Kairos began as he walked closer to him. "Your brother only asked me to reincarnate you after your brother killed you. I had to commit the greatest sin and fall out of heaven. I was judged by gods who existed in human delusions. I had to do it because I owed your brother, and he was my favorite person who ever lived before he left us," Kairos said sadly.
"Well, ask his twin or something. Don't bring the leadership or consequences to me," Kaouspeur said, reappearing on his throne as his gaze drifted toward the lower dimensions. "You all are not actually very clear with your goal. I demand that you are clear with it, and my author should stop making me blue in color!" Kaouspeur said, looking toward the screen.
"Johnson is very confused, writing about me as if I'm some kind of character. To think that I'm the one writing about myself," Kaouspeur murmured in his thoughts, then turned to face Kaito. "So what is it then you all want?"
"We need to maintain balance and free will for all life and let them exist independently, not as united as you did," Auxo said.
A soft, radiant light bloomed from Auxo's palms, casting vivid projections into the air. Images flickered to life — planets choked with ash, oceans drained to bone-dry seabeds, forests reduced to dust. Cities crumbled beneath red skies as beings of light and flesh disintegrated into nothingness. Her voice, calm yet heavy with sorrow, echoed through the crystalline chamber of Kaouspeur's throne.
"These are the remnants of my realm," she said, her green eyes dimming. "My creations, my children, are dying. Their essence flickers and fades like candlelight in a storm."
Kaouspeur leaned back on his throne, resting his chin on his fingers, one leg crossed in quiet arrogance. Around him, the dimension shifted like liquid, his palace adapting to his mood. Planets, stars, and abstract concepts drifted lazily in unseen orbits, pulled by his will like beads on a string.
Auxo continued. "This destruction… this unraveling of life is because you, Kaouspeur, exist as the root of all things. As the Chaos King, your influence rules over the flow of every realm. And when the balance tips too far… the Executioner is sent."
A silence swept through the hall, tense and fragile.
Nyx, the primordial goddess of night, stepped forward, her voice velvet yet sharp. "The Executioner has been part of the cycle for eons. It is written into the foundations of fate. Every time you reincarnate, Kaouspeur, the world you're born into is eventually erased, forgotten, lost to time, and the story is forgotten."
She closed her eyes, her aura rippling like a shadow caught in the wind. "And it's happening again, until you stop the Executioner and Eraser of Worlds."
"Yes, we can join forces, bringing gods and humans, true dragons, the demons, every race in the universe, and even some angels," Kaito said, his tone filled with determination.
"That's a bad idea, mortal. The last person that did it couldn't bear to stay. He left everything and everyone, including me. I was the one who took everyone's souls after my father wiped them off instantly and proposed that I rule and become everything and nothing, taking both my brother's and my own duty while he watches me from above," Kaouspeur said, his eyes distant as if recalling a painful memory.
"Is it true?" Kaito asked, looking at Kairos and the others. Nyx bowed her head silently.
"Yes, it is true, hero of the mortal realm," Kairos began softly. "The most perfect and first creation of the Creator once challenged God because He kept erasing. Because of the laws He made, the manipulative Executioner caused him to lead a rebellion against the Creator. Thus, he was cast out, and in spite and desperation, he left all of us. Many eons later, the Creator gave rulership to His only son while spreading the lie that His brother rebelled out of pride…"
Kairos was immediately stopped by Kaouspeur.
"Because you are a scribe who has account of time doesn't mean you should reveal everything. Besides, that's a lot — too much info for one chapter. Maybe if I get my own novel, I'll reveal it myself," Kaouspeur said dryly.
"So what should we do then, Chaos King? If we don't fight him, the world as we know it will be destroyed," Kaito asked, looking up at him.
Kaouspeur exhaled, his expression unreadable. "You want me to fight him?" His rainbow-hued eyes narrowed slightly, glancing toward the screens of reality. "To stand against the Executioner? That's practically challenging the Creator Himself."
He snapped his fingers, and the illusions dissolved into smoke.
"No," he said, his tone calm, almost amused. "I have a better idea."
