Chapter 200 - Chapter 200 Don't You Want To?

Su Qing sat upright on the sofa, holding a small cup of hot water.

The girl was at a loss for words. She pursed her lips, looking at the boy's dripping wetness. "Jiang Sui, do you want me to blow dry your hair?"

Su Qing's voice was soft and coquettish, and it made the boy's heart skip a beat.

She sipped the water in small sips. As she spoke, shy, she didn't dare look directly at Jiang Sui.

"Okay."

The boy's downcast eyes, already brighter since Su Qing's arrival, were now even brighter, a feeling hidden within them: joy.

"Where's the hair dryer? I'll get it."

Placing the water cup on the table, Su Qing made a move to get the hair dryer, but Jiang Sui held her finger.

'I'll go. Just wait a minute and drink some water.'

The girl was a little hot, with a small pimple at the corner of her mouth. Su Qing pursed her lips and muttered, 'Okay.'

'It wasn't hard to tell that Jiang Sui looked different today than usual.

She had a feeling he was preoccupied.

After getting the hair dryer, Su Qing took it and pointed to the balcony. 'Let's go over there. It's too noisy otherwise.

Perhaps because the adult was around, she was naturally hesitant.

Seeing Su Qing's awkwardness, Jiang Sui pursed his lips and smiled, reaching out to touch Su Qing's head. Su Qing lowered her head, her face flushed with shyness.

"Jiang Sui, is Doctor Mei here in Wuzhen to see Uncle Pei?"

Pei Dai wasn't actually that old, but Jiang Sui's way of addressing Doctor Mei seemed to dictate "Auntie." So, when they spoke last time, Pei Dai had proactively asked both children to call him "Uncle."

Jiang Sui was stunned for a moment, then nodded.

A gentle breeze and fingertips caressed Jiang Sui's wet hair. The young man lay on the chaise longue, his expression languid, his eyes open, following the girl's lead.

Su Qing felt a little embarrassed.

"Jiang Sui, could you please stop staring at me like that?"

She felt a little shy.

Jiang Sui pursed his lips. "What if I want to see you?"

"The adult is here, and Dr. Mei is still here."

"So, is it okay if Auntie is gone?"

Jiang Sui stared at Su Qing with every word. Su Qing curled her fingertips.

She put away the hair dryer, and it was almost dry. The boy was truly handsome, with fair skin, every inch of it as if meticulously sculpted by nature.

"Jiang Sui..."

She turned her head away, trying to put the hairdryer on.

Her fingers were held tight. "Okay, no tease you. I'll go put the hairdryer on and see if Auntie has heated up the food. Afterward, let's go to the playground, okay?"

The boy's features were gentle as he looked at Su Qing. Su Qing nodded, bewitched, and said yes.

When Jiang Sui reached the kitchen, Mei Yeqin was dazed by the stove, her eyes faraway.

"Auntie, thank you."

Mei Yeqin knew what he was talking about. "Ah Sui, then..."

Mei Yeqin ultimately didn't say whether she should tell Su Qing or not.

She changed the subject, "I prescribed some medicine for you. Can you take it for a while? I've put it in the vitamin bottle on the coffee table."

Jiang Sui nodded, a rare gesture.

"Okay."

His expression made Mei Yeqin even more worried.

Taking the medicine wasn't the solution; the ultimate goal was to resolve his emotional issues.

Su Qing ate very little during the meal, having already eaten at home earlier in the day. But to keep Jiang Sui company, she ate a small bowl of porridge.

"You two eat too little. You're too thin. Eat more."

Su Qing was stunned to see Mei Yeqin placing a small steamed bun in her bowl with serving chopsticks.

Looking at Jiang Sui, who had already eaten a tray of buns, he also had one in his bowl. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Auntie, she can't eat that much. Qing Qing usually eats before she goes out in the morning."

Jiang Sui took the bun from the girl's bowl and placed it in his own mouth.

His obsession with cleanliness was so easily broken.

Mei Yeqin looked at Su Qing, a little surprised. "I'm sorry, Su Qing, I didn't know you'd already eaten."

Su Qing shook her head. "It's okay, Doctor Mei. I can eat a little longer with you all."

Then she nudged Jiang Sui lightly with her elbow. Jiang Sui dismissed her, "Qing Qing, stop calling Doctor Mei, from now on call Auntie together with me."

Su Qing's face flushed.

Mei Yeqin was also stunned, but her happiness and satisfaction were obvious. "Okay, calling me Doctor Mei is too formal. Just call me Auntie."

Su Qing didn't really know how to interact with adults, and her reserved young man saw it. "I'm going to marry you sooner or later, so it doesn't matter when you call."

...

Su Qing was stunned.

She hadn't expected Jiang Sui to say something so explosive so early in the morning.

Stupefied, not knowing what to do, she pinched her fingers helplessly, "Don't talk nonsense..."

"I'm talking nonsense?"

"So you don't want to?"

Su Qing…

She wasn't unwilling, but how could she say it? Su Qing's brows knitted together, her face agonizing.

Mei Yeqin went from stunned to stunned, then dazed. She looked at Su Qing, then at Jiang Sui.

"Ah Sui, Qing Qing, I'm done. You two should wash the dishes and clean up. Pei Dai wants to see me, so I'm leaving now..."

As a courtesy, Mei Yeqin vanished from the room at top speed.

She left in such haste that only the soft sound of the door closing remained.

In the world of young people, this topic had been brought up so early. Mei Yeqin somewhat avoided the subject, feeling she was truly old and overwhelmed by the generation gap.

Inside the dining hall, Su Qing put down her bowl and chopsticks, her face flushed. "Jiang Sui, why do you keep talking nonsense?"

She felt as if Jiang Sui was desperate to prove something today.

She felt embarrassed by his stare.

Jiang Sui held Su Qing's finger.

"Qing Qing, aren't you willing?"

He was so earnest, so devout. What age was he? Su Qing's heart leaped into her throat, ready to burst.

"We, we Jiang Sui, we're not enough age..."

After a long pause, Su Qing replied in a formal tone.

Jiang Sui frowned. "Then I will wait you enough age."

...

Su Qing pursed her lips and muttered quietly, "You're not enough age too..."

"Qing Qing, are you scolding me in your heart?"

Su Qing was startled and quickly shook her head. "No, why would I scold you?"

"That's good. If you were, I'd be happy too. I want all your joys, sorrows, anger, and happiness to be about me."

The boy squeezed her soft palm and said something that made her blush and her heart skip a beat.

Just saying it, the boy frowned slightly. "Haiz, never mind. Qing Qing, I hope you'll always be happy. Even if there no sadness, I won't give you sadness."
