Chapter 1 – The Crow
The morning air was crisp, October's chill brushing the tips of the forest trees. Birds chirped in the distance, but Strom barely noticed—the calm was just a prelude to chaos. His 22nd birthday was in five days, but the thrill of survival and the return of Dravyss, his mother dragon, made every day feel like a celebration. The scars of past battles had healed, yet the echoes of legends lived on.
Dravyss, in human form, hummed softly in the kitchen, rolling dough for pies. The smell of baking filled the house, warm and comforting. Strom preferred the forest for mornings—the smell of wet earth, the light filtering through leaves, the quiet…
And then, the quiet broke.
A shadow hurtled from the sky and crashed into the clearing ahead of him.
Strom blinked.
"A crow?!" he muttered, crouching. "Ahhh… maybe… a leg piece?"
But the aura hit him before he even touched the small body. This wasn't a crow. Not really. His heart clenched. He scooped the fragile, bleeding figure into his arms.
Her faint pulse told him the truth. It was Nia.
Back at the house, Dravyss raised an eyebrow, rolling flour off her hands.
Dravyss: "Strom… you brought a crow?"
Strom smirked. "Yes. A wild crow."
(After a moment) "Just kidding, mom. It's Nia."
They laid her on the bed, bandaged torn flesh, and offered warm tea. The October cold seeped into every corner of the house, but Strom wrapped her in blankets. Hours passed. Finally, her eyes fluttered open, meeting his.
Strom. "So… Nia. Tell me everything."
Dravyss intervened, gentle yet firm. "Stop! She's injured. Let her breathe before she talks."
Strom nodded, watching her chest rise and fall, counting the rhythm of her survival. The mother dragon's care was unmatched.
When Nia spoke, her voice trembled, but it carried the weight of her journey:
Nia: "They… there are five. Five colossal snakes. I tried… but I failed."
Strom's brow furrowed. "Five big snakes?"
Nia: "Yes, I hunted monsters across lands. Thought I'd wiped them out… but they guard a girl. A very powerful girl."
Strom's lips curled into a confident smirk. "Interesting… tell me everything."
She recounted every detail: deserts, forests, battlefields where she clashed with creatures that would have killed ordinary warriors. But these five snakes were different—each uniquely deadly, and the girl controlling them, a witch's daughter, was beyond any opponent she had faced.
Strom's eyes narrowed, Dragon Blood flickering.
Strom: "No big deal. We can handle that ".
Nia's voice wavered. "Do you think your team can handle that?"
Strom: "Yes. And… mom's back. That makes it even easier,"
He replied with full confidence radiating like heat off the morning sun.
Nia (Her body trembled, broken from battle): "I… I can't fly. I can barely walk."
Strom( idea ): "You wanna ride to the team?"
Nia (A weak smile ): "Okay."
She leapt onto his back. Strom's hands gripped her tightly, careful, protective, yet steady.
Nia: "Am I… heavy?"
Strom ( casual ): "Come on, girl! I can carry a hundred like you at once."
Nia ( teasing ): "What if I… transform into Gorgon?"
Strom: "No. Not a good idea,"
Laughing and walking through the morning. The two of them walked through the forest, shadows of giants past lingering, but their spirits light. Dravyss would follow later, packing what they needed.
Nia was playful, mischievous even in weakness, and Strom never once said no to her.
The forest around them held its breath. The legend of the Dragon Knight was waking again, and with Nia at his back, nothing—not five colossal snakes, not even a witch's wrath—would stand in his way.
Chapter 2 – The Arrival
The sun had already started sinking when Strom and Nia reached the Dark Forest. The air grew heavy, trees thick like walls, and the light barely made its way through. Nia looked around nervously, clutching his shoulder.
Nia: "Strom… why are we here?"
Strom (dead serious): "I'm going to kill you now."
Nia blinked, silent for a moment, then burst out laughing.
Nia: "Ha! Bad joke!"
Strom (smirking): "Okay fearless mommy, sit here. I'll be back."
He gently placed her on a flat boulder covered in moss. She crossed her arms, still suspicious, as Strom disappeared into a nearby cave room — small, quiet, hidden under vines.
