Chapter 102 - That Doctor Strange, Can He Actually Fight a Dimensional Demon Alone?

I have to say, Hydra's actions were actually quite swift.

Originally, Tony Stark planned to find all the evidence related to Hydra and then hand it over to S.H.I.E.L.D. to handle, in order to deal the biggest blow to Hydra.

Although the Winter Soldier was indeed the assassin who killed his parents, the Winter Soldier was just a pawn, a killing tool.

Strictly speaking, the real mastermind behind the killing of the playboy's parents was actually Hydra.

Now that he had already broken into this secret Hydra base, how could Tony Stark miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and do nothing? It was just a bit of a pity that Hydra's actions were still quite swift, destroying everything that could be destroyed.

They didn't leave Tony Stark with anything useful at all.

"Sir, Nick Fury is calling."

Just as he was about to continue "scavenging" to see if he could find anything useful, Jarvis immediately sent a reminder.

"Connect it."

The playboy hesitated for a moment before making this decision.

Black Widow had just taken the Winter Soldier's intel back, and he himself had immediately made such a "big move."

If Nick Fury still couldn't guess what exactly had happened, then he wouldn't be worthy of his identity as the head of the intelligence agency.

"Stark, that grand 'firework display' in the forest was your doing, right?"

Indeed.

As soon as Nick Fury spoke, he used a very certain tone, hinting wildly at something.

"No, I was just out for a drive and happened to stumble upon a fireworks display."

Tony Stark, of course, wouldn't admit to anything, dodging the question with Nick Fury without batting an eye.

"Really? How was the fireworks show? Spectacular?"

Nick Fury also didn't call out the playboy, understanding him implicitly. "If I were to head over now, would I still catch it?"

"Unfortunately, it's already over. The show's finished!"

"That was quick."

"Tell me about it!"

"Besides you, were there any other spectators at this fireworks show?"

"I don't think so!"

Having shared a few key pieces of information with Nick Fury, Tony Stark didn't bother to say more.

He cut off the communication and quickly left the secret base.

Squeak!

Squeak!

Not long after Tony Stark left, several agent vehicles arrived with long trails of dust, screeching to a halt around the ravaged entrance of the base.

The car doors were quickly opened, and a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents armed with live weapons rushed out.

The one in the lead was none other than Nick Fury's loyal subordinate, the ever-reliable Coulson.

"Seal off the area, secure all entrances and exits. No one leaves, I repeat, no one."

"I want you to take control of this base as quickly as possible. Take everything you can."

"There may still be hidden enemies inside. Everyone, be on your guard."

"Alright, let's get started! Move out!"

With Coulson's orders, a large number of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents immediately dispersed, surrounding the entire base.

Waiting for them was the mess left behind by Tony Stark.

Of course.

Although the relevant data had been deleted and the corresponding files destroyed,

Hydra couldn't possibly erase all traces in such a hurry.

Not to mention...

The Hydra agents strewn across the base were the best "gift" for Nick Fury.

To be honest, even a mess like this still held immense analytical value for Nick Fury.

However, for Alexander Pierce, Nick Fury's old superior, it was a massive problem.

"Sir, our base has been overrun, and the Winter Soldier is confirmed dead."

"Although James activated the wipe program immediately and the core data was destroyed, the personnel in the base weren't able to evacuate completely."

"A significant number of operatives have already fallen into Nick Fury's hands."

"Including Commander James."

Listening to the report from the high-ranking undercover agent before him, Pierce's expression was ashen, to say the least.

He looked as if he'd been slapped repeatedly across the face, his lips even twitching slightly.

If it were a regular base, Alexander Pierce wouldn't have been overly concerned.

After all, Hydra was a large organization, and could afford some small losses.

But this base was different; it was the Winter Soldier's base! Ever since Bucky Barnes was transformed into a super soldier, he had eliminated countless threats to Hydra over the course of nearly seventy years.

This man was a sharp blade in Hydra's hands, a top-secret trump card!

