Chapter 81: Teacher Takes You to Catch Spies

Cooking for one doesn't need to be so complicated. Hanekawa used what was on hand to make a bowl of ramen. He walked out of the kitchen, using his "Mealtime Magic," and called out, "Teacher, dinner's ready!"

Tsunade climbed off the sofa and walked to the dining table. Seeing only one bowl of ramen, she was slightly taken aback.

"Who did you have dinner with?" Tsunade picked up her chopsticks and asked casually.

"Fugaku Uchiha." Hanekawa briefly explained what had happened.

"Shisui awakened his eyes at such a young age?" Tsunade's face showed a surprised expression upon hearing this.

If there was anyone who understood the Uchiha clan most clearly, it wasn't Madara Uchiha or Fugaku Uchiha, but Tobirama Senju. His research on the Sharingan was incredibly profound. With Tsunade's identity and status, she had naturally read it. She remembered that Madara Uchiha, hailed as the Uchiha clan's strongest member, awakened his eyes at around twelve years old. Could it be that Shisui Uchiha's talent was even stronger?

"Yes." Hanekawa nodded slightly and said, "The Sharingan is indeed worthy of its reputation."

"The Uchiha clan's jonin have a legend of being invincible in one-on-one combat on the battlefield." Tsunade slurped a mouthful of ramen. "Once Shisui awakens his three-tomoe Sharingan, it will be very difficult for you to defeat him again."

"That's not necessarily true." Hanekawa said with a smile, "I still have a lot of confidence in my teacher."

"What does that have to do with me?" Tsunade frowned slightly, asking with some confusion.

"A good teacher produces a good student," Hanekawa cleared his throat and explained, "The teacher is great, so the student is great too."

"You're all talk!" Tsunade rolled her eyes at him, then put on a serious face and asked, "You've been studying swordsmanship these past few days, have you forgotten about the Super Strength?"

"Definitely not forgotten." Hanekawa glanced at his Term progress bar and said, "I'm guessing I can learn it this year."

"This year?" Tsunade raised her eyebrows and said, "You sound quite confident."

If Hanekawa could learn it this year, it wouldn't be too slow; it would be too fast. In the original story, Sakura Haruno took about three years to learn medical ninjutsu and Super Strength, while Shizune never mastered it. Their talent in medical ninjutsu was already astonishing, which shows the difficulty of learning the Super Strength.

"I can't bring shame to my teacher." Hanekawa said with a serious expression.

"If you can learn it, you won't bring me shame; you'll make me proud." Tsunade smiled.

"Then my teacher can wait and see," Hanekawa said with a laugh.

With a cheat and hard work, not learning Super Strength would be the real problem.

"Oh right, I took a mission today," Tsunade suddenly remembered something.

"What kind of mission?" Hanekawa's eyes lit up. The last time he went on a mission was a month ago. He was getting tired of training every day and it was time to go out. Plus, he might even meet a genius like Mei Terumi who could help him with his talents.

"Catching spies," Tsunade said casually.

Hanekawa's heart stirred. Could it be a spy from the Hidden Cloud Village? A spy catching a spy, what a hard life, but there was no helping it; it was a necessary sacrifice.

"It's a spy from the Hidden Stone Village," Tsunade took a sip of ramen soup. "They'll be meeting in Tanzaku Town tomorrow morning."

"What's the mission rank?" Hanekawa pondered the geniuses of the Hidden Stone Village. Had Deidara, who liked to shout "Art is an explosion!", been born yet at this time? Even if he had, he wouldn't be running around as a spy. As for the future Tsuchikage, Kurotsuchi, she was even younger, the same age as Neji Hyuga, so she definitely hadn't been born yet.

"B-rank." Tsunade paused. "Don't worry, you definitely won't run into a jonin like last time."

"Okay," Hanekawa responded. "When do we leave tomorrow?"

"Tanzaku Town is about two hours away from Konoha." Tsunade thought for a moment. "Tomorrow morning at 6 AM, remember to come early and make breakfast."

"I'm your student, not your manservant," Hanekawa couldn't help but complain.

"I'm your teacher, have I charged you any tuition?" Tsunade glared at him and said, "Letting you cook is a huge bargain for you."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say," Hanekawa said dismissively.

"Brat!" Tsunade put down her chopsticks, stood up, and leaned forward slightly, saying, "Are you looking for a beating?" She had a serious expression, showing her teacherly authority.

Hanekawa's body trembled. What is blocking my view? He tried hard to look up and wisely said, "Teacher, you're absolutely right. I'll go do the dishes now."

Tsunade pouted. The brat was too slick, leaving her feeling frustrated.

After doing the dishes, Hanekawa went outside. He spent two hours leaving the ground in a mess, finally ending his Super Strength training.

The next day, Hanekawa arrived at Tsunade's house early. He woke her up and then made breakfast.

Tsunade finished washing up and stopped as she passed the kitchen. She looked inside and saw Hanekawa's busy figure. A hint of a daze appeared on Tsunade's face. She didn't know when, but she had grown accustomed to Hanekawa's presence. If he were gone one day, she wouldn't be able to adapt.

