Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Necromancer, Prisoner of Azkaban, Professor of Hogwarts!

London.

The Leaky Cauldron.

The pub owner's pupils contracted when he saw the young man appear at the door.

At the same time, the entire pub fell silent.

The young man at the door seemed accustomed to all of this.

He walked directly towards Tom.

He had extremely black hair, sharp features, a handsome face, a well-proportioned physique, and was quite tall.

However, the only flaw was that he had two heavy dark circles under his eyes, which made him look considerably more haggard.

Upon reaching the counter, Tom swallowed, carefully asking,

"Rollin, have you… escaped from prison again?"

Everyone else in the pub also turned their gaze to the young man, waiting for his answer.

Rollin Lasmar smiled at the question:

"How could that be? They just had a slight discussion with me."

Old Tom found it very strange:

"They discussed with you? Discussed what?"

"They asked me to be a professor at Hogwarts," Rollin said frankly.

?

Old Tom was bewildered.

The reason for his strong reaction was that this person should not have been here at this moment, but rather in Azkaban.

Rollin Lasmar.

A very well-known figure in the British wizarding world.

He was originally an ordinary orphan in an orphanage.

After graduating from public school, he started working at an ordinary company.

Such an ordinary person, however, experienced a magical outburst at the age of twenty and became a wizard.

Logically speaking, this was somewhat rare, but having one more wizard was no big deal.

It was just that Rollin's wizardry was slightly different from other wizards.

He was a Necromancer.

How to put it?

The profession of Necromancer had not appeared for several centuries.

For the current magical world, Necromancers were definitely considered Dark Wizards.

After all, Necromancers dealt with corpses, and in legends, they were associated with many ominous things.

When such a type of wizard suddenly appeared, the entire magical world was baffled.

After Rollin Lasmar became a wizard, the Ministry of Magic immediately contacted him.

Upon seeing Rollin summon a skeleton using bones, they unhesitatingly decided to throw Rollin into Azkaban.

For the people of the Ministry of Magic, this was undoubtedly desecrating corpses.

Moreover, Rollin's magic was filled with an uncomfortable aura.

They believed that Rollin Lasmar was undoubtedly the third Dark Lord!

Thinking of Voldemort and Grindelwald, the Ministry of Magic already had PTSD; they would not allow Rollin to grow into the third Dark Lord.

The British wizarding world, upon learning of Rollin's situation, also agreed with the Ministry of Magic's handling.

And so, Rollin Lasmar was imprisoned in Azkaban.

However, in less than three days, Rollin emerged from it.

It wasn't because the Ministry of Magic had a change of heart and decided to release him.

Instead, he brazenly escaped from prison.

Rollin, accompanied by his dozen or so skeletons, swaggered out of Azkaban.

No one in the entire Azkaban could stop him.

After the prison break, the Ministry of Magic was very displeased.

They mobilized all their Auror teams to capture Rollin and bring him back.

They expected Rollin to resist, but he obediently followed them back to Azkaban.

After investigation, it was discovered that after Rollin left Azkaban, he had merely gone to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink.

Tom met Rollin then, along with his skeletons.

Old Tom was terrified at the time, thinking Rollin was going to do something to the Leaky Cauldron.

But he really just drank.

He thought everything was over, but then a week later, he received news again.

Rollin had escaped from prison again.

This escape was even more serious than the last.

He didn't just bring his own skeletons; he also brought the Dementors from Azkaban with him!

This terrified the people at the Ministry of Magic.

The high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Magic quickly came to communicate with Rollin.

Finally, an agreement was reached: as long as Rollin was willing to bring the Dementors back to Azkaban, they would give Rollin the best treatment.

That time, Rollin also visited the Leaky Cauldron.

Old Tom didn't see the Dementors, but the skeletons around Rollin had been replaced with a new batch.

Now, it was the third time he had seen Rollin.

Old Tom was both surprised and felt it was normal, yet also a bit confused.

This time, he didn't see Rollin's skeletons. Where were they?

Moreover, Rollin said he had become a professor at Hogwarts.

Was Hogwarts going to teach necromancy now?

Rollin didn't explain to Old Tom about becoming a Hogwarts professor.

In fact, he was equally surprised when he first heard the news.

He, a necromancer who had been studying necromancy in Azkaban, was actually invited to Hogwarts.

Later, people from the Ministry of Magic came to talk to him.

They said Dumbledore had decided that he should go to Hogwarts as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

Rollin wanted Dumbledore to find someone more suitable at the time.

He wasn't being modest either.

The key was, how could he, an Azkaban necromancy prisoner who only knew necromancy, suddenly become a professor at Hogwarts?

But Dumbledore was very insistent, and even came to see him specifically, saying that he had already decided to let him be the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

There was no other way.

Rollin was still quite curious about Hogwarts.

Since Dumbledore was so insistent and wasn't afraid of him misleading students, being a professor would be fine.

At worst, he would study up a bit before teaching the students.

After all, he had a system.

That's right.

Rollin had a system.

Rollin Lasmar, whose original name was Rollin, somehow transmigrated to this world and became a very typical transmigrated orphan.

He originally thought this was just an ordinary world, but he didn't expect to become a wizard at the age of twenty.

Moreover, he awakened the Necromancer Supreme System and became a necromancer accompanied by death.

Then he was discovered by the Ministry of Magic and spent some time in Azkaban.

At first, he was a bit unaccustomed.

He went out for a stroll twice.

Later, Azkaban became quite good too.

Especially after the Ministry of Magic provided him with air conditioning, a sofa, a luxurious large bed, and all sorts of enjoyable things, he became so content that he forgot about leaving.

He didn't have to work, yet he could enjoy a comfortable life.

Almost anything he wanted, the Ministry of Magic would try its best to fulfill.

Such a life was something he had yearned for in his previous life.

Most importantly, in Azkaban, his system could exert its maximum effect, allowing his necromancer level to rise rapidly.

He was twenty-one this year and had been in Azkaban for nearly a year.

If Dumbledore hadn't invited him out, he estimated he would have stayed in Azkaban indefinitely.

However, staying cooped up indoors all the time wasn't ideal either.

This time, it was a good opportunity to be a professor for a while and meet a few people he wanted to see.

After all, this year was 1991!
