Steve was planting green beans when he ran out of seeds. So, he hopped into his truck and drove to the local super market. On the way there, he stopped the truck to let a turtle pass the gravel road. He waited, and waited, and waited. Goddamn this turtle is slow. Steve jumped out the truck and moved the turtle to the other side of the road. Then the turtle immediately turned around and starting to the cross the other direction.
"What are you doing! I literally just helped you cross the road! Now you're coming back to the original side?"
Whatever. Steve jumped back into his car and went his way.
On the way back, Steve saw the same turtle again, crossing the road again. Though the road wasn't too busy, Steve worried that some crazy truck driver would accidentally kill the turtle.
"You going to get yourself killed, so I'm going to have to imprison you in my garden, okay, ...Tommy?." Steve told the turtle.
He chucked Tommy into into the back of his truck and drove home.
"Here you go." said Steve as he let Tommy into the garden.
Steve then did a quick pace around the perimeter of the garden to make sure there were no gaps in the wood fence. He did some research on the internet on caring for a turtle, bought some pond liner, lined a freshly dug hole with the liner, then filled it with some water. After, he picked some grapes and cucumbers and fed them to Tommy.
"It's about time this garden gets a real pond." said Steve overlooking the impromptu hole. "Isn't that right, Tommy?"
