Chapter 179 - Chapter 179 Precious Time 5

When asked by Jiang Sui, Su Qing nodded subconsciously.

The young man's heart was now filled with a bittersweet feeling, yet also a touch of joy.

It turned out that she had considered them. The words "them" made Jiang Sui's eyes sparkle with brilliant fireworks.

"No."

"Our ending will be good one."

Promises are the most ethereal of things, but those eyes were so bright that what Jiang Sui said wasn't a promise, but his obsession with her.

Su Qing stared blankly at Jiang Sui. "Really?"

She looked so docile and well-behaved, a sight rarely seen. Jiang Sui's heart softened. He stroked Su Qing's head with his broad hand and nodded.

"Of course."

"I'm here. You don't have to worry about anything."

He wiped the tears from Su Qing's eyes and brows with a wet wipe, gently wiping them away.

Su Qing felt a little embarrassed and wanted to move away, but her movements were no match for Jiang Sui's, so she gave up.

Through the boy's light, she could see the sky was a bit gray outside. "Jiang Sui, let's go shopping."

Staying home all day wasn't a good idea. Besides, Su Qing looked out the window at the weather and thought about what she'd said yesterday about taking Jiang Sui shopping for clothes. She'd already packed the money.

It was almost afternoon by then.

The boy naturally had no objection to her decision about where to go. He nodded, "Then wait while I change."

The boy tossed the tissue into the trash can and headed back to the bedroom.

Su Qing's heart was still pounding. Thinking back to what happened that morning, it would be a lie to say she wasn't embarrassed or afraid.

After a while, Jiang Sui emerged from the bedroom.

He was truly handsome, looking good in any outfit. Su Qing had seen this tweed jacket before; it was in the boy's wardrobe. The black color complemented his aura, creating a cool and alluring look that was impossible to look away from.

His skin seemed even fairer than a girl.

Su Qing pouted, grasping her wrist. The boy helped her put on the jacket. Su Qing was wearing a thin down jacket, a bit worn and faded.

But it was still very warm. Su Qing was stunned and wanted to put it on herself, but the boy was quicker than her.

"Be good, put on your hat, scarf, and gloves."

In the hallway, the young man pulled a pink bag from the closet compartment. Inside was a collection of pink items: a hat, a scarf, and gloves.

"No need... winter has only just begun."

Su Qing waved her hand. Although the weather outside was gloomy, she had just checked her phone and knew the temperature wasn't that low, so there was no need to bundle up so tightly.

But the young man couldn't help but say, "It's cold outside. You're wearing too little."

He covered her face with everything, making her palm-sized face even smaller. Su Qing felt like a clumsy penguin.

"I'm still wearing my down jacket. Yours is thinner than mine."

Su Qing blinked, a rare attempt at quibbling. The boy's wardrobe didn't have that many clothes. What was there seemed to be new, unopened women's clothing. She had seen some when he'd carried the blanket out for her last time, but she'd just pretended not to notice.

Back then, their relationship wasn't as close as it is now. How could he have done that and bought so many things for her?

She'd just happened to see them in her own size.

"Yes, thin."

Su Qing hadn't expected Jiang Sui to admit it. Just as she was about to say something, she heard the boy say, "Qing Qing, buy me some when we go out."

"Okay."

Su Qing was stunned for a moment, pursing her lips. She had been meaning to buy it for him, but now that the young man had said it, she felt a little embarrassed.

The two of them took a taxi.

When they arrived at the plaza below the mall...

The sky suddenly brightened, and then a soft, gentle snowflake began to fall.

The white, glistening flakes drifted scattered in the wind. The weather forecast had predicted snow last night, but it was too late, so no one saw it.

The falling snow brought a moment of quiet to the bustling plaza.

"It's snowing, Jiang Sui."

A faint smile graced the girl's eyes, illuminating her entire face, captivating her heart.

This was what Jiang Sui wanted to protect. He nodded, looking down at Su Qing. "Do you like snowy days?"

He didn't really know her that well, but he cherished her like a treasure, a precious sweetheart.

Su Qing nodded, her face a little chilled by the wind, flushed from the cold. "I like it. The snow is so white, so peaceful, Jiang Sui. I love this peaceful feeling. It's like I'm all alone in the world."

A pure world—that's what the girl loved.

Alone, Jiang Sui's brows curved slightly with emotion, but he hide it well. At that moment, he heard something that sent him reeling.

"It's different now. Now it feels like you and I are the only ones in this world."

One second of hell, the next of heaven—perhaps that's how it is. Jiang Sui felt his heart, which had been chilled and desolate for a moment, suddenly come alive, infused with warmth, its heart pounding uncontrollably.

In that moment, inside the vast square, everything seemed to stop. Time stood still, even the drifting snowflakes ceased to fall.

Spreading around, Jiang Sui's lips curled into a smile, a truly captivating one.

As Su Qing looked up at Jiang Sui, she heard a burning voice.

"Qing Qing, I want to kiss you, is that okay?"

He was asking her permission. The boy's eyes were half-lidded, and within those pupils, a tiny being resided.

Stupidly, Su Qing nodded, as if possessed by some unknown force.

The boy crossed his arms, opened his coat, and enveloped Su Qing in it.

He lowered his head and gently kissed her.

This moment was brilliant.

Amidst the silence, only the frantic beating of two hearts could be heard.

It didn't last long.

Su Qing's eyes were misty, and her cheeks flushed even more.

She finally realized what was happening and lowered her head in embarrassment. "Jiang Sui, don't do this out in public anymore."

He was so handsome, she'd been bewitched. Su Qing didn't know why she was so obedient.

At that moment, it felt like a cat's claw, not sharp, but weak, scratching the person who was causing the most confusion.

"Okay."

The boy chuckled softly, the vibration on his chest causing Su Qing to reach out and gently smack him.

"Stop laughing!"

In a fierce voice...
