Chapter 6 - Ch 6: Copying and Practice

During the holiday period, Uchiha Izumi discovered that she could copy other people's Ninjutsu through her Sharingan. Although she didn't know why a one-tomoe Sharingan could copy other people's Ninjutsu, she attributed it to the influence of Divine Ink. Thus, she had been observing others' training and learning their Ninjutsu.

Izumi only dared to secretly observe the Ninjutsu of less powerful Ninja, as they were not strong. If she were to secretly observe powerful Ninja and be discovered, it would be disastrous.

So, Izumi began to send Shadow Clones, transformed into other people's appearances, to secretly observe and learn the Ninjutsu of powerful Ninja.

Unfortunately, she could only learn general Ninjutsu; some Bloodline Ninjutsu were completely unusable.

Now, Izumi believed she had learned enough general Ninjutsu and temporarily saw no need to continue, unless it was a very special type of Ninjutsu. After all, too much ambition can lead to poor results, and the top priority should be to learn her most important abilities. Thus, Izumi decided to continue practicing talismans, reducing the time spent on Ninjutsu practice.

Izumi increased the time she spent studying talismans, practicing every day. Recently, she found a scroll about the world's common talismans in her father's storage scroll, so she began to learn from it.

Izumi looked at the jutsu formulas on it. These things were complex and intricate to create. When drawing, one needed to perfectly control the flow and transmission of Chakra, without any mistakes. Otherwise, a single error would render the entire talisman useless, so creating these things required specialized talent.

However, this did not stump Izumi. After all, she had a cheat, and she had also been practicing for so long.

Izumi then began to skillfully draw. First were the space scrolls, the most commonly used and troublesome for Ninja, often used to store various weapons, puppets, daily necessities, dangerous items, and even Ninjutsu.

"Simple." She had practiced this the most during this time and was the most proficient.

Izumi lay on a blank large scroll she had bought, using a special pen dipped in special ink, carefully drawing.

The two sides of the scroll were covered with runes, a blank circle was drawn in the middle, and then mysterious strokes and patterns were written outside the circle. Thus, a storage scroll capable of storing a certain volume of items was completed.

Izumi looked at the scroll. It took her so long to write just one. Although she could be faster once she became more proficient, it was still a bit too troublesome. Although she was already much faster than others, Izumi was still a little dissatisfied, thinking, "Why not let a Shadow Clone write it?"

Suddenly, Izumi thought of something and immediately tried it excitedly.

She pressed her finger on the scroll, thought of the space talisman in her mind, and then spiritual power appeared on her body. She began to draw on the scroll with her hand.

"Wow! It really works!" Izumi found that drawing talismans directly with spiritual power was more comfortable and faster than using Chakra. She suddenly thought, "Then can talismans be drawn directly? What if I turn Chakra into lines and directly control them to copy onto here? Let's try!"

The more Izumi thought about it, the more excited she became, so she immediately pressed her palm on the blank scroll and then directly copied the Divine Ink Chakra onto the scroll.

Sure enough, black talismans appeared directly from Izumi's palm, like black long snakes crawling all over this part of the paper, finally connecting together, and thus, a space talisman was completed.

"Yay!" Izumi jumped up happily.

"This is all money!" Izumi said happily, "I completed such an expensive item like this. From now on, I won't be short of money! Hehe..."

Izumi immediately picked up the talisman scroll and began to learn other common talisman jutsu formulas. "Next is this type of talisman, hmm, yes!"

Izumi began her time of creating scrolls.

"Phew! So tired!" Izumi was covered in sweat from exhaustion. While using Chakra and spiritual power to create scrolls was fast, it was very tiring over a long period.

Izumi looked at the small half-room filled with scrolls, overjoyed.

She had completed so many scrolls so quickly; it was truly impressive.

She found that if she used Divine Ink Chakra, the talismans created had a significantly better effect than ordinary talismans, and if spiritual power was added, the effect would be even more powerful.

Izumi clenched her fist, thinking, "Although my cheat isn't too strong, I must find my own path."

Izumi quickly went to discuss with her mother, suggesting that her mother sell these items to earn more money and have an easier life.

Uchiha Hazuki looked at so many storage scrolls and Exploding Tags, as well as other talismans. She looked at Izumi in surprise and then asked, "Did you make all of these?"

Izumi crossed her arms, saying proudly, "That's right, it was me. From now on, our family will sell these."

Uchiha Hazuki was also very happy. This way, she wouldn't have to go out and work, and if her daughter had a talent in this area, she could also run this scroll business herself, and wouldn't have to take risky missions later on.

So she rented a shop to sell these scrolls.

As Izumi was carrying these scrolls on a Konoha street, she suddenly saw a man—a pale-faced man with long hair and snake-like eyes. Everyone instinctively kept their distance from him upon seeing him.

"Orochimaru!" Izumi, of course, knew this man. When Izumi watched Naruto in the past, she once thought he was the strongest boss, but later, as more and more powerful Ninja appeared, he became a rather awkward character. Besides his ability to conduct scientific research, forbidden Ninjutsu, and his tenacious life with many self-preservation methods, his actual strength felt just average. Instead, he became an inspiring character who wanted to defy fate.

However, he was later buffed again. How to decipher and know the enemy's secrets—all these inexplicable things could be attributed to Orochimaru's research...

Izumi followed Orochimaru, cautiously trailing him.

Izumi didn't intend to put her full effort into hiding her presence, because even if she used all her strength to hide herself, she couldn't evade Orochimaru's senses.

Sure enough, Orochimaru had already discovered her.

When he reached deep into the forest, he turned back and said in a hoarse, deep voice, "Come out."

"Oh my, oh my, indeed, in front of a powerful Ninja like Lord Orochimaru, I am still far behind."

Izumi scratched her head, smiling apologetically as she walked out from behind the tree.

Orochimaru frowned when he saw Izumi. He hadn't expected it to be a little brat.

"Hmm? It's a brat. Who are you? Why are you following me?" Orochimaru asked with a sneer.

Izumi introduced herself, "Lord Orochimaru, my name is Uchiha Izumi, a Ninja of the Uchiha Clan."

"Oh?" Orochimaru said in surprise, "From the Uchiha Clan? To have such skill at such a young age is quite good, but you lack experience. You made too many mistakes while tracking me. Truly a Ninja of the Uchiha Clan, your future prospects are limitless. What do you want?"

Izumi immediately said with a smile, "Hehehe, I wanted to see Lord Orochimaru, the legendary Sannin. I wonder if you could teach me a few Ninjutsu?"

Orochimaru sneered, "Hehehe, girls don't like my Ninjutsu..."

Izumi's eyes lit up, and she said excitedly, "So that means you really can teach me?"

Orochimaru said, "Teaching you isn't impossible, but it depends on whether you can learn it."

Orochimaru stared coldly at Izumi and released a powerful killing intent towards her.