He rose, and the palace trembled. Planets stilled, light condensed into slow pulses, and all realms beneath him seemed to pause, listening.
"I will not rule everything. That was a mistake. Absolute unity breeds fragility. Instead, I will divide." He walked toward the endless horizon of his throne room, hands open, his voice resolute. "I'll use my Source Essence, and with it, I will build new frameworks. I will weave every realm, every world, and every dimension with its own system, its own balance, its own overseers."
"But if you do that by using your own essence to divide all realms and make them work independently with overseers, there are so many things that will go wrong with this decision, Kaous. Your actions might erase you completely from all realms instantly, bringing forth chaos," Nyx said with concern. "The very thing we are trying to avoid will happen by your death."
"I don't understand. Isn't that what we came for? A solution?" Kaito asked, confused.
"Yes, but Kaouspeur erasing himself from all realms would leave the seat vacant and cause imbalance in all of creation. The Creator can simply erase us with his Executioner, and we would all cease to exist once he sees that the seat is empty," Auxo explained. "Except…"
"Except I reincarnate. But that time, the realms will be fine without me," Kaouspeur said, tilting his head slightly.
"But is this for her? You should stop, because you might run insane if you don't meet her," Kairos warned.
"She will indeed reincarnate, but I don't know who she'll be. Time will tell, won't it, Father?" Kaouspeur said, looking at Kairos.
"Don't call me that. I couldn't raise you when you were little. I'm not deserving of that," Kairos said, looking away. "Your mother curses every day because I betrayed her."
"I have forgiven you, Kairos. We treated you badly, and for that, I apologize for the way we gods have treated you and Nyxeria with such cruelty," Nyx said as she patted Kairos gently. "We had to do that because if Metatron or any other being found out about it, it could lead to war over him. That's why we had to punish you quickly," Nyxeria explained.
"Well, please tell Nyxeria that I still love her and I am sorry about the matter regarding our son," Kairos said to Nyx.
"Hmm, about Nyx… okay, I'll pass the message if she listens to me," Nyx said, holding back the truth as she smiled faintly.
"So what is going to happen? How can we even kill you, Kaouspeur, or erase you?" Kaito asked.
"The fate of the human, no, the entire realm depends on whatever actions we take today."
"If you erase yourself, Kaouspeur, how sure are you that there will be absolute peace and flourishing in all realms? Would the realms not collapse?" Auxo asked, her voice filled with concern.
Kaouspeur sighed, understanding their hearts and seeing their fears. He descended from his throne, his radiant form shifting. His skin became smooth and human-like, fair and unblemished. His robe changed into a black coat, his hair darkened to pure black. A faint smirk crossed his lips.
"What are you doing, Kaous?" Kaito said cautiously, hand on his sheath.
"Relax. I will not harm you or any of you. I just need to answer all your questions and thoughts," Kaouspeur said calmly.
"So what are you doing then?" Auxo asked, confused.
"Let's all imagine everything in all of creation as a coin," he said. And as if by thought alone, the entire palace transformed into a massive coin. They all stood upon an empty, white, blank sheet of paper.
"Ah, illusion… no, it's…" Kairos said in realization as Kaouspeur appeared behind them.
"It's your canvas, all of you. Our sheet. I can't go into much detail because we aren't animated yet, but here's what I'm trying to tell you," Kaous said, facing them.
"So what are you trying to show us?" Nyx asked, her gaze filled with confusion, shared by the others.
"Look at the coin," Kaous said as he tossed it upward. "Imagine everything in all of creation as a coin. Look its head, and if you flip it, it becomes tails. That's how everything in all of creation exists. Love and the opposite, hate. Freedom to slavery. Sin to righteousness. Good to evil. Created to the uncreated. Life to death. Fiction and reality. Everything to nothing."
"What is the point to all these?" Kairos asked in confusion. "You're speaking in words we do not understand."
"Your incomprehension is a side, a phase you are in. Once you flip your ability to understand, then shall you comprehend my words," Kaouspeur said, continuing as he walked slowly across the endless white sheet of paper.
