*[The Constantine family, all in battle stance, face off against a feral, bloodlusted Modeus. His eyes glow, energy surging. One by one, her family members fall—burned, torn, or flung aside like paper.]*
*Mia (in dream, screaming):*
*"No! Stop!"*
*[Modeus turns to her, his face monstrous.]*

*[Mia jolts up, drenched in sweat, her breath heavy.]*

Ugh—crap. It's already midday.
*[She leaps out of bed, hastily washes up, throws on a clean outfit, lightly applies makeup, and storms toward the castle doors.]*

*[Just before she opens the great doors, her grandmother, cloaked in a velvet shawl, appears slowly from the side hallway.]*

*"Enar'ka, mia... yoren sa'vella tharna dur vel at'reen."*(*"Child, your mother has forbidden you from leaving the estate today."*)
*[Mia freezes mid-step, shoulders tensing. She doesn't turn around.]*

*"Tirven dakar shan? Rek talra, nor va'sen thros ven dorin."*
(*"Is she planning to keep me caged? This mission will slip away if I stay.")*
*Grandmother (stepping closer, voice soft):*

*[Mia turns slightly, eyes still frustrated.]*