Inside, the darkness welcomed him. He removed his shirt, revealing the map of battles carved into his skin — muscles hardened like steel, and scars glowing faintly under the dim light. He stood before armor stand — his own personal relic — The Legendary Dragon Knight Armour forged by himself.
He was about to put it on when he felt a presence. He turned.
And there she was — Nia, peeking from the cave entrance, eyes wide and jaw practically on the floor.
Strom: "Girl! You know it counts as bad manners when you're watching someone changing."
Nia (stunned): "Wow… you're so hot."
Strom ( annoyed ): "Oh please, I'm literally changing right now."
Nia (ignoring him): "Blue eyes, sharp jawline, big strong muscles, cool scars—how can someone stop staring at you!?"
Strom (facepalming): "Oh God! I don't even have a door in this room."
Nia (teasing): "Okay shy boy, I'm not looking. Fine."
Strom (muttering): "Thanks…"
He finally finished equipping his armor — the plates locked in with a metallic hum, glowing faintly blue like the veins of a sleeping dragon. He walked out, armor shimmering in the dim light, and lifted Nia effortlessly onto his back again.
Strom: "Don't tell anyone you saw me here, okay?"
Nia: "Okay, pinky promise!"
Strom: "You better learn good manners."
Nia (grinning): "I grew up in the wild. You can't blame me."
Strom: "Okay, naughty kitty, let's go."
They crossed the river, the reflection of the moon rippling beneath them. They moved through the Oka Forest, then across the open plains, wind brushing against their faces as the world seemed to widen again.
After hours of travel, Strom finally stopped, gazing ahead with a faint smile.
Strom: "Okay… here we go."
They stood at the edge of Astrid's village — the place of warriors, sunlight, and the heart of their team.
In the training yard, Wraith and Astrid sparred fiercely — sparks flying from every clash of blade and gauntlet. The garden bloomed beside them, flowers swaying in the warm wind. Violet stood near the big tree, focused on her archery, arrows whistling with deadly precision.
Sam and Zyphus were nowhere to be seen — probably out scouting, or maybe arguing again about who's stronger.
Strom: "I think our team's ready to face anything."
Nia (soft smile): "I think so."
The Dragon Knight has returned to the team… and destiny was about to tremble once again.
Chapter 3 – The Plan
Inside the hall, the team gathered. The fireplace cracked quietly while the faint wind of October whispered through the windows.
Everyone was seated around the round oak table — Strom, Dravyss, Astrid, Wraith, Violet, and Nia, still resting but determined.
The mood was tense.
The story of the Five Snakes had just begun.
Nia: "And all five have… different abilities."
She drew a rough symbol on the table with her finger — a ring of five.
Nia: "Fire, Ground, Air, Darkness… and the last one — Ice. The biggest and strongest. I think it's their leader."
Dravyss (calm but sharp): "So they even have a weakness?"
Nia: "I don't know. But they're protecting a girl — and that girl is terrifying. She uses freezing powers… in the middle of a desert."
Wraith (grinning): "Heh, freezing powers? I'll handle her. Ice or frost — not a big deal for me."
Strom (arms crossed): "We can't rush this. Not until we know how they move."
Astrid (serious): "You mean five nightmares at once? Then my plan is simple — defend more, hit less. Because right now, I don't think we'll get the chance to strike."
The room went silent.
And then — the door burst open.
Sam and Zyphus finally arrived. Both covered in dust, but Zyphus stopped mid-step, eyes going wide as he spotted Nia.
His jaw? On ground.
His brain? Stunned.
Zyphus (whispering): "Who… is that… cutie?"
After dinner, the team rested — but not Zyphus. His curiosity was burning worse than any of those snakes.
He cornered Sam in the hallway, whispering like a spy.
Zyphus: "Hey bro, who is that cutie?"
Sam: "That's Nia. Our friend. Daughter of Mother Nature."
Zyphus (in awe): "Ohh… that's why she's beautiful. I've never seen such a young and cute girl."
Sam (sighing): "Young? Bro, you think she's 19. She's 19,000 years old."
Zyphus' soul literally left his body, floated halfway to heaven —
and then came back down.
Zyphus (recovering): "Well… maybe she likes young guys."
Sam: "Yeah, she already does. See?"
Zyphus turned his head toward the fire-lit room — and there she was, Nia, sitting comfortably while Strom poured her tea, smiling gently.
