Chapter 120 - Chapter 120 – First Arrival at the Indigo Prefecture, Encountering the Four Divine Beasts’ Clan

Inside the metallic lifeform, a large group of people gathered together, chatting and laughing.

Everyone present was someone who had a good relationship with Sadius.

Lomio was quite surprised when he saw this large group of people who all hailed from the same plane.

He hadn't expected that Sadius had brought so many people from the Material Plane to Infernal Realm. Judging from this, it seemed Sadius had also been a top-tier powerhouse in the Material Plane.

To prevent Lomio from feeling like an outsider, Sadius introduced everyone one by one.

When they learned that Lomio was actually a peak Highgod-level powerhouse, everyone treated him with great courtesy.

"At the current speed of this metallic lifeform, it will still take two more years before we reach Indigo Prefecture. Everyone can take the time to rest well."

With so many people aboard, the metallic lifeform had expanded significantly.

With such a massive metallic lifeform, guarded by multiple Highgod-level experts, naturally no bandits would dare to attack Sadius and his group.

Two years later, the party finally entered the borders of Indigo Prefecture.

Their destination wasn't the Skyrite Mountains but Indigo City, the capital of the prefecture.

Beirut had long ago told Sadius that he was the Lord Prefect of Indigo Prefecture.

After all, Sadius was now also a top-tier expert amongst the Gods; Beirut no longer felt the need to continue testing him.

Moreover, Beirut's status wasn't exactly a secret in Infernal Realm. In most major cities, if you spent some money to make inquiries, you could easily find out.

While Sadius' group was flying towards Indigo Prefecture, a battle broke out not far away.

A group of Highgods were surrounding and attacking a metallic lifeform.

From within that metallic lifeform, several Highgods flew out as well.

Those Highgods instantly transformed into dragon forms, clashing against the other group of Highgods.

It was immediately clear—this was a battle between the Four Divine Beasts Clan and the Eight Great Clans.

Originally, Sadius had no intention of interfering.

But the Eight Great Clans' Highgods mistook Sadius' metallic lifeform for a Four Divine Beasts Clan ambush.

A few of them immediately flew over without a single word of explanation and directly launched an attack!

Sadius hadn't expected that the war between the Four Divine Beasts Clan and the Eight Great Clans was so intense that even passing Gods would get struck without warning.

Before the attacks could land on the metallic lifeform, Sadius and Lomio flew out together.

The two struck in Euniceon, effortlessly neutralizing the incoming assaults.

"Hmph! The Four Divine Beasts Clan even set up hidden experts? Luckily, we discovered them early, or those damned 'four worms' would have succeeded!"

Without another word, the group of Highgods again launched attacks—this time aimed at Sadius and Lomio.

But how could they possibly be a match for these two?

One wielded a blade, the other a sword, and they charged straight into the enemy ranks.

After just a single exchange, two Six-Star Fiends were instantly slain by their strikes.

Only then did the remaining Highgods realize—these two in front of them were at least Seven-Star Fiend-level figures!

Immediately, the two strongest Seven-Star Fiends among them rushed forward to engage.

Yet, as soon as they clashed, they realized something was terribly wrong.

These two sudden newcomers weren't just ordinary Seven-Star Fiends—they couldn't even withstand the most casual attacks!

Sadius might still technically be a Midgod, but he had long since gained complete mastery over fused divine power.

Coupled with the fact that he could kill a Six-Star Fiend in a single blow, no one would believe he was merely a Midgod.

"You two must be mercenaries invited by the Four Divine Beasts Clan, right? Do you truly insist on helping them?"

Sadius was baffled. What's wrong with this person's brain?

They were just passing by, yet they'd been mistaken for hired reinforcements of the Four Divine Beasts Clan.

Having read the original history, Sadius knew the Four Divine Beasts Clan had only themselves to blame for their current fate.

Back when the Four Divine Beasts were still alive, they relied on the fact that their ancestors were Sovereigns. They ran rampant across the Four Higher Planes and the Seven Divine Planes, committing countless atrocities.

