As Saif and Isaac were circling around themselves, trying to find where the restaurant is, while looking, Isaac spots Ethon in the distance approaching and taps Saif's shoulder excitedly, alerting him of the hope that it is Ethon.
After they all finally reunite back with everyone and sit down to eat, the table just kept erupting with laughter with everyone having an amazing time together and happy with each other's company. After they all finished eating, Ethon once more got on top of his chair while having a glass and a knife in his hand, and gently tapped the glass with the knife to grab everyone's attention while saying, "Please everyone, may I have your attention for a moment." Leo commented on his move and said, "What kind of fancy pants move is that Ethon?" Everyone gets a good chuckle out of his comment, and Ethon, jokingly looks defeated and says, "Just let me have my moment man." And his act added to the ongoing laughter that started. Ethon, after the laughter died down, clears his throat and says to everyone, "I hope all of you had a good meal today and that the restaurant and staff met your expectations." Victoria's father nobs subconsciously in approval. Ethon continues and says, "Now that we all have food in our stomach, now, why don't we go to the main event. Let us now all enter Purgatory!"
After he said that, it was all just silence, with a few people just trying to be supportive and slightly cheering before quickly going quiet again. He clears his throat again, not deterred by the silent crowd like he already expected this reaction. He says to all of them, "I know that we all here beyond hate Purgatory where even words can't describe. But we need to change that now. We are all here today to face it, and to see the usefulness of Purgatory now that it's safe. I promise you all that we are going to have an amazing time. Trust me, there is nothing to fear anymore. And if you want my opinion, I can't wait to reach the resort level now that it's safe." Major chuckling can only be heard from the 10 who were actually in Purgatory, as they are the only ones who get the joke.
Saif gets up from his seat and raises his glass of water, and he says, "I will hold you to that promise then." Everyone then follows Saif's lead and raises their glasses of various drinks up high, saying how they all trust in his words and can't wait to see what he has prepared for them. Leo comments, "Wow, I guess we all are doing this fancy business now." And that gets a bunch of laughter going from everyone. Ethon looks down, happiness evident on his face, showing how happy he is that everything he had done and risked was at the end worth it. He shakes his head to be back in the moment and gets off his chair and announces to everyone, "Alright then, follow me!" Everyone cheers again as they follow him down to the entrance to Purgatory.
As they are walking there, Isaac and Victoria and John move towards Saif. Victoria asks, "How are you holding up?" Saif replies back with a simple, "Pretty good." John adds in, "You know, if you don't want to go inside again so soon after your first entrance, it's fine you know." Saif replies to him quickly saying, "No no man, I am fine. I can tank another one. After all, the first is the worst." Isaac then gets in and says, "Yes Saif, but if you still need time to heal, that's fine. We can go in again another time and explore. It doesn't need to be today." Saif says to them all, "Don't worry so much guys, really, I am fine. I can do this alright." They all sigh at his stubbornness, and Victoria tells him, "We knew you wouldn't listen to reason, so we won't try anymore. Plus, we know you can handle it, but would have been better if you didn't have to. Anyway, just so you know as a heads up, you will have a lot of... well, spasms of worry in there." Saif then repeats the last thing she said back to her in a quizzical tone as he didn't understand what she meant when she said 'Spasms of worry'. Victoria continues, "Well, the thing is that you are still going to feel like you are in danger, even though nothing in there can hurt you." Saif, looking a little shocked and says, "Wait, you guys enter more than just level 1? That's surprising." Isaac replied to him and said, "Not really. I personally didn't go past level 3, and I think Victoria didn't go past 4 or 5, but John, ehh-..." Seeing that Isaac doesn't remember, John chimes in and says, "I didn't go past level 2."
Saif asks with a puzzled voice but with a little playfulness in his voice, "Damn, why the variety in levels?" John says to him back, "Well, it's how much we needed to be exposed to to feel better. That's at least what the doctors said. How ever many more you needed is how much you needed to be exposed to, to finally fully know that you are safe now. Poor Levi for example went up to level 20 to fully recover. Or at least as far as fully can be in recovery for us." Victoria, looking a little embarrassed, says, "Hey! Not because some of us needed to go a few levels more than others doesn't mean anything alright. I-it just means some of us need more-... more-... More variety in their exposure! Yes, that's it!" When she looks back at the others, she sees them all smiling warmly at her, which embarrasses her more as they were smiling at how she was trying to hide how seemingly weaker and fragile she was to everyone else and covers her face with her hands. They all laugh at how she is acting, but then Isaac adds, "But she is right you know. Some need this and some need that. What we are doing is inconsistent at best at measuring anything." John, smiling proudly, says, "Oh, look who is also talking about how level numbers don't matter, mister level 3." Isaac tells him to cut it out in joking frustration, and how one level difference means nothing, but John wasn't having any of it. Saif and Victoria were laughing at their bickering when Saif suddenly asked her, "How many levels do you think I need?"
Victoria, taken a bit off guard, is surprised for a moment, but then gets a bit of a gloomy look on her face. She said, "I don't know. None of us still feel safe when we hear the name of that place, no matter how many levels we expose ourselves to." She pauses for a moment and then continues, "I don't think we will ever heal from this Saif, so, if we want to know how many, then from what I know… none." Saif doesn't say anything for a moment before finally saying back, "Well, that's a gloomy way to see it." Isaac and John are still bickering in the background as Victoria looks at Saif surprised by his nonchalant and simple answer, which frustrates her a little and says, "Gloomy? That's how it is, Saif. I tried it, and still I am not! I am not okay! None of us are! No matter how many levels we face again! So, this isn't negativity, this is reality Saif." Saif looks at her and says back, "I know that, and I also know that none of us will be the same again. I think that's already obvious. But if you ask me, I think we will be better, as after all, even if the wound was deep, even if it leaves a scar, it will still heal." Victoria looks down at the ground when she replied to what Saif said. She paused for a moment, and while looking away from his direction says, "I am trying Saif. I promise I am trying to heal."
