Chapter 53 - 53

Yes, and more than once!" Thor was very unhappy that Tony Stark doubted him so much, and said unhappily, "Do you want me to describe those battles to you?"

"That's not necessary, just be sure." Tony Stark said.

"So, Thor is the only choice for this question? Isn't that too obvious?" Phil Coulson still didn't dare to jump to conclusions. "If it were me, I wouldn't have that confidence, nor could I think of any way I could resist magic. But what about Barton and Romanoff? Are they both impossible?"

"I still have a chance." Clint Barton thought for a moment and said, "I'm not someone who will fall in the same place twice. If I fall in one place, I will study it and make sure I don't fall again next time. I was controlled by Loki once during the Battle of New York. It was a great humiliation, so I will definitely prepare for this situation to prevent it from happening again next time."

"No, Barton, you're assuming the Battle of New York took place before the Age of Ultron," Phil Coulson questioned immediately. "The question is, how do you determine this order? What if the Age of Ultron took place before the Battle of New York?"

"That's highly unlikely," Tony Stark analyzed. "Firstly, when Loki used his scepter to control Barton, he was completely defenseless. And if Age of Ultron came before, then he would have already experienced mind control during the Battle of New York. If Barton truly wouldn't fall twice in the same place as he said, he wouldn't be so defenseless against Loki."

"That's right, just as Stark said." Clint Barton continued Tony Stark's words, "I'm just an ordinary person who doesn't know magic. Whether I can defend myself against it is another matter, but as long as I experience it, I will definitely be able to deal with it. I won't be so indifferent and fall into it."

"Secondly, this is related to the previous question," Tony Stark continued. "From the previous question, we know that the Avengers weren't united at the beginning, and it was Coulson who brought them together. This process of disunity to unity only happens in the early stages of a team's formation. In other words, the Battle of New York was the first time the Avengers joined forces to fight a war. Since the Battle of New York was the first, then this Age of Ultron can only be ranked second at the earliest."

"So Age of Ultron does take place after the Battle of New York." Phil Coulson nodded, agreeing with Tony Stark's inference.

"I am only offering a possibility. For me, magic is an area I have never touched before. I cannot confidently say that the means I have prepared can resist the Scarlet Witch." Clint Barton said in a deep voice.

"So, in the end, Thor is the winner?" Tony Stark glanced at Thor. "Why do I feel so uneasy?"

"Stark, I've already told you that I can definitely resist this kind of mind control." Thor said speechlessly, "Can't you have a little more faith in me?"

"Thor, count how many times you've been slapped in the face?" Clint Barton couldn't help but complain, recalling Thor's experience answering questions. "Every time you swear with full confidence to something, the result is the opposite!"

"It's just a coincidence, a coincidence, understand?"

"Coincidence? Thor, would you like me to help you recall your 'brilliant resume' in answering questions?" Clint Barton actually started counting. "The first question asked who the weak god was. You were absolutely certain that the Hulk was no match for you, so the answer had to be you. And what happened? It was the Hulk!"

"The second question asks who would be tossed around by the Hulk like he did to Loki." Phil Coulson continued counting the second question. "Thor, you're so sure that Dr. Banner can't beat you, but what's the result? The answer is you!"

"You two guys,

That's all a coincidence! "Thor yelled, "And am I wrong? Dr. Banner is no match for me!"

"It seems to me that whatever Thor firmly believes in is generally wrong. It's almost become a law." Phil Coulson stroked his chin with his right hand. "How about calling it 'Thor's Law'?"

"Coulson!" Thor's face turned dark immediately.

"Then according to Thor's Law, Thor is now convinced again that he can resist mind control, so..." Clint Barton changed his mind on the spot, "So I changed my mind. I want to eliminate Thor and choose myself!"

"Barton!" Thor was so angry that his whole body was shaking. "You will regret this!"

"I choose D Clint Barton!" Clint Barton gave his answer.

Seeing Clint Barton so stubborn, Thor folded his arms and sneered: "Barton, your answer can only be wrong, just wait for your life span to be deducted..."

[Answer correctly! Rewards will be given!]

A mechanically synthesized voice sounded, cutting off Leitor's words and the smile on his face.

"Is this okay?" Tony Stark was stunned watching from the side.

"Yes! 'Thor's Law' really works!" Phil Coulson clenched his fists excitedly.

"As the discoverer of Thor's Law, I'm sincerely happy for you." Clint Barton gave Phil Coulson warm congratulations, "even though I was the one who answered the question."

"You two, that's enough..." The veins on Thor's forehead were throbbing.

"Thor, don't look so downcast. You deserve at least half the credit for this reward." Clint Barton picked up a bottle of Coca-Cola with packaging similar to that on the ground and waved it at Thor. "Coulson only invented this law, but you are the creator of this law. Do you want to drink it together?"

"No need!" Thor refused immediately and did not give Clint Barton a good look.

"This thing, I feel like it might be useful for big guys." Clint Barton picked up the Spirit Coke and took a look at it.

"It's a disaster for Bulk to be controlled by others." Phil Coulson also said, "This thing can prevent Dr. Banner from being controlled by others, but it should be of no use to Bulk himself."

"Stark, I won't drink this Coke for now. I'll give it to you to study and see if you can copy it." Clint Barton shook his hand and threw the Spirit Coke to Tony Stark.

"Don't get your hopes up. This isn't my area of expertise." Tony Stark took the Coke. "Maybe it's magic. Maybe I can't figure it out."

"We have to give it a try," Phil Coulson said. "There were four options for the question just now. The correct answer is Barton. Does that mean the other three options are all controlled by Scarlet Witch?"