No wonder the Eight Great Clans had come from all those planes to Infernal Realm, determined to wipe them out completely.

But that had nothing to do with Sadius.

This time, he was headed to Indigo Prefecture because he needed the Azure Dragon clan's help—to use the Dragon Pool to hatch the Azure Dragon egg, awakening its bloodline.

He also planned to let his two sons undergo the Dragon Pool awakening.

If so, Sadius would indeed owe the Four Divine Beasts Clan a favor, which he would repay.

But that was all for later.

Right now, it had nothing to do with him.

Yet the Eight Great Clans, without even asking for clarification, had directly attacked Sadius and his people.

It was their misfortune.

"Hmph! And what if I do help the Four Divine Beasts Clan? What can you do about it?"

Sadius directly unleashed the Amethyst Space.

A terrifying gravity field appeared, enveloping everyone within the Amethyst Space.

"Damn it, I can't move!"

In the very next instant, countless razor-sharp amethyst spikes shot out, dancing through the space.

Accelerated by the crushing gravity, the amethyst projectiles reached impossible speeds.

The weaker Six-Star Fiends couldn't even defend; they were all pierced through the head, falling instantly.

The two Seven-Star Fiends immediately realized they'd run into a hard wall.

Without hesitation, they unleashed their Sovereign's Might.

They knew—today they had encountered someone they couldn't handle otherwise.

Once they used Sovereign's Might, the two Seven-Star Fiends' power increased a hundredfold.

(Note: previously it was stated incorrectly; mismatched Sovereign's Might increases power a hundredfold, fully compatible Sovereign's Might increases it several hundredfold.)

The two of them forcibly tore open the Amethyst Space and flew out.

"Hmph! Forcing us to use Sovereign's Might? Today, you die!" they shouted menacingly.

"Lomio, can you handle this without using Sovereign's Might?"

Lomio was confident.

These days, after training and sparring with Sadius, he had gained many insights and improved greatly in strength.

Moreover, he was protected by a soul-defense artifact Sadius had given him. Coupled with his own powerful body, his defense was top-tier.

A Seven-Star Fiend who'd only gained a hundredfold boost from Sovereign's Might would serve nicely as a whetstone to hone himself.

Sadius and Lomio each faced one Seven-Star Fiend.

Neither of them used Sovereign's Might; they fought the enemies head-on.

Sadius gripped the Violet Blood God Sword, directly unleashing the Annihilation Sword Intent.

Even so, he only used half of its full power, otherwise the Violet Blood God Sword might not withstand the terrifying force of that sword strike.

Recently, Sadius had been constantly nurturing the Violet Blood God Sword with tri-element fused divine power, tempering it.

Once the nurturing was complete, the Violet Blood God Sword would be able to freely channel the Annihilation Sword Intent without limit.

Even just half of the Annihilation Sword Intent was still overwhelmingly domineering.

Even the attacks unleashed by a Seven-Star Fiend empowered by Sovereign's Might were shattered by Sadius' sword.

The two Seven-Star Fiends finally realized how dire the situation was.

They immediately sent secret transmissions to the other experts who were battling the Four Divine Beasts Clan members.

But with their numbers reduced, the Highgods fighting the Four Divine Beasts Clan were already losing ground.

On both battlefronts, the Eight Great Clans were falling into disadvantage.

Helplessly, the two forces decided to merge their battlefields, slowly drawing closer together.

Before long, the members of the Four Divine Beasts Clan finally caught sight of Sadius and Lomio.

Two completely unfamiliar Highgod experts.

They instantly understood—the Eight Great Clans had mistaken these two for reinforcements the Four Divine Beasts Clan had invited.

Still…these two were truly formidable. Their strength was actually comparable to the clan's own Shura Elders.

Faced with such powerhouses, the Four Divine Beasts Clan's Seven-Star Fiends did not dare act arrogantly.

"Many thanks for your aid, both of you. The Four Divine Beasts Clan is deeply grateful."
