Chapter 7 - Memories

Who's that, Master?" Prince asked curiously.

In the princess's room, Miyuna was telling the same story to the princess.

The princess also asked, "Who's that, Big Sis?"

Aaki with Prince, and Miyuna with Princess — both began to tell them about Aaki's past.

Aaki looked up at the sky and said softly, "My little sister…"

Prince's eyes widened as he heard Aaki say he had a sister.

"His little sister," Miyuna told the princess.

The princess was just as shocked to learn that Aaki had a sister.

"Where is she, Master?" Prince asked hesitantly.

Aaki's fist tightened. "I… I don't know where she is. I don't even know if… if she's alright."

Prince looked both shocked and confused at the same time.

In the princess's room, she too was surprised when Miyuna said the same thing.

"What do you mean, Big Sis?" the princess asked.

Miyuna replied, "We don't know where she is. We tried to search for her, but it's no use."

"What do you mean it's no use, Master?" Prince asked.

Aaki sighed. "We had a fight… She doesn't even want to see my face."

Prince fell silent. "She… why, Master?"

Scene shifts to the princess's room.

"Why did that happen, Big Sis?" the princess asked softly.

Miyuna lowered her voice. "She thinks Aaki didn't save their…"

"What are you saying, Master?" Prince's eyes widened.

"She thinks I let Mother die…" Aaki said, his fists tightening hard.

Prince's face turned pale, sadness filling his eyes after hearing the truth.

Meanwhile, in the princess's room, tears filled her eyes. "Mr. Aaki lost his mother?"

Miyuna said with a sad voice, "Yes. She died while protecting Aaki and his sister."

Tears streamed down the princess's cheeks.

"She died protecting you and your sister?" Prince asked, his own eyes filled with sorrow.

"Yes… I couldn't save her," Aaki said, his voice trembling as he stared down at his feet.

"I couldn't be a good son… nor a good big brother."

Disappointment clouded his eyes.

"That's not true!"

The door suddenly burst open behind Aaki and Prince.

It was the Princess — and behind her, Miyuna.

The princess ran up to Aaki and said with tears in her eyes,

"That's not true! Big Sis told me everything. You're a good son and a good big brother!

What happened wasn't your fault. You did your best — both as a son and as a big brother!"

Aaki looked at Miyuna with an expression only she could understand.

He placed his hand gently on the princess's head.

"There's nothing to cry about," he said softly. "You look better when you smile."

Prince wiped his own tears and smiled. "Master… I've never seen anyone like you."

Aaki looked at him and asked, "What makes you say that?"

Prince smiled. "Just wanted to say it."

Miyuna finally spoke. "Now that you two know everything, it's time for you to know what Aaki plans to do next."

Both Prince and Princess fell silent for a moment, then looked at Aaki.

Aaki said seriously, "I'm going to avenge my mother's death… and I'm going to bring back my little sister."

Both Prince and Princess looked at him with determination and said, "And we'll do everything we can for you!"

Miyuna smiled and gently patted both their heads. "You two have really grown up."

Aaki glanced at Miyuna again, and she smiled back.

Seeing her warm smile, Aaki's heart calmed.

Why does her smile always make me feel so relieved? he thought.

She's so warm… so kind.

Prince broke the silence. "Master, train me!"

Aaki looked at him and replied calmly, "I will."

Princess quickly added, "I don't want to be left behind! Train me too!"

Aaki smiled softly. "I'll train you too."

Miyuna stood and said, "Now you two go and prepare. Your training starts tomorrow."

"Okay, Big Sis!" they both said together before running off.

As they left the room, Miyuna sat down on the bed and asked quietly,

"You were searching for her?"

"Yeah," Aaki said. "I did… but there's no clue where she is."

"I—" Before Aaki could continue, Miyuna interrupted gently.

"Everything will be fine. Don't worry."

She knew what he was about to say — and didn't want him to.

Aaki looked at her, relief softening his eyes.

"You're right," he said. "Everything will be fine."

He sat beside Miyuna, resting his head on her shoulder, and slowly drifted into sleep.

Miyuna smiled quietly and stroked his hair.

"I know you haven't slept for days," she whispered. "I'm here now… no need to worry."

She gently laid him down on the bed and quietly left the room.

The sky filled with white mist — and in the middle of it, a figure stood silently.

The Heaven's Lord approached from behind.

"I'm glad I found you here…" he said.
