Kaito (19) is kneeling beside a small workbench, sparks flying from his mechanical arm as he adjusts the plating.
Each spark reflects in his amber eyes. The camera focuses on faint glowing runes etched into the metal.
Haruto (10) climbs up the ladder, carrying an old telescope.
He stops halfway, staring at the sky.
Haruto (quiet, almost scared):
"Kaito… the stars… are breaking."
Kaito smirks without looking up.
