain a new power, and my strength grows. No ceiling, no end."

"Katerea, do you know how I went from a bloodline failure—no magic, no talent—to standing here?"

His lips curled into a smile, and Katerea felt her heart pound.

His Sacred Gear was far more terrifying than anyone realized.

It made sense now—why his fight with Vali had been so close, but after stealing the White Dragon Emperor, his power had skyrocketed, overwhelming her in a single move.

All the factions had watched Tenra, but few had truly feared him. A gear that could steal others was dangerous, sure—but juggling too many powers should scatter his focus, limit his growth. Worse, conflicting abilities might even backfire.

But no one knew his true potential.

With just two Longinus and a handful of gears, he'd reached this level. Katerea couldn't imagine what he'd become if he kept going.

Monster. He was a real monster.

And for the first time, she wondered—could he actually take the world?

Her mouth was dry. "How… how would you help me?"

Tenra shrugged. "Once I rule this world, giving you back the Leviathan throne is a trivial favor."

He looked at her as if she were slow. Katerea's heart kicked in her chest, cheeks flushing.

If he really did conquer the world, her dream would be his gift.

But—

"What's the price?"

She forced herself to calm down. No way he'd help her for nothing.

His smile turned devilish. "You're finally thinking straight. The price is your body, your soul, your everything."

Even braced for it, Katerea flinched. Everything? Her body, her soul—her entire being?

Greedy bastard.

Anger flickered, but reality crashed down. She knew too much now—he'd never let her go. Even death was denied her. Refuse, and she'd spend forever locked in this room, nothing but his plaything.

The thought made her shudder.

But if she accepted, at least she'd have some freedom. A chance at her lifelong dream.

The choice was never really hers.

"If you help me reclaim the Leviathan throne, I'll submit. My body, my soul, my everything is yours."

Eyes closed, Katerea let the words drop into silence. Her only choice.

Humiliation burned, but she had no other path.

As she finished, the golden restraints snapped and fell away.

"Congratulations, Katerea. You made the right choice."

"Now, show me your resolve."

Tenra stroked Yubelluna's cheek, signaling her to step aside.

Katerea tried to stand, but her legs buckled—too long bound. Raynare stepped forward, heel pressing into her back.

"Crawl."

Raynare's voice was cold, merciless.

Humiliation and rage warred inside Katerea, but she forced herself forward, hands and knees scraping across the floor.

Just like a dog.

"…Master."

The word tasted like poison. She told herself it was for Leviathan's throne, but she knew—from the moment she spoke, she'd lost everything.

Tenra cupped her chin, savoring her defeat.

"Such a beautiful face…"

He saw the pain, the fury, the humiliation—and it only heightened his pleasure. This was conquest.

Winner and loser, eye to eye. In the end, the victor pressed the loser's head down.

Long after—

Katerea lay to one side, coughing and retching, while Tenra—freshly cleaned by Yubelluna—rose, arms around Tosca and Mihae.

"Raynare, she's yours."

Tenra's voice was lazy, satisfied. Katerea's eyes widened in alarm.

"I've already submitted!"

Why was he still doing this?

Tenra paused, looking down at her.

"Foolish woman. Submission alone isn't nearly enough."

"Accept your fate. I look forward to your transformation—and your rebirth. Hahahaha…"

Tenra's laughter echoed as he left with Yubelluna and the others. Raynare, Mittelt, and Kalawarner closed in, whips in hand, smiles cold and merciless.

"Let's begin your training…"

Faced with three fallen angels, Katerea felt nothing but icy despair.
