Chapter 1 - Synopsis

Synopsis.

A brilliant scientist is murdered—but her mind is reborn in the body of a schoolgirl. Now she must hide her true identity, uncover her killer, and fight a powerful conspiracy while living a teenager's life.

Chapter 1 – The Last Experiment

The laboratory smelled faintly of burnt circuits and antiseptic.

Dr. Aria Mehra's fingers flew over the holographic keyboard, lines of quantum code streaming in front of her.

Tonight wasn't just another late-night experiment—it was the culmination of twelve years of work: The Consciousness Transfer Protocol.

Her research was already banned in most countries.

If it worked, a human mind could survive death by being stored and re-uploaded into a living brain.

If it failed… no one would live to write the report.

Suddenly, a red notification blinked on her console: "Unauthorized Access Detected."

She froze.

Someone's here.

Before she could shut the system down, the lab's reinforced doors slid open.

A shadow stepped inside, voice cold and certain.

"You should've stopped, Aria."

She recognized him—the government liaison who'd once funded her work.

But before she could demand answers, he pressed a small device on the wall.

The explosion was blinding.

Pain shot through her, then—nothing.

---

Somewhere else. Some time later.

Aria woke with a gasp.

Her hands were smaller. Softer. The ceiling above was not her lab's steel-gray paneling but a cheap plaster roof with peeling paint.

A mirror beside the bed showed the face of a teenage girl—big brown eyes, messy school-braided hair, and a uniform shirt hanging loosely.

She clutched her head as flashes of memory flooded in—her own death, her research, and now… the life of Ananya Sharma, an 11th-grade student from Delhi.

Outside the door, a woman's voice called,

"Ananya! Jaldi karo, school ke liye late ho raha hai!"

Aria—no, Ananya—took a deep breath.

If anyone found out who she really was, she wouldn't just be expelled from school.

She'd be killed—again.

And this time, there might not be a second rebirth.
