"Help, please some body help". A woman shouted as they dragged her away from the house. A young girl was awakened by the piercing scream of her mother echoing throughout the room. she stood up and immediately ran to the direction of the noise hoping to help her mother. "Mama where are you".
Her tiny legs paced up and down searching every corner of the house but to no avail. The little girl suddenly heard a commotion outside and ran toward it only to see her mother tied to a pole and a flaming straw put under her feet ready to burn her. The streets and everywhere was dark and the only thing illuminating the place was the flames threating to burn her mother. She began running toward her with all of her strength stumbling a few times. she could see it, she was so close to saving her, she was so close to ending her suffering, but a group of men stopped her from reaching her mother.
"No let me go, I said let me go". The little girl kicked and shouted but her screams fell on deaf ears. "aren't you listening she's about to die, my mama is about to die"
"Will you stop this we are trying to save you from that witch". one of the men that was holding her said.
another beside that man said. "Guy don't be harsh on the kid she is about to lose her mother, and she does not even understand what is going on". The little girl continued to kick and shout until her mother was burnt to ashes. Throughout all the villagers could do was to shout, "Burn her"
and other screamed. "Yes, she is a filthy Sylvan burn her". As her skin turned to ash and so did her bones the villagers did nothing but to spit insults at her and mock her final moment. The Little girl saw it all, she saw her mother being burned right in front of her and tears streamed down her eyes, to her it felt like her whole world has just crumbled. Her whole body was no more, even her bones could not be seen. After the villages made sure that nothing of her remained the men restricting her let the girl go. Immediately she was free she ran; she ran as fasts as she can as tears continued to pour and her remaining resolve crumbled. She stared down at her mother's ashes in horror and with tears that seem to never end. She crouched down and her hand touched the ashes of what was once her mother. After some time, she looked up at the villagers and spoke. "What has my Mama ever done to you? she hasn't killed; she hasn't coveted what was not hers so why?".
From the Croud someone said. "She was a Sylvan thank the gods we took her out of your life Dawn". The words of that man didn't seem to calm her down as he thought but only infuriated her the more. She stood up and spoke. "Which filthy Sylvan? she had no horns and wings but yet you still say such things about her? You all deserve death; no, you deserve to be burned by the same flames my mother was burned in".
One of them walked towards and gave her a resounding slap, the whole village was shocked but knew the little girl deserved what she got. Dawn looked up in shock and said, "Grandma she was your daughter".
"That thing can never be my daughter not in this life or the next". Dawns screams became louder and louder troughing and destroying everything in her path even pushing her own grandmother to the ground, it became too much so eventually they had to knock her out.
