"Petilil, try again, use bullet seed"
"Petilil!"
Around Petilil's mouth area seeds appeared, suddenly they all gained momentum and launched.
"PIPPPP!"
"Dodge Piplup, if you don't wanna get hurt move"
"Pipluuuppp!"
"Run bitch, ruuuunnn!"
"PIPLUP!"
Right now I was training Petilil to use bullet seed, and Piplup to work on her evasion, and so far the results were hilarious.
Piplup looked like she lost a fight to a tennis ball machine.
Meanwhile Petilil looked ready for another round of bullet seed, seeing that the non-puffy red spots on Piplup's face paled.
"Piplup use water gun on the ground to make it easier to move", Piplup were not nearly as good at moving on land as they were in any body of water. Anytime we went out and she wasn't in her pokeball she would always trip over herself.
Piplup not wanting to get hurt again, blasted the ground and was able to steady herself, Petilil seeing that Piplup was ready fired her bullet seed. As of right now only half of the seeds would reach Piplup, the rest needed more power.
The mud Piplup was in helped her move around as she dodged the first blast of bullet seed, seeing that Piplup looked smug, puffing up her chest as she looked to the sky.
Her moment of glory was utterly shattered when the next round of bullet seed started while she wasn't paying attention.
Picking up Petilil, I walked over to Piplup, standing over her. We both looked down, she was so puffy it was hard to tell if it was from the bullet seed or her crying.
"Hate to break it to you Piplup but bullet seed can come out up to five times"
Turns out the puffiness wasn't just from the attack, now she was full on crying.
With Piplup in this state I recalled her and picked up her barrel of Buizel bites. With one arm around the barrel while the other put Petilil in her usual spot and made my way towards the pokemon center.
Upon entering Noah and Kyra looked as if they had just finished lunch. After handing Piplup's pokeball to nurse Joy I grabbed a burger and joined them at their table.
Turning to Kyra who had a satisfied look on her face, while Misdreavus looked pretty bummed out as she lazily floated nearby. "so where's Gastly?"
"He's asleep, couldn't make it the whole day"
"Missss", turning to Misdreavus, she looked so sad her new friend couldn't be out all day, Misdreavus even floated over to Gastly's ball and started shaking it. After a while of continuous shaking Gastly's ball finally popped open.
Gastly glared at Misdreavus, then before she could react Gastly licked Misdreavus's face then dashed right back into his ball.
"MIS!?"
She was outraged, how dare he lick her, Misdreavus demanded retribution as she tried to get Gastly to come out of his ball.
We all laughed at her antics, after numerous failed attempts to open Gastly's ball, she gave up and rushed into Kyra's embrace acting as if she had been wounded.
Time flew by and before we knew it, it was the next day. Due to Dawn and Ash being in the show we got special rooms, I was with the girls and Noah was with the boys.
Naturally in my room I was the first to wake up, because the rooms were so small, except for Kyra both me and Dawn's pokemon were in our pokeballs. Surprisingly enough Kyra's Duskull was up though he just seemed lost.
Not seeing Misdreavus or Gastly I made my way to the bathroom.
Now freshened up I grabbed my stuff and headed downstairs. While walking I noticed that Duskull was following me, I didn't mind with his trainer asleep and his ghost buddies nowhere to be found he probably had nothing better to do.
We were all staying in this hotel that was next to the stadium, looking at the time, the complementary breakfast was still being served so may as well see what they have.
"Let's see, we got some cereal, eggs, sausage, juice, some fruit, and a waffle maker, I can work with this."
Pulling together a plate, I sat down at one of the sticky tables nearby. After sitting down I realized something, looking around there were only three other people but no Noah.
"That's weird" I mumbled, but hey he's probably fine.
Midway through my waffle I heard the sound of a vacuum, at first I didn't think much of it, then Duskull who had been watching me suddenly floated in front of me, "what's up"
"Dusk" was all he said as he turned away, following his line of sight I tilted my head to the side to see what was going on.
"Gaa haa assssly", it was Gastly
At first I was confused, then I saw it, a vacuum was chasing Gastly as he dashed through the halls trying to avoid being sucked up.