For the entire Hydra organization, this was an immense loss.

Alexander Pierce felt the sting of this death deeply.

However, beyond the pain, Alexander Pierce was filled with anger and vigilance.

Why had the Destroyer suddenly discovered this secret base?

It was simply too sudden!

It had caught old man Pierce completely off guard, and he still couldn't quite accept it.

Good heavens.

The Winter Soldier's base had been operating smoothly in secret, without revealing any clues.

It hadn't even attracted Nick Fury's attention.

So how could it have been targeted by the Destroyer so suddenly?

No, it wasn't just being targeted.

You know who the Destroyer is, right?

He's a superhero in the public's eyes, always doing good, fighting crime, and punishing evil.

How could such a person just casually deploy his armor for a show of force, for suppression and destruction?

Unless, the Destroyer considered that secret base, like the other armed bases he'd destroyed, to be a base of evil forces!

So, what exactly did Tony Stark know?

What exactly did he have in his grasp?

Could he have already figured out that the base was actually a Hydra base?

That's impossible, isn't it?

How could Tony Stark suddenly get a hold of Hydra's biggest secret?

Alexander Pierce subconsciously rubbed his temples, struggling to think through this series of questions.

The matter had come about so suddenly that there was no way Pierce could make heads or tails of it in such a short amount of time.

"Check!"

"Full investigation!"

"I want to know why that playboy suddenly attacked us."

"I want to know what he knows!"

Removing the finger from his temple, Pierce quickly regained his composure.

He issued this order to the senior undercover agent in front of him.

"Yes, sir!"

"And…"

This wasn't the end. Pierce immediately issued a series of other orders.

A top-secret Hydra base had been suddenly destroyed, exposed right before Nick Fury's eyes, and a whole lot of trouble was now inevitable.

Alexander Pierce wanted to do his best to preserve Hydra's power, without arousing Nick Fury's suspicions.

This wasn't an easy task. In fact, Pierce recognized a truth right now: Hydra was going to bleed heavily again this time.

Hydra's luck had really been down recently!

Alexander Pierce's guess was correct.

Nick Fury's methods were beyond question. After taking over the mess, he began a series of operations.

Every single clue was comprehensively and thoroughly analyzed by Nick Fury.

Every captured Hydra agent was also secretly subjected to a full-scale interrogation by Nick Fury.

Even though Commander James had completely destroyed the core files and data, Nick Fury still managed to dig up quite a bit.

A new wave of conflict between Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D., a new round of secret clashes between Pierce and Nick Fury, had once again begun.

Of course.

Even if Pierce and Nick Fury fought until the sky turned dark, until blood was spilled...

Zhou Cheng, whose actions had caused a butterfly effect, couldn't possibly know about it.

Compared to the two men's frantic state, Zhou Cheng's mood at this moment was actually quite good.

Because he had once again received a reward from the Diary.

[Item: Hacker Mastery]

[Attribute: Hacking Skills]

[Source: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.]

[Detailed Description: All of Daisy Johnson's hacking experience and skills.]

"This time's reward is actually from Marvel?"

Sorting through the information in his mind, Zhou Cheng felt somewhat surprised.

It had been over a year since he obtained the Diary. During this time, Zhou Cheng received a reward every fifteen days.

Up until now, Zhou Cheng had received a good two or three dozen rewards.

Besides the attribute points that mostly enhanced his physical attributes, all the rewards were from worlds outside of Marvel.

Zhou Cheng didn't expect the reward this time to be from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

This American drama shared the same background as the Marvel Cinematic Universe; in other words, it could also be considered part of the MCU.

And if that were the case...

Zhou Cheng's eyes couldn't help but brighten, and he even couldn't help but feel a little more anticipation.

Some of the skills of the big shots in Marvel were still very powerful. He just didn't know if he'd have the chance to obtain them in the future. For example, Doctor Strange's magic, Scarlet Witch's magic, or the Odinforce, and so on?

