At this moment a teenage boy with blonde hair and yellow eyes wearing headphones opened his eyes and stared at you with a smile on his face.
He then spoke: "Hello there my name is Axel Rivers and what you're about to read is my story."
Axel: "Hmm.... Now where should I start?.... I guess I should start from how I died in my previous life.... And yeah you heard right I did say 'Previous Life' I'm currently living my second life."
"In my previous life I was just a 19 year old young man who was working part time in my city's police department as a part time crime scene photographer."
"One day while I was photographing a crime scene I ended up catching an important clue on the picture I took that had a high chance of pinpointing the perpetrator of the crime."
"Sadly right after discovering this clue, the person who committed the crime found me and stabbed me."
"Thankfully I managed to quickly swap the camera in my hand with the spare camera in my pocket right after he stabbed me."
"A few minutes after he took my spare camera from my hand and left, the police arrived.... but it was too late. I was basically only a few moments away from death at that point."
"After handing the police my camera and saying a few words.... yeah.... I died."
"When I woke up I found myself as a small baby in a crib. That was basically the start of my second life."
"At first I believed I was reborn in the same world... but after a few years I began to doubt it. Finally when I was 12 years old I saw a flying man in the news he was wearing blue and red with an S shaped symbol on his chest."
"At that moment I knew.... that I was reborn in a version of the DC Universe."

"Yaaawn...." At this moment a 15 year old Axel Rivers woke up from his sleep as he stretched his arms high.
Turning towards the calendar by the side of his room, Axel muttered: "So there's still a month before I have to start high school huh. Then I guess I'd better make the most of it."
Axel then jumped out of his bed and headed straight for his bathroom to take a bath.
When he got out of his bathroom, he only had a towel covering his lower body.
After getting dressed, Axel quickly headed downstairs for some breakfast.
Upon making his way to the kitchen, he was quickly greeted by a beautiful blonde girl with cyan colored eyes.
"Morning bro!" Said the beautiful blonde girl.
Axel Narration: "This blonde beauty sitting at the kitchen's dining table is my elder sister in this life Celine Rivers. Now don't let her good looks fool you. She used to be quite the little demoness when she was a kid. Back then she used to bully me all the time.... ALL THE TIME!"
"Good morning young master Axel." Greeted an elderly looking butler with white hair.
"Good Morning young master Axel." Greeted a pair of middle aged women wearing maid uniforms.
Axel Narration: "The elderly guy's name is Jeeves he's our family butler. As for the two maids their names are Mary and Anna. Since our parents are pretty much always busy handling matters with their companies, it was these three people who had practically raised me and my sister."
"Anyway besides my sister and my parents, I also have twin little siblings in this life. Their names are James and Janet, currently they're staying with our Mom while she's at work. Mainly because my two little siblings are still only 6 months old."
"Now since our Mom did not wish to separate from the twins and since she had to continue going to work, she had an entire nursery made for them in her office that way she could always be with them while still continuing with her work."
"Morning." Replied Axel as he took a seat at the dining table.
Axel: "So what's for breakfast today Jeeves?"
Jeeves smiled and replied: "One of your favorites young master.... Pancakes."
As Jeeves placed the pancakes on the table, Axel's eyes couldn't help but shine.
"Okay this just officially became a good start to the day." Thought Axel as he began eating the pancakes.
After finishing their breakfast, the group of five went to the living room to enjoy some morning TV.
Upon turning the channel to the morning news...
News Anchor: "This morning the recently formed group of heroes now calling themselves the Justice League had successfully stopped the nefarious plot of...."
Hearing what was on the news, Axel couldn't help but frown as he thought: "It's been three years since I've realized that I was in a version of the DC universe and yet.... I still haven't gotten used to it."
"Knowing that these super powered heroes that I had only watched in tv shows and read in comics were now actually existing in the world just feels so... unreal to me."
Celine: "This Justice League sure has been busy this past few weeks. This is like what the eight time that they stopped a major incident like this?"
Jeeves: "We should be quite thankful that none of these major incidents have occurred here in our city young mistress Celine."
Anna: "Yeah we're quite lucky that our Marvel City doesn't have any of those super powered villains that have been terrorising so many other places lately."
Axel Narration: "Oh yeah that's something I forgot to talk about. It turns out the place I was reborn in is a city that did not exist in my previous world called Marvel City."
"In fact one of the major reasons as to why I was sure this wasn't the DC universe that I knew in the comics, is because in this Marvel City there's a company called OSCORP.... and yeah... the one who founded it is a guy by the name of Norman Osborn."
"So for now all I've confirmed is that I'm in a version of the DC universe that has a unique city with OSCORP in it."
After watching tv for about an hour, Axel got up from the couch and quickly checked his phone.
Seeing this Celine merely smiled and said: "What's up twerp, you need to meet with your annoying friends already?"
"None of your business my demoness Sis." Said Axel with a smile as he quickly rushed out the front door successfully avoiding the couch pillow Celine just threw upon hearing what he said.