Zyphus (gritting teeth): "Ohh God… this guy again."
Sam: "Yep."
Zyphus: "Is there any girl alive for me that hasn't been rizzed by this man!?"
Sam: "Not in a five-mile radius, no."
Zyphus fell on the couch, face in hands.
Zyphus: "This can't be real… he pulled the daughter of nature now!?"
Sam (laughing): "Long story short — Nia was dying once. Strom saved her, took care of her, even ready to fight us just to protect her. Since then, their bond is unbreakable. She's playful and you know Strom. You? You don't have a chance."
Zyphus (determined): "At first Astrid was totally into him, but you still managed to survive that arc… and now, I'll manage this."
Sam: "Good luck. But remember — you're competing with Strom. He doesn't try. The universe itself does half his flirting for him."
Zyphus (cracking knuckles): "Mind it."
He looked across the room — Strom and Nia laughing softly, Dravyss smiling faintly, the fire reflecting in her eyes like an omen.
The night before war… and Zyphus started another
Chapter 4 – The Desert Tomb
The next morning, the team was locked in —
Armoured. Armed. Ready for war.
Dravyss had already taken her dragon form, wings stretching across the clouds.
Just before they could leave, Flowra came running toward them, holding something wrapped in cloth.
Astrid ( surprised ): "Mom! What is that?"
Flowra (breathing heavy): "You better put this to work… or it'll rot in the castle hall forever."
She unwrapped the cloth.
The morning light hit a shield — solid steel and copper, engraved with the Valkyrie crest at its center.
It gleamed like something sacred.
Flowra: "This belonged to your father. The king took it to me, said it would rest in the Hall of Flame in his honor after he sacrificed himself for our village. But… I think it's time to see the battle again."
Astrid froze for a second — then took it slowly, eyes locked on the crest.
Her father had once fought countless demons alone, saving the entire village before falling.
That shield was more than metal. It was a memory.
Astrid (clutching it proudly): "Let's go."
Dravyss roared once — the ground trembled — and the team ascended into the skies.
Flowra watched them rise, the morning sun glinting off their armor.
Her eyes were wet — not with fear… but with pride.
People said Astrid carried her father's shadow.
But Flowra knew… her daughter carried his flame.
It took them one and half day to reach the desert.
The air turned dry, the wind carried whispers of fear through the sand dunes.
The sun burned red — like it knew blood would be spilled here.
As they flew, Dravyss suddenly sensed something.
Not danger — not exactly — but an ancient pulse, like something calling her name from the bones of the earth.
Dravyss ( in her mind): "I should ignore it… but if it's something that helps in battle… maybe it's worth it.
If not, it'll be a waste of time… but my instincts never lie."
Curiosity won.
Dravyss lowered her wings and descended through a storm of golden sand.
Dravyss (to the team): "Travel on your own. I'll be back before the fight begins."
No one questioned her. Dravyss never lies — and everyone knows when she moves alone, fate itself shifts.
Now, Strom stood tall on the desert cliff, his pendant glimmering under the sun.
He adjusted his armor — forged from the scales of ancient dragons and tempered with mystic metal.
The Blue Spear, his weapon, shone with power — its blade crafted from Dravyss's own tail scale.
It was that bond that allowed her to always find him — even through miles of chaos.
When Strom wore his full gear, his presence radiated like a dragon reborn.
The true Dragon Knight and that's enough for Dravyss to locate him without his pendant.
The rest of the team continued on foot — since Nia was still injured, flying was not an option.
Sandstorms danced around them like ghosts as they marched toward the unknown.
High above them, Dravyss flew through the roaring sky — fast as a hunting hawk, wings slicing through clouds.
Something ancient was calling her name — pulling her toward destiny itself.
Chapter 5 – The Five Nightmares
The sun burned high above the endless desert.
Sand shimmered like fire, and the wind howled a warning no one could understand.
As the team walked, Nia continued her story — voice low, but sharp enough to cut through the storm.
Nia: "I've hunted many creatures in this desert… but I've never seen these five before. I think they were in deep sleep… until now."
Strom: "So basically, someone woke them up. Probably that girl you mentioned."
Sam: "If she woke them up, they'd kill her first. But they're protecting her instead — that doesn't make sense."