"Teacher, stop staring, and take the bowls and chopsticks out," Hanekawa looked at her and ordered without a hint of politeness.

Tsunade immediately snapped out of her contemplation. She took a few steps forward, forcefully ruffled his hair, and then picked up the bowls and chopsticks. Hanekawa was used to it, and he just silently made a note in his little book, knowing he would pay her back for it all someday.

After breakfast, the two of them left.

"I specifically called for two Anbu to accompany us; they'll take the spies back to Konoha," Tsunade said excitedly, rubbing her hands together. "As for us, we'll go to the casino for a few rounds."

Hanekawa now understood why she had taken this mission. It was for another purpose entirely. Tanzaku Town was mentioned in the original story as a bustling street, a veritable den of iniquity where Tsunade often went to gamble. Now that she had Hanekawa and no longer had a fear of blood, she went less often.

Two hours later, the two of them arrived at Tanzaku Town. It was only 8 AM, but the streets were already crowded with people. Hanekawa glanced around and saw many young women in revealing clothes standing at the entrances of taverns, soliciting customers. Tsunade's gaze had already drifted to a nearby casino.

She cleared her throat and said, "Same as last time, you'll go on the mission alone." Hanekawa nodded slightly. He had known this last night, so he wasn't surprised.

When he looked up again, Tsunade had already vanished. Hanekawa looked around and quickly located his target, an inn called Amaterasu Inn. According to the mission brief, he needed to capture the Hidden Stone Village spy and the ninja he was meeting with, both alive. They were likely two chunin.

Transformation Technique!

Hanekawa's body quickly grew taller in a puff of smoke, turning into an unremarkable young man in his thirties. He walked into the inn and checked in. After the attendant left, Hanekawa climbed out the window and quickly reached the room of the Hidden Stone Village spy.

Just one person? Hanekawa peered through the window and saw a middle-aged man in the room. He thought for a moment and simply knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" the middle-aged man asked warily.

"Room service," Hanekawa lied.

"I don't need any." The middle-aged man refused.

Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique!

Hanekawa made hand seals. The moment he finished, he kicked the door open and met the middle-aged man's gaze. The man was about to say something, but the scene before his eyes changed. He found himself in the Hokage's office, where the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, was glaring at him.

"Your secret has been exposed!"

"No! Don't kill me!" The middle-aged man's face showed intense fear. The Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique reflects the subject's greatest fear. As a spy, his greatest fear was being exposed.

Hanekawa walked up and delivered a punch, physically dispelling the genjutsu for him. The middle-aged man immediately fell into a baby-like sleep. Hanekawa propped him up, leaving him face down on the table, and with a flash, he was on a rafter. This was to prevent anyone from seeing him through the window or door cracks.

Time passed little by little. A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door. The knock had a rhythmic pattern, three long and two short, repeated. Hanekawa remembered the "Ninja Cipher" he had learned in class; this was clearly the Hidden Stone Village's special communication method. He jumped down and opened the door.

"You...!" The young ninja's pupils contracted when he saw the unfamiliar Hanekawa. But the next second, he fell into a daze. Hanekawa repeated the same trick and knocked him out. Ah, to be young; you could just fall asleep like that.

"Genjutsu is really convenient," a figure flashed by. It was Tsunade, who had been hidden in the shadows. She had witnessed the whole process. What could she say? He was smart; he didn't just rush in like a brute. Tsunade had thought he would be hot-headed and disdainful of using underhanded tactics. She was ready to teach him a lesson, but she didn't get to. It was a little disappointing. The brat was too good, and it was preventing her from experiencing the joy of being a teacher.

"Haru," Tsunade clapped her hands and called out.

"Lady Tsunade," two masked Anbu appeared one after another.

"Take them back and hand them over to the Old Man." Tsunade casually took out a mission scroll and said, "And help me hand in the mission."

"Yes." Haru put away the scroll, and he and his partner carried the two unconscious spies on the ground and turned to leave.

"Let's go!" Tsunade immediately got excited and said, "To the casino!"

"Yes," Hanekawa sighed.

Tsunade walked into a casino as if it were her second home.

"Lady Tsunade! It's been a long time since you've visited!" The casino owner's eyes lit up, and he was just short of calling her a big cash cow.

"Hmph!" Tsunade sat down at a gambling table with confidence. "I'm going to win back everything I've lost!"

The last time she was in Tanzaku Town, Hanekawa wasn't with her. But now, it was different!

Tsunade casually picked Hanekawa up and placed him on her lap. The familiar scent returned. Hanekawa sniffed, then resignedly buried himself in her embrace. What's going on? I haven't heard that Tsunade got married. The casino owner was confused, but what could one more kid do? But soon, he realized something was wrong.

"Hahaha!" Tsunade laughed incredibly happily.

Hanekawa frowned. He was sleeping so well, but then he felt a thud and a pressure, how annoying.
