Hello to the voice in my mind, my name is Jin. No last name. I am 4 years old.
It's been four years since I got reincarnated into this world.
It's— quite hard to digest all this information and to think that I was living in a world that is supposed to be fictional is mind numbing.
The way I died in my past life isn't necessary.
Let's talk about my situation first.
The 3rd shinobi war just started…Not good at all. My parents were both shinobi, my father was a Tokubetsu jonin specializing in weapons who later died in a mission and my mother, a chunin died of suicide after hearing that information. Pretty depressing, If I say so myself.
But fortunately, I had my uncle and aunt who were nice enough to raise me.
My uncle, Taji and my aunt, Yuki raised me wholeheartedly and teached me how to read and write. They were somewhat shocked when I mastered reading and writing pretty quickly.
Taji is a Tokubetsu jonin specializing in Fuinjutsu and had a side of job of being a blacksmith and crafting /making stuff.
My aunt is an Elite jonin, apparently her skill in weapon arts were so good that she got promoted to an elite jonin. Little bit of a Might guy type situation.
So, I am actually rolling in money, unlike my other reincarnated colleagues that you see on fanfiction.
Today is the day I am going to start my training--Okay that's a lie. My uncle and aunt didn't really comment on anything about training but today I am going to try and sense chakra.
A book that I got as inheritance mentioned that the best year to start using chakra without setting back your growth or anything detrimental happening is 4 years old.
I woke from my bed and stood in front of the mirror, in the reflection I saw a four year with chubby cheeks, brown hair and heterochromatic black and white colored eyes.
The time right now is 4:00 AM, I thought as I walked by the clock.
I freshened up, ate bread and eggs and went to the living room and sat in a meditative position on the sofa.
What I'm first going to do is pretty obvious, that is sense chakra and bring it out.
Goal number 1: Unlock chakra.
From what I understood at the basic books that my father gave and my knowledge of the other life is that chakra is the combination of two energies.
Spiritual and Physical energy. Spiritual energy symbolizes the mind and the soul and Physical energy symbolizes vitality of our body.
Both energies automatically combine to form Chakra. Chakra is the life force that keeps our bodies going.
I sat on the sofa with my back straight than I entered into meditation.
It took a few tries to be fully concentrated but my mind knew this was an important step to path of surviving and pushed on.
And there it was akin to a flame-like energy that was in my solar plexus.
It spread warmth to my whole body I tried to move it but I utterly failed, I was too hasty.
I inhaled deeply, 'Focus' I chanted in my mind.
'The book said to don't force the chakra to move. Make it flow, No idea what that is supposed to mean.'
After fiddling with it for a few times, it happened. I moved—no, guided bit of the chakra to my chest.
I slowly released my control over it and the chakra dissipated out of my body.
That was pretty good for a first try.
'Okay, that's enough for today that was exhausting as hell.' I ranted in my mind.
I woke up out of the meditational state and see that my whole body was covered in my sweat.
I grimaced at the mess I made, 'This going to be a bitch to clean up.'
I cleaned the mess that I made and went for a shower.
On the way, I saw the clock hanging on the wall. '7:00 PM'
Damn, it's 7 PM already. I guess I'll have dinner at uncle's place.
The freshening drizzle of water hit my body. I got out of my house and went to straight to uncle's house to hopefully to make them train me.
The fresh breeze of the night hit my body and I looked up saw a full moon and the stars accompanying it twinkled in the night sky.
Hey! Did I tell you how awesome my aunt's cooking is?
It is amazing, it gave me the first taste of heaven.
I ran at full speed to my uncle's place, dodging and weaving to avoid the crowds, I was eager to taste some good ass food today.
"Hey kid, watch where you're going!" A passerby scolded angrily.
"Sorry, sorry!" I said in a hurry.
I ran and ran, I still didn't feel tired. A side effect of unlocking chakra.
I remembered a line from the book teaching the basics about chakra.
'Every Living being has chakra, whether it is a human, animal or even an insect. When you become aware of the chakra, your body is boosted to another level. The chakra production increases and you'll feel qualitative change in your daily life.'
Chakra is an intriguing energy, I'll learn more about it as I become ninja. No need to fuss over it now.
I absent mindedly reached my uncle's home, as soon as I opened the door I caught a blur of blue.
Out came a woman with sky blue hair and eyes with an enchanting smile. She looked about 20-25 years old. She had a beauty mark next to her lips.
"Jin-kun, I heard about your father's and mother's death. Don't worry, I and your uncle are here for you!" She said as she was suffocating me in her cleavage.
"Aunt, I am not sad or anything, I--- got over my parent's death but it would be better if you're not suffocating me to death and making me meet my parents again." My voice sounded out muffled.
Her iron grip left me," I am so sorry, Jin-kun. I'll go prepare dinner now, Bye now!"
I sighed at my guardian, "She came and left like lightning."
A voice sounded out inside the house, "Obviously, she's an Elite jonin after all."
Of course, It was none another than the man who has conquered the gorilla bluenette's heart.
The man, the myth and legend himself--"Hello, uncle." I said with utmost respect.
He chuckled and replied, "No need to be so stiff, Jin-kun. Come and sit on the sofa with me."
"I am sorry for your parent's death? Are you taking it well?" he somberly said.
The mood just turned sad.
"I am taking it well, uncle. My parents would not want me to be stationary in life, doing nothing but grieving all day." I replied with a sad smile.
"It's good to see you happy but what are you going to do in the future." He said seriously.
His expression said it all—He was concerned about me and future.
As I was thinking about what my uncle said, a feminine voice interrupted.
"Dinner's ready! Both of you get over here!" she said with mock anger.
My uncle chuckled, "Come, we'll talk over dinner."
I nodded and followed him to the dining room.
