Chapter 57 - 57

With all due respect, there's probably no one better than me at this," Tony Stark said gravely. "If even I can't build a robot like that, I can't imagine anyone else being able to."

"But the robot was built, wasn't it?" said Clint Barton.

"Then I'll leave it to S.H.I.E.L.D." Tony Stark said, "S.H.I.E.L.D. is the best at finding people. I'm waiting for your good news."

"Besides the robots, the man and woman accompanying them are also very noteworthy," Clint Barton said. "One of them possesses world-class speed, and the other can use magic. They should not be underestimated. It's unknown where they came from."

"Thor has already said that the woman is a magician," Phil Coulson said. "As for the man, I guess he's a mutant."

"Mutant?" It was the first time Thor heard this word.

Even Tony Stark and Clint Barton looked at Phil Coulson, and it was obvious that they had no idea about mutants.

"Simply put, they're people who develop special abilities due to genetic mutations," Phil Coulson explained. "I've only seen records of mutants in a top-secret file before, but this is the first time I've actually seen one."

"How could a genetic mutation produce the fastest speed in the world?" Tony Stark thought it was unscientific. "Genetic mutations are disordered and chaotic, and harmful mutations outnumber beneficial ones. How could it mutate like that?"

"It seems to be related to the X gene, but I don't know the details." Phil Coulson shook his head.

"I've recorded it. I'll give the footage to Nick Fury as soon as I get out," Tony Stark said. "If you have any questions, just ask them in person once you find them."

"As long as they are still on Earth, SHIELD will definitely find them," said Phil Coulson.

"There's nothing much to say about that speedster's abilities, he's just fast," Clint Barton said. "But that witch, don't you think there's some evidence of how she controls people's minds?"

"Are there any traces?"

"In her visions, Romanoff saw the Red Room, where she had been trained and where her deepest fears lay."

"Fear?" Tony Stark thought for two seconds and said, "The me in the video also seemed to be very frightened by the scene I saw in the illusion."

"It's not like it. Even a blind man could see the fear on your face," Clint Barton said. "The Battle of New York a year later, although we ultimately won, it still left a huge psychological trauma on you. In the illusion, the Chitauri army descended again, and the Avengers were completely destroyed. This is probably the fear deep in your heart."

"And what about the Captain?" Thor said, "Isn't the Captain afraid of dancing?"

"Absolutely not. Peggy Carter was the woman the Captain loved most, and also his regret," Phil Coulson said. "Before he died, the Captain promised to dance with Carter, but he never returned. The feeling after dancing with Carter wasn't fear, but longing."

"So this Scarlet Witch, can she make people see the fear or desire deep in their hearts?" Clint Barton concluded.

"That sounds worse than Loki's scepter," Phil Coulson said. "Fear or desire, both are enough to make people do crazy and even terrible things."

"So Scarlet Witch has to be on guard," Tony Stark said. "In addition to spirit cola, I will also study some other preventive measures, such as the arrows used by Barton in the video."

"Did you forget a name?" Thor reminded, "At the beginning of the video, the captain said a name."

"The captain said 'I found Strucker'.

"Phil Coulson remembered it very clearly,"The laboratory that Stark entered should be his."

"You didn't recite the information about this name as if you were memorizing it. Doesn't SHIELD know this person?" Tony Stark asked.

"Never heard of it," said Phil Coulson.

"No matter who this person is, he can get Loki's scepter, study the mechanical wreckage of the Chitauri, and has a magician and a mutant. This person is not simple." Clint Barton said.

"After I get out, I will look for him first."

"This shouldn't be difficult. After all, we already know the appearances of the witches and mutants under his command. If we find them, this Stark won't be far away."

"There's one more thing to note, and that's vibranium," Clint Barton said. "That robot needs vibranium."

"It said it was going to implement an evil plan," Thor said. "Is this evil plan related to vibranium?"

"There should be a connection," Phil Coulson said. "The Avengers and the robots fought in a factory, and there was a third party inside. The man with the missing arm was their boss. There were only a few Avengers, and the robots weren't many either. But the man with the missing arm had many armed men under his command. So it's reasonable to assume that the factory was the man's territory."

"Why would the Avengers and the robots fight on someone else's territory?" Clint Barton reasoned, following Phil Coulson's words. "Perhaps it's because when the Avengers discovered the robots, they were already there, on the territory of that man with the broken arm."

"Why did the robots go to the armless man's territory?" Clint Barton continued. "Considering Stark's question about why the robots needed vibranium, I think the robots were there because of vibranium! That armless man has vibranium in his hands!"

"That should be it," Phil Coulson recalled the details from the video. "When the man with the broken arm ordered to fire, he was in a very awkward position. It was obvious that he had fought and suffered a loss. And he did it before the Avengers showed up. The Avengers hadn't arrived yet, so he targeted the robots. Before the Avengers arrived, he fought with the robots and suffered a loss, so he ordered to shoot."

"I remember he attacked us too," Thor said. "If it was the robots that caused him to suffer, why did he attack us too?"

"There are many reasons for this. Maybe it's because the Avengers are fighting on his turf? Maybe he's suffered at the hands of the Avengers before. After all, the Avengers are there to uphold justice. If that man with the broken arm is a super villain, maybe the Avengers have dealt with him before."