"Please be home by dinner time young master Axel!" Shouted Jeeves at the leaving boy
Once Axel got outside, he quickly stared at the text in his phone and muttered: "Jack's message says to meet him and the others at the park's basketball court."
After taking a few steps forward, Axel suddenly turned around and stared at his home with a sigh.
Axel: "Even though I've been living here for fifteen years now, I still can't get used to it."
It was a fairly large beautiful looking white mansion. This is Axel's home in his current life.
Axel Narration: "So yeah I guess It's about time I explained a bit more about my parents. As you might've guessed... they're rich. You see both of my parents each own multi-million dollar companies."
"Let's start with my father in this life. His name is Dominic Rivers his company's name is Sky Home Industries. Although his company sells very many electronic products, it is actually most known for their superb home appliances."
"Then there's my Mom in this life. Her name is Bella Rivers. The company she owns is called Kisslock, it's basically a fashion company that specializes in selling clothing, makeup and accessories."
After staring at his house for a few moments, Axel finally left and headed straight for the park.
...
Upon arriving at the park's basketball court, Axel immediately saw his friends and greeted them.
"Hey guys!" Said Axel as he greeted his friends with a wave.
Among Axel's four friends, one is a tall african american teenage boy with black hair by the name of Jackson Briggs.
Another one of his friends is a tomboyish pretty teenage girl with short blonde hair and green eyes. Her name is Sonya Brace.
The third one among his friends is a very beautiful brunette teenage girl with brown eyes. Her name is Kitana Knight.
The fourth one among his friends is a handsome looking teenage boy with light brown hair wearing shades. His name is Johnny Crest.
Axel Narration: "These are my four best friends in my current life Jack, Johnny, Sonya and Kit. I've been hanging out with them since we were like four years old.... So yeah we go way back."
"Took you long enough to get here." Said Sonya as she threw the basketball in her hands towards Axel.
Catching the ball in his hands, Axel replied: "Yeah kinda got a bit engrossed watching the news."
Jack then said: "Alright since Ax is here, we can start playing some basketball!"
"You guys go on ahead I still need to fix my superstar hairstyle." Said Johnny as he was staring at the hand mirror in his hand.
At that moment Sonya quickly took the ball from Axel and threw it straight at Johnny's hand mirror.
Shatter...
Once the ball hit the hand mirror, it immediately dropped out of Johnny's hand and it's handle broke upon hitting the ground.
"My mirror!" Shouted Johnny as he stared at his broken hand mirror on the ground.
"Whoops... Sorry about that it was totally an accident." Said Sonya with a fake smile on her face.
Seeing this Kit simply sighed and said: "Honestly when are you two gonna grow up. We're already teenagers and you two are still acting like kids."
By this point Jack picked up the ball on the ground and asked: "So are we gonna play ball or not."
"Yes we are!" Said Johnny as he stared at Sonya with an irritated expression.
Johnny: "But Sonya and I are gonna be on different teams. If our team wins then Sonya's gonna have to buy me a new mirror!"
Sonya: "Oh a bet? Fine then.... but what happens if my team wins?"
Johnny: "If your team wins then I'll treat you guys to lunch for a week!"
Hearing this Sonya immediately shouted in reply: "You're on!"
She then turned towards Axel and said: "Axel you're on my team got it?"
Axel: "You sure you want it to be me? I mean I'm the worst player here among the five of us."
Sonya: "No worries just pass me the ball and we're sure to win."
Axel: "If you say so."
...
After a few games later, Johnny could be seen kneeling on the ground with a devastated expression on his face.
"Welp we lost." Said Jack while scratching the back of his head.
Johnny then turned to Jack with an irritated face while pointing at Sonya and said: "How did that even happen? I mean how the heck did she manage to dunk over you several times like that?!"
"Dunno." Replied Jack as he simply shrugged at Johnny's words.
"It's called getting good boys. You should try it some time Johnny." Said Sonya with a smug smile as she high fived Axel on their win.
Axel: "Well looks like Johnny will be treating us to lunch for awhile."
"That's right better keep your end of the bargain superstar." Said Sonya as she stared at Johnny with a wide smile.
Johnny: "Grrr..."
After talking with Jack, Sonya and Johnny for a bit more, Axel decided to approach Kit who did not participate in their basketball game and instead prefered to read a book and said: "Come on Kit, Johnny's treating us all to lunch."
"Hm?" Upon realizing it was Axel who suddenly spoke to her, Kit who had been too engrossed reading the book in her hand just now said: "Oh Johnny's treating us? I guess you and Sonya won then."
Seeing her reaction Axel couldn't help but sigh and thought: "Same old Kit. She's been like this ever since I first met her ten years ago. Always so focused on her books."
In fact despite Kit not having joined them in playing basketball, she was by no means unathletic.
