Jay and keifer were sleeping peacefully after a long time while hugging each other tightly.
Suddenly keifer felt jay shivering beside him.
He woke up to find her crying in her sleep, body cold again, mumbling something inaudible.
Keifer( shaking her ): Jay. Hey jay, snap out of it. It's ok jay. U r safe. Wake up jay.
Jay woke up, still crying and the moment she saw keifer, she hugged him tightly.
Jay( crying voice ): keifer, I don't want it. Pls, it hurts. Take them away. I can't take it anymore.
Keifer: it's ok jay. U r ok now.
Jay was still crying and shivering while clutching onto keifer as if he was her anchor to this realm.
Keifer: Let me call the doctor.
After a few minutes doctor came and gave jay a sedative so that she could calm down.
Section e, her brothers and the team also came hearing the commotion.
Keifer: what's happening to her doctor? She keeps saying she doesn't want them and that it hurts. What's going on with her?
Doctor: as I have already told u earlier mr.watson, her memories r coming back. The more they come, the more painful it will be for her to handle. And the deeper those memories go, the more she will suffer.
Aries: so do something then.
Doctor: we can't. It all depends on her. All I can do is give her the meds and the right treatment. U all have to keep her happy. And the rest depends on her. Don't pressure her or stress her out. Let her recover and remember at her own pace. If u force her then it might end badly for her. If she's ready to share then she will. Don't talk about it for now. Just let it be.
Keifer: ok doctor. Thank u.
Doctor: ofc mr.watson. Take good care of her, she's vulnerable right now. I'll be going now.
He left, leaving behind a wave of silence filled with worry.
They all stayed there waiting for her to wake up. Soon the girls, tita gema, Jay's mom and dad, percy and godfather also arrived.
After sometime she slowly woke up.
Keifer was the first one to react.
Keifer: jay, how r u feeling now? R u ok?
He said while helping jay sit up.
Jay( clutching her head ): keifer. What happened?
Kuya angelo: u were panicking jay. What did u see?
Tita gema: not now angelo. Remember what the doctor said. Don't pressure her.
Mom: jay, how r u feeling now baby?
Jay( coldly ): I'm fine. What r u all doing here?
Keifer: they came here for u jay. Why r u behaving coldly jay especially towards ur mom?
Jay: I don't want anyone here right now. I just want to rest.
Robin: what happened jay?
Jay: I don't want to talk about it right now. Pls leave.
Godfather: let's give her some space everyone. We'll be outside if u need anything jay.
He said and everyone left. Only keifer and jay were in the room now. Keifer sat beside jay on his bed.
Keifer: wanna talk about it.
She shook her head in no.
Keifer: that's ok. Want to talk about ur mom then.
She slowly looked at him. Tears starting to form in her eyes again.
Jay: I remember how cold she was towards aries. She's the reason we r like this today. She's the reason aries hated me for years. She's the reason for my condition today. I remember it keifer. And every time my mind drifts back to those memories, I feel like I'm reliving it again. I know she suffered a lot too but that doesn't excuse what me and aries went through bcz of her. She separated me from my own brother keifer. We treated each other like strangers for years. She kept me away from my own father too and left me to suffer at the hands of those monsters. She was barely home which gave them every chance to abuse me and I couldn't do anything. The league was the only ones giving me a purpose to live at that time, to make me feel worth something. They were the only ones who made me feel that I was worthy of love too.
Keifer: she's still ur mom.
Jay: Ik. That's why I don't know what to do. She wanted a second chance and I gave her that but now....now I don't know what to do.
He pulled her close. Her head resting on his shoulder, his arm wrapped around her protectively.
Keifer: I think u should try to fix ur relation with her. U don't have to forgive her right now if u don't want to. U don't have to do anything. U have every right to make her earn her way back into ur life. Maybe someday, u'll finally forgive her and trust me, it would be worth it. Just don't push her away ok. Me and my brothers never got the motherly love we deserved and I don't want to see u go through that too. All I'm asking for is that u give her another chance to prove that she's worthy of being in ur life again, ok.
Jay: ok. I'll try.
Keifer: good. And don't think too much about everything right now. Just live in the moment. And let me pamper u.
Jay( soft chuckle ): u really r trying to make me lazy, aren't u.
Keifer( dramatically ): my queen deserves to be pampered for an eternity.
Jay: fine but on one condition.
Keifer: and what's that?
Jay: u'll let me pamper u too.
Keifer: U don't have to do that. Besides u need more pampering than me right now.
Jay( dramatically ): oh but just like ur queen, my king also deserves pampering. Especially after spending a week barely eating or sleeping and then losing consciousness.
Keifer: ok fine. Truce. Let's pamper each other together then. Starting with breakfast and surviving the section e chaos.
Jay: can't forget my team. Get ready for the chaos tornado mr.watson.
Keifer: I'm ready if u r my soon to be mrs.watson.
Jay: ok now let's get them inside so that we can eat. I'm really hungry now.
Keifer: ok. I'll go get them.
Keifer went out and returned with them.
Godfather: how r u feeling now jay?
Jay: better.
Mom: jay, what happened earlier?
Jay: nothing. Just forget it.
Keifer: jay. U said u'll try.
Aries: try what?
Jay( sighing ): try giving another chance to mom. After I got my memories back, I didn't know if I could give u another chance to come in my life but then keifer talked to me and now I'm willing to let u try to earn ur way back in my life.
Mom: thank u jay. I wasn't sure u would want to once u got ur memories back.
Jay: u shouldn't thank me. U should thank keifer for talking me into it.
Keifer: it's ok. It wasn't a big deal.
Percy: ok now if that's sorted, can we eat. I'm hungry.
Ci-n: me too.
" us too ", said everyone.
Tita gema( chuckling ): well then it's a good thing we brought some home cooked meal for u all.
Jay: yessss. Thank u so much tita.
Tita gema: don't thank me jay. Just eat. That's enough for me.
Tita gema and Jay's mom served food to everyone and they all started eating happily.
Keifer was feeding jay and jay was feeding keifer🤭
Ci-n: looking at our jayfer being so cheezy early morning.
Blaster: I can't handle this much love before breakfast.
Aries: don't u have hands to feed yourself instead of each other?
Thyme: let them be. It's actually nice seeing them happy again.

