"Shh… don't scream," Julia whispered and placed her finger gently on his lips. Her face was slightly red, and her eyes trembled with shyness and nervousness.
Ethan looked around quickly and then closed the door as Julia staggered in.
A strong pungent smell emerged from her.
'She drank but didn't use her realm to suppress it.'
He stared at her with mixed confusion and concern.
"Do you need something?" he asked.
"Of course. I'm here for an important reason," she replied softly.
"And that is?" Ethan asked, curious and cautious.
"Th...." Julia's lips trembled as she tried to speak, but no words came out properly. Her throat felt dry and tight, and her voice refused to obey her.
All the tricks and tips her mother had taught her felt like they were suddenly flushed out of her mind. It was as if someone had wiped her thoughts clean. Her head felt light, and she even swayed slightly, feeling dizzy while trying to decide what to say.