Wraith: "It's because she's connected to them. Maybe through the leader — the ice serpent. Her powers probably link to his."
Nia: "Maybe… or maybe not, I think we're missing something deeper. I can feel it — this isn't just a fight. It's a ritual maybe."
Zyphus: "Whatever it is, we better fight somewhere open. If this happens inside a village, people will die — and I hate that bullshit."
Violet: "Then use your old trick to make them leave the area."
Zyphus (grinning): "Already ahead of you."
Strom ( confused ): "What trick?"
Zyphus ( confident ): "Just watch, my boy. Just watch."
After hours of walking through dunes that swallowed the horizon, they finally reached a small village.
Beyond it stood a massive pyramid, glowing faintly with ancient runes.
At the top — the girl. Chanting.
And around her… five colossal serpents, coiled like mountains, guarding their master.
Strom: "Alright. First thing — clear the village. I don't want a single civilian in the crossfire."
Nia: "I don't think that'll help. I saw them before — she's not their prisoner. She's their queen. They worship her."
Wraith: "Still, if we fight here, innocent people will die."
Zyphus: "Leave that part to me."
Zyphus walked toward the village, casual as ever, a small sack hanging from his belt.
Only Violet knew what was coming — because she'd seen this chaotic magic trick before.
He stood in the middle of the street, hands on his hips.
Zyphus (yelling): "EVERYONE LISTEN UP!"
The villagers froze.
His voice wasn't angry — it was commanding. It carried the kind of tone that made even chaos pause to listen.
Zyphus ( Ordering ): "I'm buying this place. So pack your stuff and get the hell out of here!"
Everyone looked confused — until Zyphus tossed the sack.
It hit the ground with a heavy thud.
When it opened — diamonds spilled everywhere. Dozens. Maybe hundreds or even more.
They glimmered like stars fallen to sand.
Zyphus (snapping fingers): "They are enough here to buy this whole land twice. So move out — now!"
The villagers didn't argue. Within ten minutes, the entire place was empty.
Families gone, doors shut, silence returned.
The team stood there in disbelief.
Strom( can't believe what he just saw ): "Wait… did you just buy an entire village?"
Violet (laughing): "Yep. His old trick. Works every time."
Astrid: "How much money do you even have?"
Wraith: "Did you rob king to 'save his empire' or something?"
Strom: "No seriously — are you secretly a prince or what?"
Zyphus (grinning): "Nah! Bro. I'm just rich as fuck."
Everyone stared. Then laughed.
Even Strom — for a second — broke his stone-cold expression.
Meanwhile…
Far away from them, Dravyss had landed in front of an ancient cave, half-buried in the desert sand.
Its entrance breathed darkness — a silent, ancient warning.
The air felt heavy, like the past itself was watching her.
But for Dravyss, this wasn't fear.
She stepped inside without hesitation.
The ground trembled under her feet, shadows twisting along the walls.
To most, this would be a tomb.
To Dravyss — it felt like visiting an old friend's home.
Because Dravyss doesn't fear danger, but danger fears her.
Chapter 6 – Knight Style
The team reached the bottom of the massive pyramid.
Climbing it? Not happening. Too steep. Too heavy. Too… lazy.
Astrid: "Ohhh fuck me now! I can't climb this with all this weight — I'm just asking to get thrown again by that worm!"
Strom (grinning): "Don't worry. I got this. I'll piss her off from here."
Zyphus: "How?"
Strom: "Just watch, my boy."
With a flick of his arm, Strom hurled his spear at full force.
It sliced through the girl's magical book mid-air and returned to his hands in seconds — like it had a homing instinct.
Strom: "Done. She's mad now. She'll come here to fight. We don't have to climb."
Nia: "You are insane."
Wraith (smirking): "Classic move. Just disrespect them — works every time."
Strom: "Exactly. Now, let's move."
The ritual-breaker — Crysera, the frozen witch — leapt from the pyramid.
All her snakes followed. Their anger flared as one.
Crysera (mocking): "Who dares to break my ritual?"
Strom (smiling, helmet in hand): "It's me, mommy."
Crysera froze. She wasn't angry now — because she saw him.
Blue eyes. Sharp jawline. Tall, muscular. Charm radiating off him.
Instant crush.
But then she saw the team.
