Ignis mocked, jumping back to distance himself from Jigen.
Jigen wore a strange smile on his face, reaching out his hand, a scroll sliding out from his sleeve.
It was a scroll.
On it was painted what seemed to be a pattern of some kind of wild beast.
But upon closer inspection, one would discover that it was a giant dragon.
A giant dragon composed of wind elements.
The giant dragon raised its head and roared, the wind-attribute spiritual pressure on its body rampaging, filling the entire area with a violent and unparalleled power.
Jigen knelt on one knee, pressing his hands on the ground.
The giant dragon slowly raised its head, in a pose that seemed eager to try.
It stared at Ignis, its body shaking.
A thick wind blade was born out of thin air, then whistling as it flew out.
Ignis's body moved quickly.
This wind blade swept past the position where Ignis had been standing previously.
Splitting open the hard rock wall.
"As expected of a guy who possesses the power of the Nine-Tails, even without relying on illusion techniques, this level of ninjutsu is quite troublesome."
Ignis muttered to himself.
This was Jigen's unique secret technique - Eight Trigrams Empty Palm.
Its power wasn't too strong, but it excelled in its wide range, frequent attacks, and extreme difficulty to deal with.
Especially if one was locked on, it was basically impossible to escape.
Therefore, Jigen preferred this kind of pure power contest.
Moreover, his strength had progressed remarkably in recent years, reaching the Shadow level.
This was also the confidence he had to provoke Ignis.
"Looks like you are also a interesting fellow."
Jigen smiled, "But this can't change anything, today you will undoubtedly die!"

Jigen's face immediately swelled up high.
Ignis squatted down: "With this little ability of yours, you want to play with me? Who is worthy of being my opponent? You traitor? Trash? You really think I can't do anything to you?"
"Bastard!"
Jigen roared angrily, kicking out a leg.
Ignis dodged to the side.
Jigen shifted his attack, slamming an elbow strike into Ignis's waist, bending his body considerably.
But Ignis still stood up as if nothing had happened.
Such close-quarters combat was completely effortless for Ignis.
Unless he encountered some special circumstances, like being ganged up on by a group of Shadow-level opponents.
Otherwise, these injuries could be instantly restored.
The Ignis of the past, was such an awesome existence.
He didn't even need to rest, and could immediately enter the battlefield.
Of course, that kind of situation wouldn't be encountered.
Jigen's punches and kicks, had no effect on Ignis.
Ignis casually counterattacked, but Jigen was beaten non-stop, vomiting, with a bruised and swollen face, looking extremely miserable.
The difference between the two, was simply like heaven and earth.
"Damn it..."
Jigen angrily looked at Ignis.
But Ignis suddenly stopped, standing in front of Jigen.
Jigen's eyes lit up, thinking he had hit the bullseye.
He slapped his palm towards Ignis's head, but saw Ignis slightly frown.
"What?"
Jigen was puzzled, did this guy give up resisting?
"Is that all you've got?" Ignis asked.
"What do you mean?" Jigen's pupils suddenly contracted.
"You wouldn't know, that I also cultivated Susanoo, would you?" Ignis said.
Jigen's expression drastically changed, chakra erupting from his body.
"Useless, the difference in our strength is too great." Ignis sighed.
"You're just an ordinary person!"
Jigen roared.
Ignis reached out, grabbing Jigen's arm, suddenly pulling hard.
Jigen's body spun like a top, being dragged up by Ignis.
"Susanoo!"
Jigen said in a low voice.
Behind him, a black-red phantom suddenly appeared.
The giant Susanoo manifested, as if a god had descended, giving people immense pressure and deterrence.
Jigen's figure, suddenly swelled up.
In the blink of an eye, he changed several times over.
A terrifying monster over four meters tall appeared within Ignis's vision, throwing a punch, slamming towards Ignis's chest.
"What fast speed."
Ignis's face slightly hardened, his body stepping back, at the same time his arms horizontally blocking, resisting Jigen's attack.
Boom!
Amidst the loud noise, Jigen's fist slammed into Ignis's chest.
But the next second, Jigen felt that his power, was completely unable to advance an inch, being blocked.
This time, Jigen's expression finally changed.
This man, actually forcibly resisted his Eight Trigrams Empty Palm?
"Oh, that's right, forgot to tell you, your Eight Trigrams Empty Palm, has no effect on me whatsoever, and that palm I just used, was just a feint." Ignis said.
Jigen gritted his teeth, he had indeed overlooked one thing.
His Eight Trigrams Empty Palm, only produced effects on the elite among the elite.
The guy in front of him, simply didn't count as a Konoha ninja!
