Cold Open — Orders from the Guild
The memories come in rapid-fire fragments.
The Sky Tyrant Dragon's molten eyes. Xavier's blade catching the light of its breath. The moment lightning surged across his body, pushing him past his limits.
HUD FLASH:
LEVEL UP! 7 → 9
Passive Skill Gained: Primal Instinct (Lv.1)
His eyes flash gold in the memory — pupils slit like a predator.
The memory shatters. Reality returns.
INT. GUILD WAR ROOM — NIGHT
The Guild's war room is a fortress of steel and light. Maps and holographic screens hang in midair, all glowing with mana-fed projections. A storm churns outside the panoramic windows.
The Guild Master slams his hands on the central table. The holographic map flares to life, a red zone pulsing in the middle of the Badlands.
Guild Master:
"The dragon doesn't just burn cities. It commands armies. Armies led by lieutenants — monsters strong enough to rally hundreds of beasts. We've located one."
He stabs a finger at the glowing mark.
"Kill it before it gathers more forces. Or this city won't see the next moonrise."
Kai leans against the wall, a lazy grin spreading across his face.
Kai:
"Finally… a real warm-up."
Xavier glances sideways.
"Warm-up for what?"
Kai:
"For killing your big lizard friend."
The lights flicker. The hologram collapses into black.
Deep, pounding taiko drums kick in.
Act 1 — Into the Badlands
EXT. BLACK SCAR — DAY
The Badlands stretch forever — a scar in the earth left by ancient wars. Jagged cliffs rise like broken teeth, deep gouges in the ground still glowing faintly from old battle magic. The air smells of scorched stone and iron.
Xavier crouches low, Beast Sense active. His HUD flares with faint mana pings.
HUD:
Multiple faint mana signatures detected.
Xavier:
"They're guarding something."
Kai steps over a cracked boulder, smirking without looking back.
Kai:
"Or someone."
Above them, dragonspawn circle in slow spirals, their screeches echoing like vultures over a corpse.
Xavier feels the air pressure drop. The hairs on his arms stand up.
Act 2 — The Lieutenant Appears
The ground rumbles — a low growl from the planet itself. Cracks race across the earth, glowing with molten light.
BOOM! — The ground erupts. Lava shards spray in all directions, hissing against the stone.
From the molten fissure rises the Inferno Basilisk. Thirty feet of muscle, scale, and dripping magma. Its head is crowned with jagged black horns, eyes like burning coals from the underworld. Each exhale is a plume of sulfur and ash.
HUD SCAN:
Threat Level: 40 — Fatal if unprepared.
Kai:
"I call the head!"
Xavier:
"Not without me."
The Basilisk uncoils, the ground cracking under its weight.
Act 3 — Tag-Team Shōnen Battle
Basilisk:
"ROAAAAARRRR!"
The sound is so deep it rattles the ribs. A torrent of molten fire surges from its fanged maw, turning rock to glass in an instant.
Xavier doesn't hesitate.
Volt Breaker Overdrive — lightning races across his limbs, leaving scorched footprints as he dashes along jagged rock spires. Each leap is punctuated by an explosive crack of thunder.
Kai moves differently — fluid, precise. His twin blades deflect falling debris as he dances through the heat haze, each motion conserving energy until the perfect strike.
Xavier's HUD pings.
HUD:
Weak points detected — glowing mana nodes along the spine.
Xavier:
"I'll open the path — you finish it!"
Primal Instinct ignites. His pupils narrow, and the world sharpens into perfect clarity. He doesn't think — he moves. Claws of lightning tear through the Basilisk's scale plates, exposing glowing cracks of flesh beneath.
Kai sees his moment. He plants a boot on Xavier's back and launches into the air — flipping once before landing above the Basilisk's head.
SFX: SHHHK! — Both blades plunge deep into its skull.
The beast convulses violently, molten blood spraying in arcs that hiss against stone. Its roar turns into a rattling death rattle before its massive frame collapses, shaking the earth.
Act 4 — Victory & Rank Up
The battlefield is silent except for the sizzle of cooling magma.
HUD:
LEVEL UP! 9 → 10
NEW TAG SKILL UNLOCKED — CROSS FANG ASSAULT (Lv.1)
(A synchronized strike with Kai that amplifies both Hunters' power.)
Kai wipes magma off his cheek with the back of his glove.
Kai:
"We should do this more often."
Xavier:
"Don't get used to it."
They begin the long walk back through the Badlands, the air still thick with the stench of sulfur and death.
Ending Cliffhanger
INT. GUILD WAR ROOM — NIGHT
The Guild Master watches from the shadows as reports scroll across the holo-screen. His face is carved from stone.
Guild Master:
"You've killed one lieutenant… but the dragon has six."
CUT TO:
A cavernous stone hall lit only by torches. The Cloaked Hunter kneels before six colossal shadows — each one monstrous, each one radiating power like a storm about to break.
Cloaked Hunter (low, amused):
"Let's see if the boy can survive all of us."
SMASH CUT:
Xavier sits alone in darkness, sharpening his blade. Sparks leap with each stroke.
Xavier (whispering):
"Bring them."