Crysera: "So… all of you are here to stop me? Clowns… and a handsome knight."
Wraith didn't talk but her glared at Strom was enough: "You invited her, didn't you?"
Strom (grinning): "Easy, Wraith. Not my fault."
Crysera (eyes widening as she recognized Wraith): "What? Wraith? How is this possible?"
Wraith ( confused ): "You know me?."
Crysera: "I thought you died… after my mom pushed you from the cliff."
Wraith ( remembering old time ): "Oh! So there's a bitch behind that? I thought it was my fault when I fell from the cliff when I was seven."
Astrid ( Shocked ): "You even survived that… at age seven?"
Crysera (angry now): "You dare insult my mother? I'll prove you're the bitch, not her!"
Strom (putting on helmet): "She's already…"
But even Strom's speed couldn't save him.
Wraith delivered a direct kick to his balls.
He collapsed.
Strom ( instant regret ): "Sorry!"
Wraith: "You didn't change, huh?"
Crysera a, fueled by jealousy and danger, tried a spell on Wraith — blocked easily by her gauntlet.
Wraith ( casual ): "Time's up."
The war begins.
Frontline: Astrid, Strom, Zyphus
Weak points & strategy: Wraith, using her blur speed
Ranged support: Violet, Sam
Heavy hitter
Nia, transforming into her Gorgon form
This was no normal fight.
Crysera didn't want to hurt Strom — but she wanted his team dead.
Only three snakes joined: Ground, Darkness, and Fire.
The Air and Ice snakes stayed back, alone, guarding Crysera.
Chapter 7 – The Real Guardians
The desert echoed with chaos—the Dragon Knight team was unleashed in full glory.
Each warrior held their ground, blades and roars shaking the sand as the Five Nightmares awoke.
Nia, in her colossal Gorgon form, and Strom, The Dragon Knight himself, were battling Ignis, the Fire Serpent.
Zyphus, Sam, and Violet faced terragor, the Earth Serpent.
Wraith and Astrid clashed with Umbraxis, the Serpent of Darkness.
Above them waited Vanquisher the Serpent of Air, and Ieqza, the Ice Serpent—the leader guardians.
And behind them all, stood Crysera, the Frozen Witch.
But her eyes weren't filled with hatred—they were lost in Strom's presence. She couldn't bring herself to kill him.
The battle raged.
Nia sank her fangs into Ignis's neck, while Strom drove his spear deep into its tail—its molten scales cracked but didn't fall.
Ignis coiled around them, his burning body scorching the air.
Nia tried to resist, but her strength faded—her body was forced back into human form.
The serpent hurled her skyward, but before she hit the ground, Strom caught her mid-air, taking full impact himself.
Strom (grinning): "No time to Die."
Zyphus (from afar, groaning): "It should've been me, not him…"
Elsewhere, Wraith and Astrid tore through the shadows.
Wraith's blue blur speed danced through the coils of darkness—one cut, one vanish, one strike.
Astrid slammed her shield into the serpent's jaw, breaking its teeth with sheer force.
The ground cracked beneath her as the creature fell.
Zyphus and Sam rained chaos—lightning, fire, sandstorms—and Violet's arrows multiplied in midair like a divine storm, pinning the massive serpent down.
The desert trembled under their power.
Crysera's frozen eyes widened.
She had underestimated them all—these weren't mortals. These were legends.
Nia, daughter of nature itself. The one who has hunted Thousands of mystical creatures alone.
Sam, The elite mage whose spells could rewrite the battlefield in seconds.
Violet, The fastest archer alive—her arrows are faster than sound.
Zyphus, The Diamond Knight—twin spears movements like shadows and sharp as razors.
Astrid, the red-haired Valkyrie—whose strength shattered monsters in a single punch.
Wraith, The fastest blue demon alive—cutting through reality like air.
And Strom, The Dragon Knight—strength of a god, blood of a dragon and heart of a warrior.
But then, Crysera whispered a single command.
Crysera: "Vanquisher. Ieqza. End them."
The two strongest serpents descended—the desert froze and roared at once.
Ieqza froze time itself. The air, the sand, even the mana in the wind turned solid.
Zyphus's legs froze, and a brutal tail strike shattered his armor—he collapsed instantly.