It didn't take me long to realize that the vacuum was being possessed by Misdreavus, the hotel staff members that were nearby didn't look concerned at all, one of the staff member seeing my confusion came over to me.
"I saw you yesterday with that trainer with the Misdreavus and Gastly", he said while pointing towards the screaming ghost.
"I guess, so why don't you mind that they're causing a ruckus?"
"Because no one is booked on the first floor and earlier one of our guests made a mess and they cleaned it up so us staff don't mind them."
"Okayyy"
He just shrugged and went away, I continued watching Gastly evade Misdreavus while I ate my breakfast.
After another twenty minutes of the ghosts goofing off I heard a bang from a table nearby, it was Noah, he had banged his head on the table, and by the looks of it he had slept over there.
"Noah, what heck happened to you?"
To put it lightly he looked terrible, bags under his eyes, messy hair, even the way he walked over to me was questionable, he could easily be mistaken to be drunk.
Getting up I hurriedly guided him to my table, once he sat down he practically melted into the chair.
"Thanks Hikari", he sort of mumbled towards me, "Noah, what happened last night?"
"Remember how I was bunking with the guy's?"
"Yea?"
"Fun fact, Brock is very, very obsessed with nurse Joy and officer Jenny"
To me that was not news, everyone who watched the show knew that, but I still raised my eyebrow towards Noah. "So what does that have to do with you looking like you didn't sleep?"
He shuddered, "I pity the pillow he had, Brock sleep talked the entire night, kept talking about how much he loves those two."
"After a while I couldn't take it anymore and slept over there." he said while pointing over to the booth he slept in which still had his blanket and a pillow.
We continued talking, after a while everyone else started coming down, Noah upon seeing Brock scooted away.
When Kyra came down Misdreavus, and Gastly started acting like compadres, as if they hadn't spent the last hour or two chasing each other. Unlike the rest when Dawn came down, she was all dressed up for her competition, Ash meanwhile had just worn his usual outfit.
We stayed in the lobby for a while longer, then went to the stadium. Once we were all inside Dawn and Ash went to the competitors area while everyone else went to find seats.

Now I must introduce our lovey Judges, first we have nurse Joy, next we have the head of the pokemon fan club Mr. Suikizo, and last but not least we have the pokemon contest director Mr. Contesta.
Hearing that I turned to Kyra who was sitting next to me, she turned to me, we both had the same thought. Who the hell would pick that name?
That was like what Nicole Watterson's parents did when she was just born, "congratulations mam, it's a ceo?"
And now for contestant number one it's Zoey, "Misdreavus, curtain"
"She has a Misdreavus? Zoey has my vote for being the winner."
"Really Kyra? That's all it took for you to give up on Dawn"
"Yup", Kyra shamelessly replied back as she watched Zoey's performance
Zoey had her Misdreavus create a purple cloud, then she spread it out by using double team. Once the fog was dispersed Zoey's Misdreavus used shock wave creating a huge wave of electricity.
"I suddenly have the urge to have my Misdreavus go through harder training." Krya said while writing down Zoey's moves in a notebook.
I just shrugged, whatever helps you Kyra.
After Zoey there were several trainers who went up but no Dawn or Ash, we all clapped for the next performances, no one in particular caught my eye, that was until the next one was announced.
"And next up is Jesselena"
Looking at the girl on stage I looked at the rest of my group, to them she was just another contestant but for anyone with common sense, it was obvious that up there was Jessie.
Not many people had that color of hair, or length, I kept my mouth shut and just watched as she released James's Carnivine?
Her performance went well right up until the where Carnivine used bite on Jessie's head. While everyone was clapping no one seemed to notice how Jessie was screaming.
After Jessie it was Ash's turn with Aipom, then finally Dawn with her Piplup.
With Dawn being the last contestant, everyone eagerly watched the screens to see who would be moving on.
Luckily for our group both our contestants Ash, and Dawn made it past the first round. After a quick half time break where we were all price gouged we settled in to watch the next round of Ash vs Zoey.
Ash used Aipom, while Zoey instead of her Misdreavus a Glameow appeared, "she lost my vote"
"So you really just gave up on Dawn and Ash just because Zoey used a Misdreavus?" I asked Kyra who had narrowed eyes.