Jay( sighing ): and the chaos begins .
Keifer( grinning ): worth pampering u for.
Jay: shut up and eat.
Keifer: feed me again.

After eating breakfast, everyone went back to rest or to go to their physiotherapy. Even tita gema, Jay's mom and dad, percy and godfather went back to the base.
Jay and keifer sat side by side on their beds placed right next to each others.
Jay seemed lost in thought, staring at the wall ahead of her, keifer noticed.
Keifer: what r u thinking jay?
Jay snapped out of her thoughts and looked at keifer.
Jay: just thinking, what it would be like if dad wasn't married before, what if mom and dad were together back then. No step dads, no blood trauma, no suffering and no separation from aries.
Keifer: if that would have happened. We wouldn't have met then. U wouldn't have that annoying self obsessed yet somehow caring in his own way percy as ur step brother. U and aries would probably wouldn't have come to hvis. I would have been the same playboy and section e wouldn't be like they r today. The biggest thing of all is that I wouldn't have met the love of my life and would be too miserable.
Jay: u make some good points there mr.watson. U sure u don't want to be a lawyer if not a chef.
Keifer: I'm good. But atleast I can be a lawyer, a chef, a king, a knight in shining armor and whatever else needed only for u.
Jay: u better be or else we r gonna have some problems.
Keifer( saluting ): aye aye captain.
Jay( chuckling ): alright now let's sleep for sometime. We need to rest so that we can be discharged soon. I miss seeing keigan and Keiran, I miss home, I miss my bed and most of all I miss snorlax.
Keifer: oh so u basically miss everyone even a stuffed animal instead of me.
She lightly smacked his chest.
Jay: it's not just any stuffed animal ok. Besides u r already here with me and stop being jealous of ur own brothers. Now sleep.
Keifer( pouting ): ok. I'll sleep on the couch then or any other room. Let's see if u miss me then.
He was about to get up when jay grabbed his arm and pulled him back and then kissed his pout.
Jay: Don't sulk so much. I miss u too. All the time.
Keifer( murmuring ): u r just saying that.
He said and turned his face away. Jay grabbed him gently by his jaw and made him face her.
Jay: I'm not just saying that. I miss u the most my sulky baby. Don't u miss me🥺
Keifer( in his mind ): baby? She never calls me baby. I think the meds and coma r messing with her brain🤔. Whatever, let's just enjoy this for a while😁🤣
Keifer: ofc I do. When u were in coma, I missed u so much. Even when u r near me I still miss u the most.
Jay: well I'm here now and so r u. So stop wasting time on being jealous and sulking and spend it by making new memories with me.
Keifer: ok but as ur boyfriend and future hubby, I'm allowed to be jealous and sulking sometime even from my own brothers. No arguments there.
Jay( teasing ): who said u r going to be my future hubby huh?
Keifer( smirking ): oh trust me, it's going to be only and only me wifey. U r mine, only mine. If anyone else even thinks to come in between us I'm telling u there is going to be war and I'll win it for sure.
Jay( chuckling ): ok ok my possessive boyfriend, if u r done plotting ur plan against ur future rivals can we rest now.
Keifer: first give me a kiss.
Jay: seriously keifer.
Keifer: oh I'm always serious in matters like this. I didn't even get my morning kiss. I want it now.
Jay: u r so childish.
Keifer( grinning ): only for u. Now give me my kiss before I add on all the kisses I missed when u were in coma.
Jay( narrowing her eyes ): don't act like u didn't steal kisses from me. I know for sure u did that.

