Dayo woke up early, the same way he always did. His biological clock never failed him. The morning felt calm, quiet, almost too normal considering what he had planned. He sat up, stretched slowly, and let his thoughts settle.
He had spent most of the night thinking about what to do with the evidence Max and Bella brought. At first, he wanted to wait. But after thinking it through, he realized that waiting would only make things harder. The earlier he handled this, the better. Besides, he wasn't going to lie to himself—he wanted to use this evidence for selfish reasons too.
One of the biggest reasons was simple:
He wanted to compete in more categories.
The 100m, 200m, and the 4×100 relay.
As far as he was concerned, he wasn't planning to be an "average athlete." With the system backing him, staying in only one event felt like a waste. Why limit himself? If he could dominate more categories, why not?
And as for the people who were caught doping?
That wasn't his business.
