Butcher's expression kept changing, looking as bad as if he had eaten a fly.

Kevin looked at him, his smile undiminished, forming a stark contrast to Butcher's expression.

He knew why Butcher's face was so ugly, because before this, Kevin and Butcher had never met.

The only time they truly met was that one time at Mercy Hospital.

Before that, it was probably when Frenchie went to A-Train's lounge to steal something and Kevin caught him red-handed.

But that time, it wasn't Butcher who met Kevin, it was Frenchie.

Logically, with only one or two meetings, Kevin shouldn't know too many things.

At most, he would only think that The Boys were Hughie's companions brought to deal with A-Train.

But now, Kevin not only accurately said Butcher's name but also knew about the feud between Butcher and Homelander.

This meant that Kevin was very familiar with these matters, even to the point of beginning to investigate them after only meeting them twice.

Perhaps in the minds of Butcher and others, Kevin had already become a cautious and cunning fellow.

It's even possible that in the eyes of Butcher and others, Kevin was a very terrifying person.

But who would have thought that Kevin's channels for obtaining this information were not in this Reality at all?

Kevin didn't explain; he pretended to smile profoundly, looking as if everything was under his control.

This demeanor indeed fooled Butcher.

Butcher now completely couldn't figure out what Kevin truly knew.

He stared intently at Kevin for a long time, his expression serious, and after a while, he unwillingly asked:

"What do you know?"

"I know much more than you imagine, for example... your wife Rebecca was violated by Homelander and then disappeared, and you joined the CIA and once cooperated with Lamplighter."

"Do you know where Becca is?"

As soon as his wife Rebecca was mentioned, Butcher immediately lost his usual calm.

He took two steps forward, asking excitedly, seemingly wanting to know the whereabouts of his wife Rebecca Butcher from Kevin.

But unfortunately, Kevin gave a negative answer:

"I don't know where she is, nor do I know if she's dead or alive, but I know how to deal with Homelander, so do you want to continue discussing your wife, or do you want to discuss Homelander with me?"

Kevin was not lying.

Kevin was still clear whether Rebecca Butcher and her son Ryan were alive.

He even knew that the two of them were living peacefully in an area protected by Vought.

But the problem was, Kevin didn't know where this area was.

He wasn't considered a high-ranking official yet, not even the leader of The Seven, so how could he know such information?

And even Homelander, the leader of The Seven, didn't know about Rebecca and Ryan, did he?

Although Homelander's situation was excusable...

Unable to get news of his wife from Kevin, Butcher was inevitably a little disappointed.

But it had been like this for so many years, so Butcher quickly returned to his usual composure and asked:

"How do you plan to deal with Homelander?"

"That's an interesting topic. Do you know Madelyn Stillwell?"

Kevin finally got down to business and mentioned a person.

Butcher was a little surprised and nodded, saying:

"Yes, the Vice President of the Hero Management Department at Vought."

"Good that you know. Your breakthrough lies with Madelyn. Her relationship with Homelander is extraordinary, exactly the 'extraordinary' you're imagining. And once something unexpected happens to her, I don't need to say what Homelander's reaction will be, do I?"

Kevin stopped there, not saying more.

In fact, Homelander wasn't Kevin's purpose for coming this time; Madelyn was.

Edgar said that currently, Vought had no open positions and needed vacancies for Kevin to enter Vought's management.

If that's the case, then Kevin would just create a vacancy.

Madelyn Stillwell, formerly the director of the Red River orphanage, later entered Vought's high-level sight, was promoted by Edgar, transferred to Vought headquarters, and gradually rose to the position of Senior Vice President of the Hero Management Department.

For a woman to climb to this position, Madelyn's experience was indeed inspiring.

She was a prime example of an underdog's successful comeback.

But unfortunately, her future would probably only go this far.

Kevin wanted to use Butcher to get rid of her.

Anyway, Madelyn was going to die in the original work, and Madelyn had indeed done a lot of bad things for Vought, so Kevin had no psychological burden using Butcher's hand to eliminate this competitor.

And speaking of which, the person who truly killed Madelyn in the original work was actually Homelander, and the reason Homelander killed Madelyn was because he found out Madelyn was lying to him.

But now, Homelander still didn't know the truth about Butcher's wife Rebecca, much less that he had a son, so he shouldn't actually kill Madelyn.

Butcher, wanting to deal with Homelander, might not necessarily take Madelyn's life.

Madelyn might not die.

But whether Madelyn died or not, as long as she was kidnapped by Butcher, it would be Kevin's opportunity afterward.

"Madelyn Stillwell..."

Butcher murmured the name.

Kevin gave him time to think, waited for a while, then took out a small USB drive and casually threw it to Butcher:

"Information about Madelyn and her relationship with Homelander, I've put it all here. As for what you want to do, that's your business."

Butcher took the USB drive, repeatedly checking it as if to confirm whether there was a listening or tracking device on it. After checking for a long time, he put it into his clothes pocket.

"What do you want?"

After putting away the USB drive, Butcher asked the question he cared about more.