Jay: ok fine.
Then she kissed him on the cheek and quickly laid down turning her back to him.
Keifer: hey! That's cheating.
Jay( mimicking him): maybe😁
He also laid down, hugged her from behind, pulled her close and leaned closer to her ear.
Keifer( whispering ): wait till I get my revenge wifey.
Then kissed her neck, sending a shiver down her spine.
Then they both slept while keifer was hugging her tightly.
They woke up by a knock on the door. Slowly everyone entered the room.
Percy: wake up lovebirds. It's lunch time.
Tita gema: I brought u some lumpia, sausage, lechon, rice and also some soup to help u recover quickly.
Ci-n: tita did u bring all of that only for jay☹
Tita gema: aw, don't be sad ci-n, I brought it for everyone. So u can have some too, ok.
Ci-n( jumping ): thank u tita😁
Rakki( scolding ): stop jumping ci-n, u r still not healed. 😠
Freya( teasing ): rakki, r u scolding him or caring for him😏
Jay( teasing ): she's doing both freya. It's care disguised as scolding.

Jay immediately moved away to the far end of the bed and covered her mouth with her hands.
Jay: no. Not happening.
Kuya angelo: don't u dare kiss her Watson. I'm watching u.👊👀

Keifer( innocently ): don't worry. I guess I'll just have to claim it later then.
Jay smacked him hard on his arm.
Keifer: ouch. Jay don't forget I'm still hurt.

Jay( glaring ): stop it and finish ur food.
Keifer( saluting ): yes ma'am.
They finished their food and then decided to watch a movie. They all gathered around to watch a funny movie on the big tv in the room.
After watching that they were just chatting when the nurses and doctor came and gave them their meds and also changed their bandages. While the doctor examined Jay's condition and gave her her meds.
Doctor: how r feeling now mrs. Watson?
Jay choked on her water, keifer tried to bite his lip to stop a smile from forming but failed, kuya angelo and aries glared at keifer while the rest just straight up started laughing.
Jay( shocked ): mrs what?
She turned to keifer, eyes narrow.
Jay: u did this didn't u?
Keifer( smiling ): maybe🤣
Doctor( clearing his throat ): is there something wrong?
Kuya angelo: she's not mrs.watson, she's ms.mariano.
Doctor: but her name here clearly says Jasper Jean Mariano Watson and mr.watson himself called her his wife when he brought her in.
Aries: well he said wrong. My sister is no ones wife.
Keifer( grinning ): not yet.
Doctor( clearing his throat again ): ok then ah, ms.mariano, how r u feeling now.
Jay: I feel like murdering someone but other than that I'm fine.
Doctor( awkwardly): ahm ok, uh do u have any head ache now or did u get another memory flash or something?
Jay: no. Not after the one in the morning.
Doctor( smiling ): that's good. Alright then, u keep this up and u'll be out of this bed and hospital soon enough. But for the time being, take ur meds on time and get plenty of rest and remember no stress or pressure of any kind, ok.
Jay( nodding ): ok doctor.
Doctor: good and once u r done with the much needed bedrest, we'll move to physiotherapy and then u can go home.
Jay: ok doctor.
Percy: I think it would be easier to just give her a room here permanently. We won't have to go forth and back and waste time and fuel on bringing her here after every few weeks.
Jay: hey!
Keifer: shut up percy.
Doctor: Yep, that's my queue. I'll go now.
Kuya angelo: thank u doctor.
Then the doctor left and everyone started cheering again.
Ci-n: yes, we can go back soon.
Keifer: see you're doing great. Soon u'll be out of the hospital.
Tita gema: just rest and don't think too much jay.
Aya: and leave the rest to us.
Gorya: yes. We r incharge of making u happy.
Josh( teasing ): I think keifer already got that covered.
Percy: still extra help never hurt. And by seeing my handsome face for a while u'll be healed soon sistah.
Felix: I think she'll get worse if u keep talking about ur face all the time.
Aries: or even show it.
Percy( dramatically): u guys wound me. My own brother and baby has turned on me now.
Jay: add sister to that list too.
Percy: u too jay. Seriously.
Jay( flashing a fake smile ): I don't know. U tell me.🙂

As soon as they left keifer pulled jay closer to him.
Jay( startled ): keifer what r u doing?

Before jay could process things, he kissed her. A needy but soft type of kiss.
Then he pulled away and laid down like nothing happened leaving jay stunned and heart beating like it's in a race.
Keifer: take some rest now wifey.
After hearing that, she snapped out of it and laid down as well. Keifer hugged her and buried his face in her neck. Jay's body stilled for a moment before melting into his warmth.
They both slept like that only.
At dinner time again everyone came, they had there dinner while talking, teasing and roasting and then left again.
Keifer and Jay Jay again slept while cuddling each other.
