Chapter 7 - Caught in Bed

West Blue.

A warship was sailing at a steady speed.

Several seagulls perched on the deck railing.

On the horizon, the outline of a military base gradually appeared.

Gion slowly stood up and said faintly,

"...We're almost there."

Kaji, who had been sleeping soundly on the table next to her, also yawned and got up.

"Finally, we're here. Days of sailing have exhausted me."

The signalman on the warship's lookout blew his bugle, and soon after, the same bugle call echoed from the 104th Navy Branch.

Gion turned to the Marines behind her and said,

"Form ranks! Prepare to disembark!"

Soon, the warship slowly sailed into the port of the 104th Navy Branch.

The Marine soldiers at the port were all fully armed, spirited, and enthusiastic, arranged in neat, uniform lines.

This undoubtedly indicated that this Marine branch was extraordinary.

As Gion led the Marines off the warship,

"Salute!" The Marines waiting below all saluted in unison as a welcoming ceremony.

"These West Blue Marines... They don't seem simple."

Gion and Kaji also scrutinized the Marine soldiers saluting in neat formation on both sides, commenting.

However, the Marine soldiers before them were all spirited, with resolute eyes, and their firearms and sabers were all high-grade.

Compared to the Marineford Marines, they were no less impressive.

Something's not right... That guy named Allen, he can train Marines to this level?

Gion and Kaji exchanged glances, both filled with doubt.

At this moment, a man in his twenties, wearing a Marine cap, with a rank of Lieutenant Commander on his shoulder, approached Gion and the others.

"Lieutenant Commander Wester, nice to meet you for the first time."

Gion extended her hand, her eyes appraising the short-haired, resolute-faced man, as relevant information appeared in her mind.

Vist, Branch Lieutenant Commander, Deputy Commander of the West Blue 104th Branch, Bernadotte Allen's adjutant.

Vist also grasped Gion's hand and said seriously,

"Welcome, Colonel Gion and Colonel Kaji."

Facing an officer from Marineford, and from the inspection team at that, represented the authority of Marineford, at least Vist couldn't afford to offend them.

"We are all colleagues, no need to be so formal."

Gion looked around, then looked at Vist with some confusion.

"Why don't I see Colonel Allen?"

Vist stammered,

"Colonel Allen was on a mission very late last night, he should still be resting now."

On a mission?

Gion frowned.

At this moment, she also noticed that there was already a ship docked in the port before them.

The kingdom's emblem on the ship's flag, as well as the ship's style and decorative ribbons, clearly indicated it belonged to a noblewoman.

"Is this... a ship from the Navistar Kingdom?"

Gion recognized the kingdom's emblem.

A noblewoman from the Navistar Kingdom, appearing at the 104th Navy Branch...

That damn guy...

The answer seemed obvious.

Gion also recalled what she had heard at headquarters, combined with the information about his problematic lifestyle.

The closer she got, the stronger that feeling became, and Gion pressed her hand against the golden famous sword "Gin" at her waist.

If it's true, I'll definitely kill this scoundrel!

Kaji next to her shivered directly, involuntarily shrinking his non-existent neck.

Looking at Gion, whose aura was gradually turning cold in front, this was a sign of her anger.

Mourn for Allen for three seconds...

104th Navy Branch,

Inside a room.

Allen leaned against the headboard, lit a cigar.

Beside him, an extremely beautiful young woman was drawing circles on Allen's chest with her slender hand.

Yes, it was another noblewoman, the wife of the Navistar Kingdom's prime minister—Diweika.

"That bitch Mavia actually cheated behind my back..."

Allen ignored Diweika's complaints, smoking his cigar and exercising his grip.

"...Aren't you good sisters?"

Feeling the strange sensation from her body, Diweika rolled her eyes at him.

"Last time we clearly agreed to come together, but she came by herself behind my back."

Then, she coquettishly said to Allen,

"Lord Allen... next time you're free, you must call me first..."

"I... I promise to be there whenever you call..."

Allen slapped her, and there was a "slap" sound.

"...Then will you be obedient?"

Diweika looked at Allen with anticipation, her eyes sparkling:

"I will definitely be obedient..."

Hearing the desired answer, Allen also smiled and replied,

"Then be obedient, don't call..."

Diweika pretended to be angry and turned her back to Allen.

"Hmph... Lord Allen only knows how to bully me."

Just as Allen was about to speak, he felt a chill run down his spine. This feeling was all too familiar; he always had such a warning whenever he encountered danger.

He immediately flipped out of bed.

Just then—

Swish!

The room door was directly cut in half, and a flying slash went straight towards the headboard where he had just been.

The pillow was instantly cut in half by the slash, and the feathers inside scattered throughout the room.

As white feathers drifted down, a tall, black-haired figure walked in furiously, a cold voice mixed with anger coming from her.

"Colonel Allen, as a Marine officer, you represent the face of the Marine, and... you... you actually do such things within the base."

"...You're simply incorrigible!!!"

Looking at the young woman in front of him, to be honest, Allen was momentarily lost in thought.

Gion, gripping the famous sword "Gin", glanced at the woman on the bed, who was huddled in a ball, her eyes almost spitting fire, and said through gritted teeth:

"This is the wife of the Navistar Kingdom's prime minister!"

"Aren't you afraid of causing political conflict?"

Compared to Gion, who grew up protected from a young age, she had never seen such indecent and scandalous things; it was simply outrageous.

Looking at Allen, who was naked from the waist up, and the woman curled up on the bed, anyone would know what had happened between them.

A man and a woman alone in a room, what else could they do? Of course, they would do what lovers do!

Kaji, standing behind her, his eyes widened, staring intently at the curvaceous woman on the bed, also looking at Allen with great anger.

"...Is she really the Prime Minister's wife???"

Kaji's reason for anger was vastly different from Gion's.

Beast!!!

Why does that brat Allen get to have this??

General Kizaru, I haven't even tried such a noblewoman, why has this guy Allen already had his fill...

He looked at Lady Diweika, who was secretly peeking out from the bed; her appearance was truly mature, charming, and still alluring, especially her seductive figure.

Baka yaro! I'm clearly more handsome, why don't I have such luck!!

Most importantly, this is the Prime Minister's wife!

Married woman, young woman, noble, all the buffs are stacked.

This is simply...

This identity...

Just thinking about it is exciting, isn't it...

Ah ah ah... Why isn't it me standing there!

Kaji also said through gritted teeth, his face full of envy:

"Colonel Allen, isn't this a bit improper?"

Gion also noticed Kaji's change in expression and glared at him directly.

Allen also put on his cloak,

"So it's Colonel Gion and Colonel Kaji from Marineford."

"Welcome to the 104th Branch!"

Gion ignored him, staring coldly at Allen, her "Gin" pointing directly at Allen's face, and looking at Diweika on the bed, she said:

"I'm very sorry, Lady Diweika."

"I am a member of the inspection team from Marineford, Colonel Gion. Please rest assured, we will thoroughly investigate and punish this without leniency!"

Facing a Marine parasite like Allen, a black sheep, Gion wished she could take him down on the spot, and just as she was about to make a move.

Lady Diweika hastily interrupted Gion, looking at Allen with a shy face, and whispered:

"Um... Colonel Gion, I'm here voluntarily, please, please don't make trouble for Lord Allen."
