The moment the meeting ended, Dayo walked toward the studio area. Sitting there was someone very close to him, someone who had been part of his journey for a while now. He had a strange smile on his face, but he stayed calm, trying not to show how happy he was.
"Good morning, Mrs. Luna. I hope we didn't keep you waiting too long?" Dayo asked in the most professional tone he could manage.
Luna sat on the couch with a neutral expression. If anyone looked closer, they'd see the small smirk she was trying hard to hide. "Morning to you too," she said. "Not at all. I just got here not too long ago."
Dayo nodded, relieved. "Hmm, good. Valery, please—"
He turned around, only to see Valery and Wayne both red in the face, trying hard not to burst into laughter.
"Oh my God, Dayo," Valery said between giggles. "I never knew you were such a good actor. Ha-ha!"
That was it — she couldn't hold it anymore. She started laughing so hard that Wayne had to turn away to keep from joining in.