This was purely wishful thinking.

Zhou Cheng shook his head with a slight smile and quickly refocused his attention on the current reward.

Daisy Johnson? Wasn't this Quake? But Diary, you damn thing, why didn't you reward the seismic abilities of Quake, but instead reward Quake's hacking skills!

Zhou Cheng couldn't help but blurt out a complaint.

But even though he was complaining, Zhou Cheng was actually very satisfied with the Diary's reward this time.

You have to know that besides being incredibly powerful, Quake was also a supremely gifted hacker.

Before she joined S.H.I.E.L.D. and was still working against them with the Rising Tide,

she could hack into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s security system, which cost billions to build, with just a laptop.

It was precisely because of her overpowered hacking skills that Coulson took notice of her and extended an olive branch.

In this age of information and networks, such hacking skills were undoubtedly extremely useful.

"Experience what it's like to be a top-tier hacker!"

Zhou Cheng, full of enthusiasm, picked up his laptop.

His hands flew across the keyboard.

Just a few days ago, someone had leaked information online about a monster battle, but the related information was quickly deleted and cleared.

Zhou Cheng was very curious about this.

That so-called monster, could it be the Hulk?

Clack, clack, clack! Driven by this curiosity, Zhou Cheng, who was only a beginner with computers, began a series of smooth and fluid operations.

In just half a minute.

Several videos that had been deleted and banned popped up on Zhou Cheng's computer screen.

Roar! Roar!

In the image.

Two green behemoths, like human tanks, were engaged in a brutal collision.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Everything around them was practically crushed and destroyed by the two, the momentum was terrifying.

"So, it's the classic battle between Hulk and Abomination!"

Zhou Cheng understood, and then began to watch the show with great interest.

When he got excited, he couldn't help but subconsciously record some of his thoughts in his Diary.

[Wonderful, absolutely wonderful, just like watching a live broadcast, ten thousand times more exciting than a movie.]

Hulk vs. Abomination is one of the most classic single-combat battles in Marvel. It's just not enough!

There are many exciting solo duels in Marvel, but Hulk and Abomination's fight is definitely on the list.

This is a battle between monsters, a raw, beastly style.

It symbolizes power and primal wildness, and it's all about adrenaline.

I don't know how others rank them, but in my opinion, it can definitely be in the top ten!

As for the number one spot, I think it's undoubtedly Doctor Strange taking on the dimension demon Dormammu.

"Sure enough, that monster is Abomination!"

Inside the luxury villa.

Tony Stark's heart skipped a beat as he faced the Diary.

Ever since the Diary spoiled the Hulk versus Abomination, the playboy had instructed Jarvis to keep an eye on related developments.

In fact, the playboy had already "watched" the battle when the Hulk and Abomination clashed.

Although the Diary didn't offer much description of the Abomination, Tony Stark still made such a guess.

After all, in this world, aside from that green-skinned monster like the Hulk, there was really no one else who could fight the Hulk.

At least, that's how it seemed currently.

And now.

Tony Stark's guess was confirmed.

That monster, which was obviously from the same "technology" as Hulk, was indeed Abomination.

"That Ross guy, how many monsters does he plan to create before he quits?"

Tony Stark couldn't help but complain.

That Abomination, which looked like it followed the same path as Hulk, was undoubtedly General Ross's doing, even if he didn't think too hard about it!

But the playboy didn't know that he had misunderstood General Ross this time.

Abomination wasn't actually created by Ross, but by Blonsky acting on his own.

However, this matter had nothing to do with Tony Stark. Tony Stark just made a small complaint and then refocused his attention on the diary.

In Zhou Cheng's eyes, this incredibly exciting one-on-one battle could only make it into the top ten.

The playboy was really curious. What level of battles were ranked before the Hulk versus Abomination fight?

"Dimensional Demon God?"

Tony Stark's gaze soon landed on the spoilers related to Doctor Strange, and he was immediately and severely stimulated.

Dimensional Demon God!?