Kevin telling them all this obviously couldn't just be to simply help them deal with Homelander.

Butcher believed that Kevin had his own purpose, and it was this purpose that prompted Kevin to meet them.

Butcher wanted to know this purpose.

"What I want, you'll know when the time comes."

But Kevin didn't answer, nor was he obligated to answer Butcher's question.

With a light laugh, Kevin, having finished the main topic, waved his hand, controlling the fishing boat to rise from underwater.

Once the fishing boat was floating on the sea surface again, Kevin said to the two of them:

"Anyway, it doesn't conflict with your goals. We'll see each other next time... Oh, and remember to return the boat then, Mr. Butcher, Mr. Campbell."

As his words fell, Kevin once again disappeared into the darkness, vanishing before Butcher and Hughie.

... ...

The meeting with Butcher did not affect Kevin's Reality life.

The documentary was proceeding as scheduled, and the movie had resumed filming.

Occasionally, Kevin would also go to Godolkin University to meet with Indira and others. Besides filming the documentary, he mainly went to The Woods to see the children who were being held there.

Vought wanted to use these children to find the weaknesses of Supes, but Kevin felt that doing so was a bit too wasteful.

The abilities of these children were very strong. If they could be carefully nurtured, even if they couldn't compare to the heroes in The Seven, they could at least be on par with ordinary heroes.

Like heroes such as Eagleshaw and Blindspot in the original work, these children could definitely easily defeat them.

With the intention of bringing these children under his wing, Kevin tried to get along with them, but with little success.

Kevin had beaten them before, leaving a significant psychological shadow in their hearts, which made it difficult for Kevin to approach them.

Additionally, with Indira and Cardosa present, Kevin couldn't be too obvious.

Although he was nominally in charge of The Woods, he wasn't responsible for the experimental aspects, only the security.

Or rather, he was just an insurance here; once a Supe lost control and the ultrasonic device that could affect Supes malfunctioned, Kevin would need to step in and handle it.

Therefore, the task of cultivating his own Supe force was long and arduous. Before that, Kevin still had to achieve a high position within the Group.

However, putting these issues aside, Kevin also had other gains during the period of filming the documentary at Godolkin University.

At least the number of skill points had been steadily increasing.

He gained one on the day he met Butcher, and in these past few days staying in The Woods, he gained a skill point almost every two days.

Kevin guessed that this might be due to his interaction with 'Sam'.

So now, The Woods had become another skill point generator for Kevin.

Since the day he met Butcher, Kevin's total skill points had become four.

Kevin used two of these four skill points to upgrade 'Underwater Sprint' to Level 3, unlocking the prerequisite for the 'The Deep Fighter' specialization.

He then put the remaining two points into 'Super Lungs', raising it to Level 2.

Level 1 Super Lungs was not very useful for Kevin.

But Level 2 Super Lungs granted Kevin extremely powerful stamina.

This stamina even complemented Supe Physique; no wonder these two skills were on the same path.

Kevin had a premonition that if his Super Lungs also reached LV5, his Supe Physique would probably also advance another level.

Even though Supe Physique could no longer be upgraded now.

That's right, after Supe Physique reached Level 5, it couldn't advance any further.

It wasn't that the level was maxed out, but that higher levels were locked.

The skill tree prompted Kevin that he needed to specialize to unlock higher-level skills, which meant Kevin would have to specialize one day in the future.

Because without specializing, he wouldn't be able to continue improving himself.

"Kevin, so you're here."

Kevin, dressed in casual clothes and wearing a baseball cap, standing in the corridor of Godolkin University, suddenly heard someone call him.

Turning his head, Kevin saw Indira's figure.

She was standing not far away, with a blonde girl around 16 or 17 years old by her side, greeting Kevin.

"Oh, Indira, are you... personally recruiting new students?"

Looking at Indira and the blonde girl next to her, Kevin didn't think much of it and joked with a smile.

It was currently the end of the semester at Godolkin University, and the next semester would be when the 20th class of new students enrolled.

The blonde girl next to Indira didn't look old; if nothing unexpected, she should be a freshman in the next semester.

"Something like that."

Indira answered Kevin's question, then suddenly said to Kevin:

"There's something I need to tell you. Let's go, we'll go to The Woods first."

" ? "

Indira suddenly bringing up The Woods made Kevin frown.

He subconsciously looked at the girl beside Indira, his gaze sweeping over her and finally landing on the gloves on the girl's hands.

Blonde hair, blue eyes, a look of unease, wearing gloves.

Coupled with Indira mentioning The Woods in front of her without hesitation, Kevin guessed the identity of this beautiful blonde girl.

She should be a member of the original Gen V main cast, a Supe whose ability was similar to Professor X, able to control others through physical contact.

Cate Dunlap.

He didn't expect that Indira had already met this weakened version of 'Professor X' at this time?

He just didn't know if the girl had taken the medicine that could suppress her ability, and if she could still hear other people's thoughts out of thin air.

If she could... he probably needed to stay away from her.

Realizing the identity of the girl beside Indira, Kevin's eyes flickered, and he fell into deep thought.
