So, there's Astro, just chilling on his balcony in his South African neighborhood, kicking it with his girlfriend. Tenji, Hunter, and Phantom are nearby, lounging and puffing on a hubbly, joking like usual.
"You're way too chill for this hood, mfana," Astro said, flicking some ash.
She just smirked, eyes glowing like she knew something he didn't. "Bruh… you got no idea."
Then, outta nowhere, a freakin' streak of light ripped across the sky. People screamed, windows slammed shut, but not the squad. Nah, they were too curious.
"Yo… that ain't normal," Hunter squinted.
"Normal is boring, dawg," Tenji said, already jogging toward the crash site.
Meteorite smashed into a vacant lot. Smoke, dust, and in the middle? Two weird glowing stones. Astro, being Astro, touched both. Energy shot through him shadows twisting around his arms, light dancing with darkness.
Tenji and Phantom touched one each light flaring from them. Hunter got swallowed by shadows. And Astro? He held both. "Hell mode, yeah?" he said, eyes sparkling. "Let's get it."
Gravity went weird, debris floated, time bent. They weren't just messing with meteor magic they were getting sized up against the 12-level cultivator system. Most people used magic just to make themselves stronger, but these four? They were already outliers. Astro's dual powers alone made him a total freak in the best way.
Shadows darted, light exploded, and Astro's clones moved independently, striking imaginary enemies. Tenji's punches broke concrete, Hunter's shadows blocked attacks before they even landed, and Phantom attacked from nowhere.
When it was over, they were changed. Stronger. Sharper. Slightly OP compared to normal cultivators. And yeah… somewhere above them, another meteor streaked across the sky. Universe calling, basically.