Axel Narration: "Kit here practice's martial arts and is actually quite good. Also don't think that she's weak just because she has a slim body. She could probably knock out even a big guy like Jack if she really wanted to."
"Basically what I'm trying to say here is that she's the type of girl that you should never piss off."

After enjoying lunch and spending time with his friends for about another few hours, Axel quickly said his goodbyes to them and left.
After checking his phone for a moment Axel said: "Look at the time.... I'd better get going to the antique store otherwise Uncle Ken might decrease my pay for the month."
Despite his family being rich in his current life, Axel still preferred to earn his own money. As such he decided to take up a part time job. Thankfully a family friend by the name of Kendrick Trust offered him a part time job at his antique shop.
Entering the old looking antique store, Axel quickly said: "Uncle Ken I'm here!"
At that moment a bald kind looking elderly man came out from the back of the antique store with a smile and greeted Axel: "Oh Axel you're finally here!"
Kendrick: "You're just in time to help me carry some of the new stuff in the back."
Axel Narration: "This elderly man is Kendrick Trust he's a long time friend of our family. My parents say he was my Grandfather's closest friend. Since I'm technically working for him, he is also basically my boss.... but I just pretty much call him Uncle Ken."
"Since I never really got to meet any of my Grandparents in my current life, Uncle Ken is pretty much the closest thing to a Grandfather I have!"
"No problem Uncle Ken I'll get it done." Replied Axel to Kendrick's words as he begun to follow the elderly man to the back of the antique store.
...
It was around 5:30pm when Axel and Kendrick finished their work at the antique store and decided to close up.
At this moment a bald elderly man and a blonde haired boy could be seen enjoying some tea within the closed antique store.
Axel: "As always your tea tastes terrific Uncle Ken."
After chuckling a bit Kendrick suddenly asked: "Axel you'll be starting high school in a month's time now won't you?"
Axel: "Yup I'm going to Marvel Central High."
Hearing his words, Kendrick simply showed a kind smile and said: "Well time sure flies now doesn't it?... Feels like it was only yesterday that I first held you in my hands right after your mother gave birth to you."
After a moment Kendrick's eyes suddenly turned serious as he placed a hand on Axel's shoulder and said: "Axel promise me.... promise me that you'll always take good care of yourself."
Seeing his Uncle Ken's expression and hearing his words, Axel couldn't help but frown and ask: "Uncle Ken... is something wrong?"
Kendrick then sighed and said: "You see Axel... nowadays the world is becoming something very unfamiliar to me. Superpowered people flying in the skies, vigilantes hiding within the cities at night.... even insane criminals capable of influencing the world's governments aren't uncommon."
After sighing once again, Kendrick continued his words: "I just... can't help but be worried that you'd have to grow up in such a world."
Hearing his Uncle Ken's words, Axel couldn't help but agree but he still had to reassure the elderly man: "Don't worry Uncle Ken I'll be fine after all Marvel City is one of the safest cities in the world. I'm sure so long as I and my family stay within this city, there should be nothing to worry about."
By this point Kendrick still continued to frown and said: "Well I hope you're right."
...
It was around 6:00pm when Axel left the antique store, by this point he was already walking home as he couldn't help but think: "Still Uncle Ken does have a point.... a world with many superheroes and villains isn't exactly safe for ordinary people like me nowadays. Hopefully none of those conflicts make it here to Marvel City."
As Axel continued walking home, he was unaware that three men wearing black robber masks were staring at him from a dark alley.
One of them said: "That's him right? The one Mr. Falcone wanted us to kidnap. The son of the Rivers couple."
Another one then said as he stared at Axel's photo in his hand: "Yup that's definitely him."
As for the third one, he pulled out some brass knuckles from his pocket and said: "Then let's get to work."
After the three men left the alley, one of them quickly got behind Axel and immediately grabbed the blonde haired boy from behind and covered his mouth.
"mph?!!" Axel was naturally caught off guard by what was happening. But before he could even begin to struggle another black masked man appeared in front of him and punched him in the stomach with brass knuckles.
"Ugh!" Sadly due to the boy's mouth being covered, he could neither shout in pain nor for help.
"Guh!" When the black masked man from behind Axel released him, Axel couldn't help but kneel on the ground and grab his stomach due to the sheer pain.
As Axel slowly rasied his head and spoke with great difficulty: "What... do you... want?"
The black masked man simply stared at him coldly without giving him a reply.
After a moment....
Thud!
The black masked man delivered a punch to Axel's head with his brass knuckles.
As the blonde haired boy was now lying on the ground slowly losing consciousness, he suddenly heard a robotic female voice sound within his mind.
"Spider Suit System is now fully activated!"
"Detecting hostiles around the Host!"
"Confirming Host is currently injured!"
"Injecting Special Spider Serum into the Host's body... Please Stand By!"
It was then that Axel completely lost consciousness.
Axel Narration: "Before this moment I had honestly believed that my second life would only be a normal one. However... it seems god had other plans for me."