Astrid and Violet charged in—Violet's dodge saved her life, but her arm snapped under the force of ice.
Wraith tried to hold Vanquisher alone, but the air serpent was too fast. He snatched her, crushing her bones slowly until Crysera stopped him—
Crysera (coldly): "Don't… kill her."
Terragor and Ignis cornered Nia again. She tried to crawl away, but Ignis's tail slammed her down—blood spilled across the sand.
Sam fired spell after spell, until a gust from Vanquisher sent him crashing into a dune, spine nearly broken.
The battlefield fell silent.
The team lay scattered, bleeding, and broken.
Only Strom stood—alone against five serpents and a Witch.
He hurled several Rocks sky high, splitting the clouds—then drove his hand down.
A storm of asteroids rained from the sky, his ultimate technique.
But the serpents stood unfazed.
The witch raised her hand—and they all froze mid-motion.
Crysera stepped toward Wraith, pulling off her cracked helmet.
Wraith swung a phantom claw—but Crysera caught her wrist and twisted until it snapped.
Crysera: "You don't know how much I've waited to kill you after I realised you are alive."
Wraith (spitting blood): "Who… are you?"
Crysera's expression darkened.
The serpents froze in place. The air turned cold.
Crysera: "Stop."
Everything halted. Even Strom stood surrounded—five serpents circling like gods of death.
Crysera stepped forward (softly): "Why fight me, Strom?"
Meanwhile, deep in the ancient desert cave, Dravyss uncovered something impossible—
ancient carvings telling the true history of the Five Serpents.
Her dragon eyes widened as she realized what they really were… and who Crysera truly is.
Without wasting another breath, she spread her wings.
Dravyss: "If what I read is true… then this fight isn't about the present—
…it's about the past."
The sky shook as she took flight—
Chapter 8 – The End is near
Crysera: "You must be wondering why I'm doing this, Strom… It's not because I want power. I just wanted my mother back."
Strom: "Your mother? What happened to her?"
Crysera looked down, her voice trembling.
"She was a wonderful witch… she loved snakes and called them her friends. But when I was born, everything changed. I was weak — dying even. The only way to save me was through the power of a royal blue demon. My mother took everything from Wraith… just to keep me alive. Then she threw her off the cliff, thinking she'd killed her. I don't know how Wraith survived."
Strom: "And your mother?"
Crysera: "She saved me… but she started dying because of the power of demons. I tried to find a cure, but one day, she was gone. Only a letter remained — a map leading to a dark cave. When I went there, I saw them — five serpents, waiting. My mother had sold her soul to bind them as my guardians. One day, they awoke… and a voice spoke. He told me how to free him, and in return, he promised me that my mother will come back to me."
Strom: "Crysera… those who die never come back."
Crysera: "Maybe. But there's always hope… until you slice my book."
Crysera: "It's fine. You deserve better than her anyway, Strom. Don't worry — I'd never hurt you. You've got such a big heart. You even help your enemies if they need. Then why fight me?"
Strom: "Because you chose the wrong path. You could've started a new life… made friends."
Crysera took a slow step closer: "Will you be mine then, Strom? I swear, I'll never make you fall. I'll give you the love you deserve. I tried to kill her because she hurt you! I just wanted to protect you!"
Strom: "Crysera listen to me! You can change yourself, there is no need to be cruel, I'm here , we can be friends.
Wraith ( angry ): "You're going to pay!"
Before Strom could react, Crysera's hand flashed — an ice spike shot out and pierced Wraith's stomach deep.
Crysera: "See? She's weak. I can protect you, Strom. Please… stay. I love you."
She fell to her knees, her blood freezing on the ground.
Wraith: "Strom… no… what are you doing?"
Strom's eyes turned cold: "Shut up, weak demoness!."
Wraith's voice cracked: "Strom…!"
Crysera (surprised): "You..you really joined me… I.. I..can't describe how happy I am."
She wrapped her arms around him, and Strom hugged her back.
Wraith (heart shattered): "What did I do wrong, Strom? I trusted you… you were my world. And you're leaving me when I need you the most?"
Strom: "What's wrong with that? You're weak. But her… she's strong. She's beautiful. Maybe this is the love I always needed."
Crysera's tears turned to laughter: "I've never heard words so sweet… maybe this really is true love."
