Aunt Gossip's eyes were almost popping out of her sockets as she looked at the conches that Han Ruochen had collected. "I knew that you were lucky, but I never thought that you were this lucky." As she spoke, she couldn't help but rub her hands on Han Ruochen's clothes. In the past, she used to save face, but now she no longer wanted to do that. As long as she could get her hands on some of Han Ruochen's luck, did it matter how she got it?
When Han Ruochen saw her actions, she did not know whether to laugh or cry. She simply came to catch some seafood, but why was she being treated like a lucky idol again?
Han Ruochen let the woman do what she wanted and then said to her, "Aunt, we are done scouting the area. If you want, then you can look around." She had left two conches on the shore; if Aunt Gossip was lucky, then she would be able to find them. After all, Han Ruochen was not a hoarder who wanted to keep all the good things for herself.
