Chapter 100 - Chapter 100 Becoming the New Dragon King

"Oh my god~!"

Stoick exclaimed, feeling his vision go black as his massive body swayed twice. Luckily, a Dragon Knight beside him was quick to react and steady him.

Recovering, Stoick immediately shouted excitedly, "Hiccup once told me he was Odin's messenger! So he didn't die at all. He just went to report on this battle to Odin!"

"Hahaha! Hahaha! Thank Odin for his blessing, for not taking my Hiccup!"

Hiccup watched the people on shore continuously praying and suddenly felt bewildered, not understanding why they were praying out of the blue.

In Hiccup's understanding, he had only been unconscious for a few minutes and didn't feel like he had wasted too much time.

However, after waking up, the scene before him was perplexing. Through the system's records, Hiccup roughly understood why he was placed on a raft and why his own father would set him on fire to kill him.

It turned out they just thought he was dead.

After landing, Stoick immediately embraced Hiccup, while Astrid, standing nearby, opened her arms then awkwardly drew them back.

She then looked enviously at Hiccup and his father embracing, as Astrid's family only had her left…

"It's great, Hiccup! You're not dead! It's truly wonderful!" Stoick said incoherently.

The Viking Warriors around him were also mumbling incoherently, but there were too many people and too much noise to hear clearly.

But generally, they were all thanking Odin for his blessing.

Hiccup struggled to push Stoick away and said, "I am Odin's divine messenger! I haven't even led Berk Island to prosperity and strength yet, so how could he let me leave?"

Upon hearing this, the Viking Warriors present became even more certain of their thoughts, and their faith in Odin became purer and more fervent.

Because they had witnessed a miracle, they believed that if they were devout enough, they too could resurrect like Hiccup.

At the same time, the way they looked at Hiccup changed dramatically. This included the Dragon Knights who unconditionally obeyed orders.

Because they all believed Hiccup was Odin's divine messenger, the witness to their faith!

Therefore, for them, Hiccup's words were equivalent to Odin speaking to them.

Now, having witnessed a miracle, they would absolutely obey Hiccup's commands without question, even if he told them to eat rocks, they would definitely do it without hesitation.

Feeling their strange gazes, Hiccup's mood was also very complex, but this was good as it would save a lot of unnecessary trouble.

Moreover, as long as these people could obey orders, entering the age of civilization would be much easier, and Berk Island would no longer be a scattered mess like before.

If he wanted to launch a war, these people would definitely fanatically take up arms and follow him to fight, risking life and limb.

As he thought of this, Hiccup's lips curved into a smile, because there would be no shortage of battles ahead, only intervals due to time constraints.

Everyone was immersed in the joy of witnessing a miracle. They all believed they were the luckiest believers, having personally witnessed Hiccup's resurrection.

Hiccup didn't explain much, simply stood beside Stoick, and said to the crowd before him, "Gather!"

Upon hearing the command, everyone quickly formed ranks, then fixed their gaze on Hiccup, awaiting his next order!

Looking at the scene before him, Hiccup couldn't help but murmur, "The power of faith is truly strong! These people have become so obedient!"

Then Hiccup calmly commanded, "Release all these captured Dragons!"

"Everyone retreat to the warships and wait for me!"

Now that he had gone to such great lengths to defeat the Dragon King, he couldn't let the Dragons on Dragon Island return to their wild state.

Wouldn't all his efforts be in vain?

So he flipped onto Night Fury's back, then rose into the air, saying to Night Fury, "We defeated Red Death, you are the new Dragon King of this Dragon Island!"

"Quickly gather your subordinates!"

When Night Fury heard this, he looked at Hiccup excitedly, with his tongue hanging out, as if he couldn't believe the fact before him.

"Roar! Roar! Roar!"

Night Fury continuously spat three blue-purple fireballs into the sky, then circled above the volcano, constantly emitting excited Dragon roars.

More and more Dragons followed Night Fury, circling and flying, as if accompanying their monarch to survey the world.

"Roar~~~~~!"

Night Fury let out a long roar, and all the Dragons appeared before Night Fury, forming a Dragon wall as far as the eye could see.

The types of Dragons on Dragon Island were also quite complete, with many rare species mixed among the group of Dragons.

Hiccup stood steadily on Night Fury's back, looking directly at the group of Dragons before him. Then he said in Dragon Language, "I defeated Red Death! You shall submit or die!"

"Roar~!"

Night Fury also let out a threatening Dragon roar in cooperation with Hiccup!

"Whoosh~~"

These Dragons, like autumn leaves, descended to the ground one after another, then folded their wings and lowered their proud heads.

In just a few breaths, only Night Fury remained in the sky!

"Roar~!"

Night Fury let out a Dragon roar, and the Dragons below all raised their heads and responded with a Dragon roar.

Hiccup could understand Dragon Language, which roughly translated to: "Greetings, great new Dragon King!"

This scene left all the Viking Warriors on the warship wide-mouthed in astonishment, unable to recover for a long time.

Especially the Dragon Knights who were assigned binoculars; their hearts surged with emotion when they saw this scene.

Because the man being worshipped by ten thousand Dragons was their captain, the guardian of Berk Island, their hero, and also Odin's divine messenger.

Stoick kept muttering, "Oh my god~, this must be Odin's guidance!"

"This must be Odin's blessing! Hiccup, you must not disappoint Odin!"

Then, one of the Viking Warriors suddenly shouted at the top of his lungs, "Lord Messenger!"

This was a fervent cry of adoration, which also ignited the passion of the other Viking Warriors!

They too raised their arms and shouted loudly, "Lord Messenger!"

"Lord Messenger!"

"Lord Messenger!"

Everyone became more and more excited with each shout, their expressions growing more fervent, as if they wished they could always stay by Hiccup's side and support him.