Strom: "Yes… it is."
Crysera: "Then what do we do with her?, let's kill that Bitch!"
Strom: "I know exactly what to do."
He walked toward Wraith. She looked up, broken. Ready to die because she blames herself for this, she always act Rough to Strom that's why Strom is ready for a new love , someone who falls for him.
Strom extended his hand gently: "Darling… come here."
Crysera's heart skipped — her dream was coming true. She rushed forward, her hand ready to touch his hand.
But The Dragon Knight never betrays his heart.
As she reached him, Strom yanked her forward and unleashed a brutal punch — it cracked like thunder. Crysera crashed into the ground, stunned.
Wraith froze in disbelief — Strom never left her.
Strom (reached out to Wraith, his voice rough, pure but real): "I'm only yours… Bitch."
Wraith didn't get angry. She broke into tears and hugged him tightly, her heart finally calming.
Crysera stood back up, her face cold and hollow: "What's my fault, Strom? Don't I deserve love too?"
Strom: "To gain love, you must show love. What you feel isn't love — it's an obsession."
Crysera's voice cracked, breaking into madness: "You broke me, Strom! If I can't have love, I'll destroy everything!"
She raised her hands — the ground cracked, the air froze. The five serpents emerged, towering, their scales burning with dark energy.
Crysera (screamed): "I don't care anymore! You all will die here!"
Strom gripped Wraith's hand tight: "Then I'll die with her… but never ever live with you."
Crysera (Expression twisted with rage): "Then die, both of you!"
The serpents roared — thunder shook the ruins, dust rising into clouds.
Five monstrous heads stared down at the lovers.
Strom raised his spear, blue flames burning through his eyes.
Wraith's aura ignited beside him.
Crysera: "Let the end begin."
The Dragon Knight stepped forward, smiling coldly.
Strom: "Then let's finish this… once and for all."
Chapter 9 – The Strongest Guardian
The ground shook under their feet.
Five serpents, ancient and monstrous, slithered closer — their roars shaking the world, their eyes glowing like dying stars.
Strom stepped forward, spear blazing blue: "Wraith, ready?"
Wraith (smirked): "Always."
But before they could move, a deafening roar echoed from the heavens — one that made even the serpents freeze.
A blinding flash tore the sky apart as Dravyss, the Guardian Knight of Dragons, descended like a comet wrapped in blue fire.
The air itself bent around her presence.
Crysera staggered back, eyes wide: "What… what is this?"
Strom ( confident ): "Meet my guardian."
Crysera: "You have only one dragon… I have five. She'll fall tonight."
The ground split as the battle began — one dragon versus five serpents.
The Clash
Dravyss roared, her wings spreading wide enough to cover the sky.
Each serpent moved with deadly grace, each with a unique power — and weakness.
Terragor, the Earth Serpent — his scales were unbreakable, but he could not withstand raw brutal impact.
Ignis, the Flame Serpent — his own fire was his pride, but heat hotter than his own would destroy him.
Vanquisher, the Air healer — could not regenerate if his body was torn apart too fast.
Umbraxis, the Assassin — deadly in stealth, but his skull was his only fragile point.
Ieqza, the King Serpent — no weakness, no mercy, pure chaos incarnate.
Dravyss vs. the Serpents
The ground cracked as all five lunged at once. Even Dravyss stumbled — five titans against one, this wasn't a fair fight.
Strom ( shocked ): "No… this can't be real. My Dragon can't lose!"
Crysera ( Smiling ): "I told you! You all are going to die tonight!"
Wraith: "Mom! They've hurt your children!"
Something inside Dravyss snapped.
Her eyes flared into burning cosmic blue — and rage consumed her heart.
Dravyss"You touched my children…"
Her aura exploded. The shockwave shattered the ground and sent all five serpents flying back.
Dravyss launched herself into the sky, grabbing terragor by the neck his weight was too heavy but somehow she still managed to tear the sky.
She hurled him upward, then dove — faster than lightning — slamming him into the earth.
The impact carved a crater like a meteor strike.
Terragor' s body shattered — the first serpent fell.
Next came Umbraxis. He tried to vanish in smoke — but Dravyss' tail whipped through the shadows, pinning him to the ground.
