Chaos fills the streets as a bunch of men from the outer circle flood into the streets of the inner circle, fighting the guards and noblemen. Crill leads them, telling them to charge, saying that they must end the slavery of this city and the injustice.
Guards keep clashing with the men from the outer circle as they slash and fight. Many men are being killed, and many guards are being dispatched to deal with them. It is total chaos. Yaku arrives at the scene, followed by Geo and Narbo.
"What the hell is going on? Where is Emilia?" Yaku says while looking around. He sees Crill, the slave he saved, standing tall and raising his sword against the noblemen and their guards as he screams words of encouragement to the men that joined his fight. Yaku can't help but smile in a proud way, seeing that the man he saved is doing something he himself was scared to do.
Then Yaku hears guards saying, "We must kill the girl healing all of these slaves first," and he immediately knows they are talking about Emilia. He starts looking around, being pushed around by men fighting, his legs barely standing from the shock he received earlier. He breathes heavily, trying to look beyond the smoke, trying to find Emilia.
Then he notices a faint green light for a second and heads towards it immediately. As the smoke clears, he sees her healing an injured man. She looks tired, almost at her limit from healing so many people. A guard finds her and jumps at her with his sword, screaming "DIE," but Yaku blocks his sword and knocks him out with a hit to the back of his neck.
He falls to one knee and starts talking to Emilia, but she doesn't respond. Her ears are ringing and her vision is blurry, and as soon as she finishes healing the man that was lying down, she closes her eyes and falls forward. Yaku catches her in his arms, her head resting on his shoulder as dust blows through her hair.
He puts his hand on the back of her head and whispers, "Let's get you out of here." He picks her up and holds her tightly to his chest as he starts to run, dodging guards left and right as chaos surrounds him. Emilia sleeps peacefully in his arms as he runs and jumps above men, dodging them with grace so Emilia doesn't get too disturbed.
Geo and Narbo are standing outside of the fight as neutral parties, just looking around, trying to see where Yaku went. Suddenly, he jumps out of the dusty fog holding a woman in his arms.
"Who is this?" Narbo asked, exhausted Yaku.
"I don't have time to explain, we need to get her to a safe place!" Yaku screamed.
Geo asked Yaku to give her to him to take her to the academy to heal her, since Yaku was almost at his physical limit. He had no choice but to trust Geo with her.
"Take her to the academy and make sure to hide her, please," Yaku said, asking them to leave without him.
He knew he had to find Crill and make sure he didn't die. Geo and Narbo left without him, and he entered the battlefield again looking for Crill. Crill was fighting two men, and a guard was about to slash him from the back, but Yaku saved him and helped him fight the guards off.
"Yaku, I didn't want us to meet like this. I wanted us to meet as equals. You taught me that freedom cannot be obtained without a fight!" Crill screamed as they were back to back, fighting off guards left and right.
"Can you do this? Did you think about the consequences of this, Crill?" Yaku asked while taking very fast breaths due to exhaustion.
"It's either I die as a slave or die fighting for my right," Crill stated with an iron will, giving Yaku shivers all over his body.
"DOTH IS COMING, ONLY 2 MINUTES UNTIL HE ARRIVES!" a guard screamed.
Panic immediately sets in for everyone, even the guards. "Crill, this is a losing battle, order everyone to stand back!" Yaku screamed at him.
With sweat rolling down his forehead, his sword covered in blood, "FUCK," Crill blurted.
"Everyone, stand back! Everyone fall back! We can't fight Doth!" Crill shouted, and then everyone started running for their lives, scattering into the outer layer where finding them would be increasingly difficult.
Yaku went with Crill into the outer circle as it was impossible to head to the academy currently.
