High above the port, King flew swiftly, the wind whipping against his Lunarian wings. Kaido's orders were clear—investigate the strange surge of Conqueror's Haki. As he neared the dock, his eyes narrowed.
The pirate ship was already a distant speck on the horizon, moving away fast. But in the shallow waters near the port—roughly a hundred meters out—two barrels floated, glowing faintly. One blue. One aquamarine. The ocean itself shimmered with their glow.
Intrigued, King swooped down, scooping both barrels onto the rocky shore.
Inside the blue barrel, I was tensed. I felt movement—someone had found me. Was it the pirates? Was I caught again?
The lid burst open, and I launched forward, my fist aglow with blue light.
King caught the punch with ease.
He smirked, raising an eyebrow at the small, glowing child. "Feisty."
Before I could react, Jin flipped me upside down and held me by one leg. I stopped struggling when I saw the man's face—black wings, flame at the back, and the Lunarian tribal tattoo. Just like Selene.
"Oh," I said, blinking. "Sorry. Thought you were one of them who captured us."
King grunted and dropped me gently to the sand.
A moment later, the aquamarine barrel popped open. Selene climbed out, eyes wide when she saw King. Her expression softened—fascinated, maybe even relieved and some disbelief.
"You… you're like me," she whispered.
King was stunned. A Lunarian child? A survivor?
Before he could respond, he winced. His hand—the one that caught me—was starting to sting. The blue glow from my body was eroding his skin.
Quickly, King activated his Armament Haki, covering his hand in black armor. The erosion slowed, then stopped, but the internal damage lingered.
Selene stepped forward, her aquamarine glow pulsing gently. The Gentle glow healed the wound easily
The pain vanished.
The healing was instant.
King stared at the two children, both glowing with powerful auras—unknown powers.
While I and Selene talked with each other and I was soothing her and she was happy she found someone of her own species. King looked at us weak and withered and then he sighed
He suddenly picked both us up and flew back to the place where Kaido and the rest of the crew was in the tavern.
I wanted to know more about the timeline in which I was as I saw King a lot younger than I remembered in my memories asked King "hey what's your name" "King" King replied "hey you know about Gold D roger" I asked "yeah that guy who is trying to find the ultimate treasure with his idiotic crew" King said "what about it" King asked "oh no nothing I thought you look strong so may be you know him" I said lying in my mind 'from this words I could say the Roger till not have become the pirate king and the great pirate era has not started yet so I have a lot of time before the protagonist of this world Monkey D Luffy is born and the cannon event starts and he comes to Wano after 2years of his journey looking at the situation Kaido till have not taken over Wano-Kuni yet ok I do not need to worry, a lot of time is left before the world become chaotic in that time I have to become stronger and then started to enjoy the feeling of being carried while flying through air and within 15 mins we reached the tavern.
Kaido sat cross-legged, tankard in hand, roaring with laughter as his crew celebrated the day's bounty. He turned when Jin landed, raising an eyebrow.
"Two kids?" he said, chuckling. "You were gone for an one hour King and you bought two child already" Queen mocked.
King said nothing. He simply placed Azrak and Selene before Kaido.
Kaido's smile faded into something sharper, more focused. His Conqueror's Haki flared just slightly and he flet the presence of conqueror inside me which has awakened just now and a hidden power inside Selene
Kaido saw both the two children didn't flinch. After all he is a big pirate in this seas even if he stay normal the intimated by his normal arua will make normal people scare.
Kaido grinned. "You're not scared?"
I looked up, eyes shining, I have seen this man in my past life in anime he was intimidating and strong but the anime did no justice did man looks 10times even more stronger and intimidating I look around the beast pirates only remembering Queen and King who were younger the beast pirates now are only of 450 people out of which 300 are here I said "The villagers said Kaido is the strongest Oni. I always looked up to you." I lied can I even say that in my previous life you were an anime character and I know you love talents and will not harm me then everyone me think me as a lunatic and do they even know what anime is.
Selene nodded. "I trust Azrak. And if he follows you, you can't be a bad person and the villagers told us about some great pirates like you."
Kaido laughed—a deep, thunderous roar that echoed across the island. "Hah! You brats are bold. I like it."
He raised his tankard and drank and then said. "From now on, you're part of my Beast Pirates. But remember—I don't like weaklings and waste."
Kaido turn to his crew and said "Little ones today this two brats joined us lets celebrate" The crew erupted in cheers.
But then Kaido also felt the eroding power of the blue light on his body from me and I noticed that the aquamarine glow of Selene which was also healing hisbody.
Kaido looked at the glowing children thoughtfully. The erosion and healing powers intrigued him.
"And you two brats try to control this powers like the energy flowing through it try to make a ball of it inside you" Kaido said and after hearing him we tried to control it and soon we control our powers
"What kind of Devil Fruits did you eat?" he mused aloud. "Paramecia? Mythical Zoans? Doesn't match any I've seen... Not even in Vegapunk's book back in that hell hole."
Azrak and Selene explained everything—the barrels, the food, the escape. Kaido listened, drinking and laughing, nodding now and then.
Then his face turned serious.
"Our juniors were bullied," he said, slamming his drink down. "Little ones—what do we do with pirates who harm our own?"
"KILL THEM!" the Beast Pirates roared.
Kaido grinned and stood, grabbing his kanabo. "Let's go hunting."
The crew roared "Hunt Them Down Kill Them! Kill Them!"
He and his crew boarded their ship, Azrak and Selene also followed the crew like baby duckling.
The chase for vengeance had begun.