Her claws slammed into his skull — one punch, and his head exploded into dust digging the ground with dark black blood.
Two down.
Vanquisher came next, blades made of bone slicing the air and Dravyss scales.
She caught them mid-strike — her claws flashed again and again, each blow deeper, faster, until the serpent's body tore apart.
She ripped off his head and tossed it into the fire of ignis.
Three down.
Ignis roared, his flames turning the battlefield into a sea of flames that burning everything.
Dravyss (laughed): "A worm can't burn a dragon… but a dragon can burn worlds."
Her cosmic blue flame ignited — fire that burned hotter than the sun itself.
Ignis screamed as his body melted and lava dripping like blood.
Four down.
But Ieqza — the strongest, the leader — wrapped himself around Dravyss.
Her bones cracked and wings bent.
She roared in pain but then bit into his neck, forcing him to release her.
Her body expanded, her true dragon from towering like a god.
Dravyss: "You have no weakness, Ieqza… but you're still nothing in front of me."
Ieqza lunged on her with full force— but Dravyss caught his massive jaws, one hand on each side.
Her muscles strained red, the sky thundered with her Strength.
Dravyss: "Bye bye."
With one brutal motion, she ripped him apart from jaw to tail.
The sound echoed like a mountain collapsing.
Five down.
The Serpents of Crysera… were gone.
Crysera stumbled toward the broken body of Ieqza, tears streaming down her face.
Crysera: "No… no, please not you! You were everything I had!"
Strom: "You chose the wrong path. That's why they had to pay, there is still time you can change yourself."
Crysera (glared up in pure rage, eyes glowing red): "You took everything from me… I know I can't kill you, Strom, but I won't let you live happily!"
She raised her hand — but before she could cast the spell —
Wraith's Silver Blaze Sword came flying like lightning, piercing Crysera's heart in one perfect strike.
Crysera ( Dying, whispering): "I'm coming mom!"
Wraith( satisfied ): "I love killing witches."
Crysera gasped, light fading from her eyes as a blue-white aura escaped her body — and flowed straight into Wraith.
The witch collapsed.
Wraith stood in silence, her eyes glowing bright blue before fading back to normal.
The air around her froze — even the sand turned cold. ❄️
Strom: "You okay?"
Wraith ( hiding pain ): "Yeah… totally."
Strom ( in his mind ): "You deserve a better place Crysera, I hope you found your mother in a different world and live happily without pain."
They looked around — the battlefield quiet, only smoke and silence.
Dravyss lowered herself, folding her wings, her eyes soft again.
Dravyss: "It's over… come home."
And for once, after all the chaos and heartbreak —
The Dragon Knight family walked home together.
Aftermath – The Morning After the End
The next day, silence covered the battlefield ruins.
Everyone was half-dead, scattered across the room like broken legends.
The battle had nearly killed them all — especially Nia, whose body still hadn't fully healed from being literally crushed in human form mid-fight.
She was resting now, her head gently on Strom's shoulder.
Strom raised an eyebrow at Zyphus, who was sitting nearby, pretending to meditate but clearly jealous.
Zyphus cracked his knuckles, looked away with a silent vow.
Zyphus (in his head): "You win this round, Strom… but I'm not giving up."
The calm was perfect — until Strom opened his mouth.
Strom( teasing ): "Come on, guys. Tomorrow's my birthday and you all look like helpless corpses."
Sam (groaned, his whole body wrapped in bandages): "It'd be better if you shut your mouth, oh 'lady magnet'. That witch literally fell in love with you, and while you were busy flirting, we were out here dying like real legends."
Strom: "Okay, okay, I might not have fought the hardest… but let's be honest — Strom, The Dragon Knight, can impress literally anyone in seconds."
Violet: "Yeah! But my question is why is it always you? All demons, witches, Valkyries, humans and even goddesses fall for you?"
Astrid: "Don't ask me. I'm Valkyrie."
The room went quiet for a second — then everyone started laughing through the pain.
Even Wraith chuckled softly from her bed, one hand still on her bandaged ribs.
They were bruised, broken, and bleeding… but they were alive.
The war was over.
And as everyone drifted into a rare, peaceful rest — one truth echoed in their minds:
No matter how bad it gets, Strom can still rizz anyone, anywhere, anytime with no effort.