"Yes, and she is a traitor"
The battle was intense, unfortunately Ash didn't win, Zoey did. After their match Dawn won hers against some girl I didn't recognize but surprisingly enough Jessie also won her match.
Honestly I was really surprised, most of the time Ash's battles against team rocket lasted around at most five minutes, then they would be blasted off somewhere so the fact Jessie was still in I was sort of rooting for her.
Since Ash lost he joined us in the stands as we prepared for Dawn's next match. But once the results were shown Ash grimaced, Dawn was against Zoey.
During the battle Dawn's Buneary used ice beam on the ground, this made Zoey's Glameow slip on the ice. That created an opening for Dawn but Zoey's Glameow was experienced and kept dodging until the time expired.
With more points than Dawn, Zoey was the winner.
"Dang it, she actually lost?" Lucas was hit the hardest, Lucas was all dressed in an inflatable Piplup costume so it was easy for Ash to find us. Lucas was clutching his head as he watched the down Dawn on stage.
Brock being the voice of reason comforted him, "don't worry for, she made it this far, remember this is her first contest and she made it to the semi-finals."
"Yea, and it was an awesome battle", Ash cheered
"Lucas, Dawn did great, with some more practice she can definitely win the next one." Noah said while patting Lucas on the back.
Because of Lucas's costume Dawn easily found us and settled in to watch the remaining matches, Jessie won hers putting her up against Zoey.
During their match Carnivine had Glameow pinned down, "alright Carnivine, use bite"
"Tch, Glameow use shadow claw to escape"
The two attacks collided and it was Canivine who flinched back, allowing Glameow to escape. They continued sending attacks back and fourth, that was when Zoey decided to end it with an iron tail.
Glameow jumped high into the air, as she descended her tail glowed, Carnivine couldn't react and Jessie screamed.
Just as Glameow's tail was about to smash into Carnivine's head something collided with Glameow, everyone had been so focused on the battle no one had noticed the loud sound of something approaching.
Whatever it was, it was on fire and created a huge cloud of smoke, "Glameow!?" Zoey called as she rushed to the remains of her pokemon.
During all this the five minute timer expired, some stage crew members brought out a fire extinguisher and put out the fire. Everyone watched with baited breath as we all watched the scene.
Behind all the smoke sounds of fighting could be heard, suddenly a man with something under his arm burst out and ran towards the exit. Some of the staff tried to catch him but any time they got close the pokemon under his arm would growl.
"Glameow!!"
Hearing Zoey's cry everyone's focus went back to the stage, a crew member had pulled out Glameow by the scruff of its neck. Everyone saw the poor cat completely covered in soot with swirls in her eyes.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief seeing that Glameow would just need a trip to the pokemon center. The judges after seeing that Glameow was alright all settled back in their chairs, but do to the contest still going on they had to make a decision.
It was Mr. Contesta who spoke, unfortunately due to outside interference Mrs. Zoey's Glameow is unable to battle, but to the time expiring, and Glameow being knocked out, the winner is Jesselna.
The crowd cheered, I however was in shock, Jesse won something? Ash's Pikachu lost to a fresh starter pokemon, or team rocket would never win longer than an episode, my point being this world was full of legendary losers.
And yet I had just seen one of them win, did that mean the world would end? By her winning would we have the luck of a certain legendary Sanin?
While I was still contemplating if the world would end, Jessie received the Jubilife ribbon, regardless I still clapped for her.
Once everything was all said and done and Dawn had changed back into her usual outfit we headed to the pokemon center, she wanted to see how Zoey was.
We found Zoey, she looked down but not distressed so Dawn approached her, "hey Zoey, it's me Dawn, sorry for your loss."
"It's fine, I'm just glad Glameow just needs some rest." She sighed "though it does suck that I lost, if whatever that was hadn't smashed into Glameow I would've won."
"Don't sweat it, you or Dawn will win the next competition" Ash said while rubbing Pikachu's head.
Dawn and Zoey talked for a while longer, after Zoey got Glameow's ball back she and Dawn fist bumped, officially becoming rivals.
