Chapter 114 - Chapter 114 – Battle with Mo Si

When it came to Tarossa, Sadius had only casually chatted with him a few times back on the Yulan Continent. The two were not particularly close.

However, this fellow had a good relationship with Dylin. The two of them had sworn brotherhood back in the Yulan Continent.

Back then, when Sadius led Dylin and the others to Infernal Realm, this fellow arrived a little late and thus failed to travel to Infernal Realm together with them.

Sadius had originally thought that this fellow would also be transported to Mirror Moon Cliff, but he hadn't.

It wasn't until Tarossa appeared on Miluo Island that Sadius realized this fellow had instead been transported to the Starmist Sea's planar teleportation array.

In the original story, Tarossa had brought Dylin and his group to settle down on Miluo Island.

Because Tarossa and Dylin were both Divine Beasts and possessed innate divine abilities, they were among the strongest existences within their rank.

In the original plot, both of them had been controlled by soul seeds and turned into puppets of Miluo Island.

Tarossa's strength had even reached the level of a Highgod.

But now, because Tarossa had arrived in Infernal Realm several hundred years earlier than in the original plot, he was still only a Midgod.

Thus, he had become one of the island soldiers patrolling Miluo Island.

Since they were both from the Yulan Plane, and since Tarossa had a good relationship with Dylin, Sadius still decided to rescue him.

The group walked along the main street.

Dylin quickly went up and called out to Tarossa.

The others still didn't know what Sadius was planning next.

"Dylin! You've come to Miluo Island as well!" Tarossa, upon seeing Dylin, couldn't help but feel extremely happy.

Those who were controlled by soul seeds, aside from completely obeying their master's commands, appeared normal in all other aspects. They still retained their own thoughts and behavioral habits.

The two sworn brothers hurriedly embraced each other.

"Clio, all three of you brothers have already become Highgods! And Sadius, I always thought you had great talent back then. Now you've already become a Midgod. And these two are?"

"This is my teacher, Doehring Cowart. And this is Lomio, a friend I met in the Starmist Sea." Sadius explained.

Tarossa was the captain of this squad of island soldiers. He immediately told the other soldiers to continue their patrol, then pulled Dylin aside.

"Everyone, let me treat you to a meal. Miluo Island has plenty of delicious food."

"Tarossa, we just finished eating."

"Then let's stroll around the Free Castle on the island. There are lots of good things inside. Don't worry, it's my treat. I've saved up quite a few inkstones during my years as an island soldier."

"We've already toured it."

At this moment, Sadius spoke up.

"Tarossa, we're planning to leave Miluo Island and head to Blood Ridge Continent. Do you want to come with us?"

"Yeah, Tarossa, come with us to Blood Ridge Continent. It's better for everyone to stay together and watch each other's backs," Dylin said.

Tarossa froze for a moment.

"Everyone, I quite like it here. I've already regarded Miluo Island as my home in the Infernal Realm."

Dylin sighed. It seemed Tarossa intended to stay here permanently.

"Tarossa, if I'm not mistaken, you've been controlled by a soul seed by one of the divine experts proficient in soul control on Miluo Island, haven't you?" Sadius said bluntly.

Tarossa's expression immediately turned unnatural.

Dylin and the others were shocked on the spot.

"Sadius, what nonsense are you spouting? Life here on Miluo Island is comfortable. I don't have to live cautiously like when I first arrived in the Infernal Realm. And yet you accuse me of being controlled by someone's soul seed? If you weren't from the Yulan Plane as well, I'd definitely give you trouble for this today!" Tarossa immediately grew angry.

"My lord, are you mistaken? Tarossa doesn't look like someone who's been controlled at all!"

Among those present, perhaps only Sadius and Lomio truly understood soul seed control.

"It's fine. Once Lomio and I have dealt with this Miluo Island commander, you'll understand."

Sadius nodded at Lomio, and the two of them flew into the sky.

"Mo Si, come out and face me!"

Sadius' voice echoed throughout all of Miluo Island.

Someone daring to shout so arrogantly on Miluo Island immediately drew a squad of Highgod experts who flew up from below.

"Where did these reckless fools come from? Miluo Island is a critical stronghold. How dare you cause trouble here? Courting death!"

That group of Highgods immediately launched an attack.

Lomio gripped his Warblade, lightning crackling all around his body.

He shot forward like a bolt of lightning, his Warblade cleaving down and instantly killing one Highgod with a single strike. These Highgod-level Five Star Fiends were completely no match for Lomio.

Very quickly, the island's Highgod experts realized something was wrong.

Immediately, many Six Star and Seven Star Fiends flew up into the sky.

"I am Bakwill, Patriarch of the Bagshaw family. What are you trying to do? Do you intend to make enemies of my Bagshaw clan?"

"Your Bagshaw clan uses soul seeds to enslave divine experts and force them to serve you. This is true, is it not?" Sadius asked coldly.

"Utter nonsense! You reckless fool, how dare you slander my Bagshaw clan? You're looking for death!" Bakwill immediately led a large group of experts to attack Sadius and Lomio.

Sadius instantly activated his Amethyst Space.

A gigantic crystalline prison appeared. Many divine experts who were too close to Sadius were immediately trapped within one amethyst cage after another.

Bakwill quickly led several Seven Star Fiends to strike at the Amethyst Space, instantly tearing open a crack, allowing a group of Seven Star Fiends to escape.

But the numerous Six Star Fiends weren't so lucky.

Sadius' amethyst spikes quickly slaughtered that entire group of Six Star Fiends.

Bakwill frowned. What a terrifying technique. An entire group of Six Star Fiends just perished like that.

In truth, they simply didn't understand this technique. Had they not so rashly approached Sadius, they could've survived safely.

The remaining dozen or so Seven Star Fiends all kept their distance, staring vigilantly at Sadius and Lomio.

Sadius dismissed the Amethyst Space. That move was only meant to intimidate; it was still insufficient against true Seven Star Fiends.

"Hmph. Long-range attacks!"

More than ten Seven Star Fiends immediately unleashed their attacks.

Lomio stepped forward, without hesitation unleashing his ultimate move.

Countless bolts of lightning surrounded him. Heaven and Earth changed color. Lomio merged himself into the lightning, easily cutting down every enemy attack.

"I'll say it again. Mo Si, come out!"

His voice once more spread throughout all of Miluo Island.

Suddenly, in the distant ocean, a storm erupted without warning.

Soon, a lone expert flew over from the far horizon.

"Hmph. Two random nobodies dare to act arrogantly on my Miluo Island? One who's just stepped into the Shura level, and a Midgod with a mutated soul? If you seek death, I shall grant it to you."

Mo Si spoke coldly, his presence overwhelmingly terrifying.

Lomio's cultivation was instantly seen through.

As one of the most powerful beings below the level of a Great Perfection, Mo Si's strength was unfathomable.

In the original story, it was never described whether he possessed a Sovereign artifact, but the likelihood was very high.

Mo Si's body erupted with death-type divine power, surging towards the two of them with killing intent.

"Lomio, use the power of the Sovereign directly," Sadius sent a mental message.

After Lomio began following him, Sadius had already given him a few drops of Sovereign's Might.

Against a Shura-level powerhouse, only by using Sovereign's Might could one maximize their combat strength.
