" T-Then why did you?" Emilia asked, looking curious.
The Wolf King turned silent before chuckling. " Simple... Because I wanted to frustrate him."
" Huh?!" Emilia almost tripped but she managed to steady her feet and continue the sprint.
" A-Are you saying that's the only reason?!" She stared wide eyed at the Wolf King.
" Of course? What more reason could I need?" She raised a brow.
Emilia sulked a bit, her head dropping low. The Wolf King glanced at her from the corner of her eyes, a light smile on her lips which vanished the next moment but her brows furrowed when she recalled what happened back then.
