Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – Arrival at U.A.

The hum of fluorescent lights filled the silence of Class 1-A's morning. Conversations tapered off, replaced by that awkward quiet when everyone knew something was about to happen.

The door slid open.

Aizawa stepped inside, scarf draped lazily around his shoulders, eyes as tired as ever. But the real disruption came from the person behind him.

Kael entered without hesitation, each step slow and deliberate, as though time itself had no authority over him. His hands rested in his pockets, posture loose, expression unreadable. He looked over the room with the kind of disinterest you'd expect from someone flipping through channels on a TV.

His gaze lingered on no one in particular, but somehow every student felt it — that uncomfortable sensation of being seen in ways they couldn't describe.

"Listen up," Aizawa said, cutting through the tension. "This is Kael. He'll be… joining us for a while."

Kael's eyes flicked toward Aizawa with the faintest smirk, like the words were a private joke only he understood.

The students exchanged looks. Mina leaned toward Kaminari."He doesn't look like a transfer student…""He looks like he owns the place," Kaminari whispered back.

Todoroki's mismatched eyes followed Kael with quiet intensity. Bakugo, on the other hand, was already glaring like he'd found a new rival.

Kael yawned. Loudly.

"Man," he said at last, his voice calm but carrying across the room. "I thought this was going to be more exciting."

The words weren't arrogant — not exactly — but they dripped with a boredom that set the room on edge.

"Oh?" Aizawa's voice was flat. "And what were you expecting?"

Kael tilted his head slightly, as if searching for the right answer."I don't know… something more challenging? I mean, no offense, but—" His eyes swept lazily over the class. "—I've been to places where reality itself is harder to deal with than any 'hero training.'"

Murmurs rippled through the room. Uraraka frowned."Reality…? What does that even mean?"

"Means you wouldn't get it," Kael replied without looking at her, his tone neither cruel nor kind — just final.

Aizawa sighed. "Just give them the short version. Your Quirk."

Kael stepped forward, leaning lightly against the teacher's desk."It's called Anchor. In simple terms? I… keep things stable. Think of reality as a giant tapestry — threads of time, space, cause, and effect. I can… adjust those threads. Nudge them. Replace them if I feel like it."

He said it so casually, like he was explaining how to fix a crooked picture frame."Of course," he added with a faint smirk, "there's more to it. But I don't feel like giving a lecture today."

The room was silent. Even Bakugo wasn't yelling yet — he was too busy trying to figure out if this guy was serious.

"You're telling me you can rewrite reality?" Midoriya finally asked, his voice shaky.

Kael shrugged. "Not telling you anything you can prove."

Aizawa cut in, ending the moment. "Sit anywhere. And try not to cause trouble."

Kael moved to the back of the room, eyes drifting lazily over the windows, the ceiling, the clock — like he'd already played this scene before and was just waiting for something interesting to happen.

He slouched into his seat, muttering under his breath, "Well… let's see if this school's as fun as I thought."

And though no one could quite put their finger on it, every single person in Class 1-A felt the same thing:

This wasn't a hero, or a villain.This was something else.Something dangerous.And he was bored.
