About 2 weeks had passed since Kazuma and the rest of his friends were sent to the city of pillars for their mission. Not just that, but in the mist of that two weeks, the city of Kagahara had enough time to rebuild itself, it was almost like as if the invasion of the Knight Kingdom didn't even happen at all. In the hospital, the kids layed unconcious in different wards. Kazuma, Yuji, Kito, Baroka, White and Volt where in separate wards. The girls consisting of Mio, Regina, Yuki, Gwen, Marallda, Lydia and Racheal were also in separate wards. The team leaders consisting of Ranpo, Reggie, Suzuha, Lerion, Laria and Ralfold sat together in an hospital room. Non of them said a word at all, Ralfold had badages on his arms and his left cheek, Ranpo only hand a bandage on one hand along with an ice pack on his laps. As for Lerion, his palms were bandaged as well due to the burns he had suffered from the fight he had with Ukina. Suzuha had a bandage wrapped around her head as well after being blasted on the head, she took some serious head injuries. As for the remaining two being Laria and Reggie, non of them suffered anything critical. Although, Laria did endure a stab on the abdomen while Reggie just seemed tired. Suddenly, a female doctor came in "Good morning....", she greeted and introduced herself "I'm the head doctor of this hospital. My name is Brenda Careheart. I'm here to give you all important information about your students well being.". Brenda wore a lab coat with green glasses, she also had brown eyes and brown hair with a green cardigan inside her lab coat. Reggie asked "Are they're situation that bad?", he asked, Brenda replied "Yeah, it was that bad. But, throughout the two weeks of constant operation, we've been able to give them the proper treatments necessary.". Laria took a sigh "Thank God.", Ranpo had a straight face on, he asked a simple question "So? How are they?". Brenda explained "Well, I don't want to scatter the information of their well being around, so I'll start with the boys first.", she looked at the team leaders and explained "You see, the boys sustained intense injuries.". She continued to explain as she looked at her chart "First of, we'll start with Volt Lightdevil. He sustained huge internal injuries that had to do with burns. Due to his ability to generate electricity, he ended up drying up some of the blood flow in his body, it was most definitely due to the over use of his powers. His veins were burnt out, and his muscles were also burned and became stiff as a result. But fortunately, we were able to relax his muscles and cool them off.". Ralfold looked at Brenda for a moment before glancing away, Reggie then asked "Okay? What of the other boys?", Brenda replied "I'm getting to that.". She explained "The next on the list is Baroka. If I'm not mistaken, he has the ability to create rocks cloacked with energy, and he also has incredible physical strength as well. You see, Baroka's limbs, mainly his arms, were so overused to the point that they almost weren't working anymore. He seemed to have forced out all the strength he had left in his body, especially his arms. Not just that, he more than likely fought someone who forced all that strength out of him. I'm surprised both his arms still had life in them.". Reggie looked at her and asked "Would he be able to get those arms to proper use again?", Brenda replied "Yes, he should.". She continued "As for Kito Kusekabe, he too used way too much power out of himself. His stamina was more than depleted. Not just that, but his mental health seemed to be abnormal, especially when treating him. No matter what we did in the operating room, all he did was cackle dryly although. We even made him take almost twice the sleeping gas necessary to make a patient numb, but he continued to cackle. The skin of his jaws were stitched back, they most likely tore open due to force.". Reggie thought to himself "He most likely went mentally deranged to the point he laughed so hard that his jaw skin tore off. Knowing him, that's normal.", he asked Brenda "Is that all concerning him?". Brenda explained "Well like I said, he seemed to have used almost all his bodies stamina, so he might have to move with a walking stick for support now. He also damaged his jaws, causing them to become stiff, but that was something we fixed.". She flipped to the next page of her chart "Aside from Kito and Baroka, we have White BrightStar.", hearing White's name caught Lerion's attention "What about him?", he asked. Brenda explained "Well, White didn't sustain too much injuries. Infact, he was pretty easy to deal with. It's just that his body is a bit tired, he used his muscles a little too much, but it isn't that bad if you're comparing it to the last two. All he needs is just some rest, although he did have a crack on his face bone.". She looked at the chart again and said "Well, aside from those four boys, the only two who took concerning damage were Yuji Takanoguro and Kazuma Starion...". Ranpo kept quiet, his expression was cold and unreadable. Brenda explained "Starting with Yuji, he had a hole punctured in his heart. It was most definitely a bullet that shot through him, given the shape of the hole we saw. When we tried to treat him, we saw a bandage around the area he was shot at. It was probably one of his teammates that helped him with his wound. In short he could have died. He also had an injury to the back of his rib cage and spine, but they aren't critical....". Her expression became saddened "But as for Kazuma..... he took the worst injuries out of all five of his friends.". Brenda explained the situation "His stamina is lowerer than that of Kito's . He took three skull injuries. Two of his ribs were broken. His lower intestine took minor damage. The muscles of his arms were injured badly. And his left arm.... it's not in a good condition. It seemed to have endured powerful burns, probably due to either holding off an attack stronger than he could handle, or he generated too much energy for that hand to handle. To make things worse, his hand almost got split in two. And as for his voice box, it's terribly injured.". Brenda closed her chart and said to them "That's all for the boys.". Ranpo still had a cold look on his face "I see.", he said. Brenda brought out another chart "Now for the girls.".
