🌍 The World of Veyloris
Veyloris is a land ruled not by kings, but by mages.
The sky is pierced by floating towers. The ground is scarred by leyline wars. Cities rise around Arcane Forges, and ancient beasts sleep beneath shattered moons. Every breath taken in this world draws mana from the air—and every citizen is judged by how much of it they can command.
To possess no mana is to be invisible.
Those born without cores are called Dregs, Wildborn, or Unmarked—depending on how polite you are. They clean the blood off stone roads. They burn in magefire wars. They die in silence.
But Veyloris wasn't always this way.

A thousand years ago, swords ruled the world.
Warriors known as Bladebearers challenged mages and monsters alike with nothing but steel and spirit. They didn't cast spells—they shattered them. They trained in Forms, bonded with their weapons, and reached levels of control the world now calls mythical.
But when the First Mana Surge flooded the land, their legacy was erased. Magic became law.
