Episode 2 — "The First Bite"
Rooftop — 10:45 AM
Tanu turns slowly.
Standing behind her is Jake, the school's easy-going troublemaker with a lazy smile — except now his smile is gone. His face is pale, eyes darting to the street below.
"Don't just stand here," he says. "Something's… wrong down there."
She raises an eyebrow. "You think I didn't notice?"
Jake stares at her for a beat, like he's trying to figure out whether she's scared or just weirdly calm.
A sudden crash from the apartment building interrupts them — a glass window shattering, followed by a figure tumbling out, hitting the pavement with a sickening thud.
The body doesn't stay still.

Courtyard — 10:46 AM
Guddu grabs Ushika's hand.
"We need to go to my place — my brother's inside!" Guddu says.
Ushika hesitates. "Are you sure it's safe?"
Guddu shoots her a glare. "Does this look safe?" She gestures to the bloodied man staggering closer.
Across the yard, Jungwon is still on his phone.
"Pick up, Hana… pick up!"
The line finally connects — but instead of his girlfriend's voice, he hears heavy breathing, then a deep, animal growl. His face drains of color.

Assembly Hall — 10:48 AM
Suhyeok and Minjae sprint inside, slamming the door shut.
Minjae: "What the hell was that thing?"
Suhyeok: "Not waiting to find out."
They head for the storeroom, just like in the intro. Inside, Suhyeok leans against the wall, thinking.
"Minjae… that guy at the gate—his eyes were black."
Minjae swallows. "Black?"
"Like he wasn't human anymore."

Rooftop — 10:50 AM
Tanu and Jake are crouched behind the railing now, watching as more figures — staggering, jerking unnaturally — pour into the street. Some are chasing the fleeing students, others are clawing at cars.
Jake whispers, "We need to get to the main building. My locker's there… I've got something we can use."
Tanu: "What?"
Jake: "…A baseball bat. Don't ask."
Before they can move, the stairwell door bursts open.
It's Sunghoon — the quiet guy with the permanent poker face. He looks between them.
"You're both idiots if you think going downstairs is safer."

Coffee Shop — 10:55 AM (flashback before the chaos)
The TV news cuts to footage of another city — people attacking each other, blood everywhere.
Guddu mutters, "Looks like one of those zombie dramas."
Ushika: "Don't joke."
Then her phone buzzes — a text from Krati: "Meet me after class. Got something important."

Courtyard — Present — 10:56 AM
A scream pierces the air. The bloodied man finally catches a student — biting deep into her shoulder. She collapses instantly, twitching.
Guddu and Ushika freeze, horrified. Then the girl on the ground jerks upright — her head snapping toward them.
Ushika whispers, "We… we have to run."
From the second-floor window, Jungwon sees the scene — and spots Tanu on the rooftop. Their eyes meet for a brief second before a shadow passes behind him.

Apartment Building — 10:58 AM
Inside the apartment across from the school, Krati is peeking through the curtains. She's been home sick all morning. Her phone vibrates again — this time from an unknown number.
She answers.
A raspy voice says: "Don't open the door. Not for anyone."
She freezes — because there's already knocking.

Rooftop — 11:00 AM
Jake: "Alright, new plan. We stay up here."
Sunghoon: "Bad idea. Supplies won't come to us. The infected will."
Tanu tilts her head. "Infected?"
Sunghoon looks her dead in the eye. "Call it whatever you want. But once they bite, you're done."
From below, they hear a bone-chilling sound — the school's front gates slamming shut.
Someone has locked them in.
