Yuji was laying down on his hospital bed when his eyes started to open, he had his chest crossed with bandsges. As he woke up, the first thing he saw was the white ceiling "Ahh. What...? Where am I?", he asked himself. Yuji sat straight and looked around from left to right, he looked at the window and saw the calm morning around him "Morning? It's morning already? Didn't we go on a mission to the city of pillars? Why am I back at the city?", he asked himself. Yuji made attempt to shift his body so that he could stand up, but the moment he did, a sharp pain crossed his chest "AHHAG!", he groaned in pain and gripped his chest. While in pain, he asked himself "Huh...?! My chest.... it hurts...". Yuji then remembered how he got shot on the chest by Rexus while having a mental crisis "Fuck... I got shot! No wonder it hurts. What kind of bullet was that?". He took a deep breath in and out "Whatever, I'll just relax my chest a bit and make sure I don't do anything rash.", he took a look at his hands and couldn't help but to feel depressed ".....My entire body hurts!", he muttered to himself. As for Kito, he was already awake, he still had a tired look on his face. His jaws, hands and nose were covered with bandages, he rubbed his eyes and looked around "How long have I been asleep?", the boy asked himself. The memories of his fight with Rexus crossed his mind, how he kept launching elemental attacks as well as how he lost his mind. Kito clicked his tounge "Tch! So we survived huh?", he also remembered the display of power Reggie showcased in order to deflect the bomb that had fallen on them. After recalling all those memories, Kito just took a sigh, he was annoyed at the moment "I'm not even going to question it, I'm just happy I'm alive.". As soon as he tried getting up from the bed, a dark feeling dropped on his body, Kito's eyes widened with shock "...!", he was speechless, the boy immediately dropped face flat to the ground like as if gravity had just increased for him "AAAHHHGAHAH!", he groaned in pain. He continued to groan while trying to stand up "GAHAG! What the.....FUUUUCK! I CANT FUCKING STAND!", he growled with anger. Kito struggled to stand up as he walked all the way to the window in pain to get some air. The boy went to the open window and inhaled all the air he could possibly get into his system "AHHHH!", he took a deep breath in and out as soon as he was able to breath some air. Kito started to huff and puff "What the hell's happened to my body?!", he asked himself. At Baroka's end, he sat on the side of his hospital bed while looking at his arms, his hands were bandaged, as well as his nose. Baroka looked at his arms for a moment, he tried raising them up but immediately felt a shock that spiked all over his body "GHNA!", he groaned "Damn it! My arms hurt. What the hell?!". Baroka remembered how he forced himself to get up during the fight he and his friends had against Rexus on their mission. After recalling that fight, he had a saddened look on his face, his head was faced down with his hair down as well "What else did you expect me to do? My friend were fighting for their lives, and I was just laying on the ground. I couldn't just lay down on the floor and watch them get killed.....". He remembered how Kito was trying to save Kazuma's life by pulling out the nail that had stabbed him through his abdomen "If I had just layed on the floor like that, Kito wouldn't have had enough time to heal Kazuma. Both of them would have been dead if I didn't do anything. Guess it had to be done.". Baroka got off from his bed, put on his shirt and stepped out of the hospital room "I'm just happy I'm alive.", he said. As for White, he was already putting on his clothes, his body was filled with patches and bandages, but all that didn't matter to him at all, it was almost like as if nothing had happened. He thought to himself "I don't know how I'm alive, nor do I know how i was able to get back to the city. All I know is that I'm still here....", he looked at the window and noticed the clear blue sky "Judging from the calendar, it's probably been a week or two since that mission.". White looked at the clock "11:04, huh. Makes sense.", he did a few air boxing and kicks and then just walked out of the hospital room. As for Volt, he just layed on the hospital bed, eyes opened and his arms spread apart. He had a straight look on his face "..... I can't move.", he muttered, regardless, Volt was able to sit straight. He rubbed his palm on his face and just stood up from bed, he then noticed that his hands seemed to have slightly changed colour. His left arm was bandage along side both his legs, he looked at his right arm and saw that some of his veins had slightly popped out and changed colour, they were all blue. Volt took a look at his hand for a moment before shrugging it off, dusting his dark shirt, put on his jeans, wore his short sleeved blue jacket and just walked out of the room. As Kazuma walked across the hospital passage, be asked himself "Are the rest of us okay? Did anyone of us die? How injured are we? And... Where's Ariyo's bod-?", Kazuma's head tilted to the left with a stunned and saddened look on his face. He saw Ariyo's body being drawn out of a freezer and being placed on a desk. He watched as the doctors covered his dead house master with a white blanket from head to toe. Kazuma couldn't help but to look and feel sad with a tear almost dropping from his left eye. As all the boys came out of the passage, they all looked at one another covered with bandages. Each and everyone of them stared at each other with saddened and disappointed looks on their faces, especially Kazuma. Kazuma looked at all his friends like he wanted to cry, not from seeing them alive and well, but because he saw something that genuinely made him want to break down. His finger was pointed to the glass infront of him. No words needed to be said, Volt, Yuji, White, Kito and Baroka all understood their current situations just by looking at each other. They have never felt any sadder than this before.
