Lightning exploded beneath his feet as Ethan shot forward. The ground cracked as his boots pushed off with violent force. He swung his sword in a wide arc, his arms steady and firm, drew a crescent of arc that casted a fire tore through the earth, ripping forward toward the beast and carving a burning path behind it.
The Wyvern King reacted instantly.
It slammed its massive claws down.
The impact was devastating. A wall of compressed wind erupted outward, smashing
Ethan's flame slash apart like fragile glass. The force sent dirt, broken stone, and massive boulders flying in every direction. Ethan twisted his body midair, forcing his muscles to obey as he narrowly avoided being crushed by spinning debris. A boulder grazed past his shoulder and shattered behind him.
