Vegeta quickly caught up and asked, "Then… what about you, Ken?"
"Me?" Ken blinked.
"Are you going to keep being just a healer?" Vegeta asked. "Don't you want to become a Super Saiyan?"
"Nope," Ken replied bluntly.
Vegeta was speechless.
"With the way I am now, I'm afraid I can't become a Super Saiyan anymore," Ken shook his head.
"Is it because your power level isn't high enough?" Vegeta asked.
"Exactly," Ken nodded, then added, "But I might become a Super Saiyan God instead."
Vegeta: "..."
He was at a loss for words.
You're really something…
I can't keep up with you anymore.
"Hmph, then let's see which is stronger—Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan God!" Vegeta huffed.
Still a kid at heart. Even though his mindset had collapsed earlier, he quickly tossed aside the terrifying thought of Frieza's power.
"Is there even a comparison? 'Super Saiyan God' has one more word than 'Super Saiyan,' so of course it's stronger," Ken said with a smile.
"Who even compares like that?!" Vegeta snapped.
Ken ignored him and moved straight to the spaceship.
"But back to the point, how are we going to disable the ship's tracking system?" Vegeta asked. "If it's too tricky, we'll have to find a scientist who can locate and remove the tracker."
"Let me give it a try first," Ken said as he calmly raised his hand and placed it on the spaceship.
Slap!
A murky stream of Divine ki flowed from Ken's hand.
In an instant, the angelic energy covered the spaceship entirely.
"What? That so-called Divine ki of yours can destroy a spaceship's tracking system too?" Vegeta asked, stunned.
"It's done. Already destroyed," Ken nodded.
"That easy?!" Vegeta's eyes widened. He immediately flew over to Zadoria's spaceship, operated the control panel, and tried to locate his own ship's position.
Beep. Connection lost. Please try again…
That message popped up on the screen.
Vegeta's face froze slightly.
That's it? That's all it took?
Whoosh!
He zipped back to Ken's side and asked, "Did you study science and tech or something?"
"Let's go," Ken didn't answer.
In truth, he had simply used Divine ki to probe the ship and happened to locate the tracker. Once found, destroying it was trivial.
Ken had destroyed the tracker not out of fear of Frieza, but because he didn't want Frieza disturbing Namek at this point in time.
After all, Ken and Vegeta were about to head to Namek.
If Frieza found out about Ken's location, he'd definitely send people after him. A swarm of pests following him around would be a huge headache.
Right now, Ken's biggest weakness was clear:
He couldn't survive in outer space.
If he encountered an opponent like Frieza who wasn't in the mood to toy around and just destroyed the planet he was on, even with Divine ki, Ken wouldn't survive in the vacuum of space.
Sure, Divine ki could be converted into air, but how long would that last?
That's why Ken's current priority was to eliminate that shortcoming.
And he already had a solution in mind:
Use the Namekian Dragon Balls to wish for the ability to survive in space.
With the power of the Namekian dragon, this wish shouldn't be hard to grant.
Ken and Vegeta boarded the spaceship.
Whoosh!
The ship turned into a bright streak of light and quickly departed from the dusty yellow planet, flying into the vast expanse of space.
Namek, here we come!
…
Elsewhere in the galaxy.
On a certain planet.
Dodoria had effortlessly wiped out the two other Saiyans, sparing only Nappa and Raditz.
The two were trembling with fear.
After all, Dodoria's power level was a solid 23,000.
"Hmph, this is the consequence of acting on your own," Dodoria sneered, eyes narrowing as he stared at them.
Nappa and Raditz's faces twitched, cold sweat pouring down their foreheads.
"But Lord Frieza is merciful. As long as you two behave, he won't harm you," Dodoria said with a grin.
Neither of them responded.
"Stay in touch and be ready when called. Follow Lord Frieza's orders. Can you do that?" Dodoria asked with a smile.
Nappa and Raditz nodded vigorously.
"Good." Dodoria stepped forward.
The two of them trembled even harder, their legs practically giving out.
In the face of overwhelming power, they knew full well—even if they tried to run, they'd be hunted down and killed.
"All right, I'm leaving. You two take care," Dodoria said, then boarded his spaceship and flew off without making things any more difficult.
Once inside, Dodoria immediately attempted to contact his brother, Zadoria.
But there was no signal from Zadoria's end.
"What's going on?" Dodoria suddenly had a bad feeling.
Don't tell me… my brother's already been taken out?
Uneasiness grew in Dodoria's heart.
He quickly tapped several commands into the ship's control panel.
Beep!
Zadoria's ship location immediately appeared on-screen.
Then Dodoria searched for Ken's spaceship.
Beep. Connection lost. Please try again…
Dodoria froze slightly, his expression changing.
After a brief hesitation, he immediately contacted Frieza's command ship.
…
Onboard Frieza's ship.
Frieza sat in his hover pod, gazing out the window at Planet Vegeta—a glowing blue gem against the dark void.
From this angle, the planet looked quite a bit like Earth, shining like a sapphire.
"Lord Frieza, Dodoria has completed his mission and is now on his way back," Berryblue reported respectfully.
