Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Is Su Hang Not Good Enough for Real Madrid?

Once again, Real Madrid fans erupted in applause.

They were celebrating Su Hang's "hat trick of yellow cards"!

"Fouling is the only way Sevilla can stop Su!"

"Su is truly a force! Why wasn't he promoted to the first team sooner?"

"Queiroz must be deliberately suppressing Su. He doesn't want Real Madrid's youth system to shine—he's always been eyeing Manchester United's striker, Van Nistelrooy!"

"I don't think Su is any worse than Van Nistelrooy! Su is only eighteen, while Van Nistelrooy is already twenty-eight!"

The fans were buzzing with discussions, clearly satisfied with Su Hang's performance.

Buying superstars is flashy, but developing your own is a different kind of pride.

And Su Hang had already shown that kind of potential.

His debut at the Bernabéu was just as impressive as the Alien Ronaldo's first appearance here.

...

**74th minute.**

Real Madrid led 3–1, but they weren't done. They kept attacking Sevilla's penalty area relentlessly.

Su Hang kept signaling for high balls into the six-yard box.

He had a chance to trigger his Aerial Dominance special effect in that zone.

But delivering a ball with the required precision from that range was a tough ask for his teammates.

Even Zidane tried twice but couldn't find the mark.

**75th minute.**

Salgado and Guti surged forward.

Salgado drove straight to the byline.

But the Sevilla defenders quickly stuck to him, denying Zidane the chance to overlap.

With the wing sealed off, Zidane looked to the center again and chipped it in.

The ball deflected off Castedo and floated toward the near side of the box.

Another high one, but not far enough.

Su Hang charged in.

Alfaro jumped up at the same time.

Su Hang didn't trigger "Aerial Dominance," but Alfaro already had a mental block about Su Hang's heading ability. He gave up on contesting the ball, choosing instead to disrupt Su Hang.

He positioned himself between Su Hang and the goal, leaving no space for a direct header.

**Bang!**

Su Hang headed the ball back.

Ronaldo's iconic ramen hair and his trademark back pass made their mark at once.

Salgado, charging along the baseline, had originally been offside. But since Su Hang's header came from a deeper position, Salgado was no longer offside.

The ball bounced, and Salgado pounced—**a volley!**

**Whoosh!**

The ball curved in from a tight angle and smashed into Sevilla's net.

"Salgado! What a beautiful strike from such a tight angle!"

"With footwork like that, are we sure Salgado's a right-back and not a winger?"

"4–1! Real Madrid has torn Sevilla apart!"

"And again, it's Su Hang causing chaos in the box! His head is like it's been blessed today—everything he touches works! He's not just scoring, he's assisting too!"

"I won't comment on the rest of his game, but in terms of headers, Su Hang is world class!"

"Real Madrid finally has a top-class header specialist! This completes the last missing piece in the squad!"

"Even though the Alien Ronaldo can do it all and the French king Zidane has had his share of legendary headers, neither are true aerial specialists."

"If Su Hang keeps playing like this, even if Ronaldo returns, there'll still be a place for Su Hang in this team!"

"Of course, that depends on whether he and Queiroz can resolve their issues."

"As it stands, Su Hang may be facing serious disciplinary action from Real Madrid after the match!"

...

**79th minute.**

Real Madrid made a substitution.

Youngster Mejía replaced Carlos—a like-for-like change.

**83rd minute.**

Another change—center-back Pavón came on for Beckham.

Real Madrid switched to a five-back formation.

Zidane dropped from wide midfield to central midfield—a clear sign they were tightening up defensively.

Real Madrid was seeing out the game.

...

**88th minute.**

Guti dribbled past a defender and pulled players toward him before passing laterally to Zidane.

Zidane looked to play a through ball to Su Hang—but Su was standing still, hands on his hips, in an offside position.

**He's done.**

**Out of gas.**

**Tired of playing.**

**Do whatever you want.**

**Bang!**

Zidane took the shot himself—firing from long range.

That one glance at Su Hang fooled Sevilla's defenders, who thought he was going to pass. They moved to cut off the passing lane.

But Zidane fired!

By the time Sevilla's defenders reacted, it was too late.

**Whoosh!**

Zidane scored a wonder goal.

"5–1! Unbelievable! One of Real Madrid's biggest wins this season!"

"A piercing strike from Zidane—his footwork as lethal as ever!"

"Sevilla players are protesting again—they say Su Hang was offside and gained an advantage."

"But the referee shakes his head. Su Hang didn't move, didn't obstruct the goalkeeper's view—he was far from the goal."

"Su Hang's positioning was even more 'by the book' than Raúl's earlier. If you disallow this one, you'd have to take back Su Hang's header too!"

...

**90th minute.**

Real Madrid subbed Borja in for Zidane.

The referee blew three times—game over.

He gave Sevilla no added time—a rare mercy.

Because honestly… if they'd played longer, Real Madrid might've scored again.

It was clear Su Hang could barely move anymore—too kind for his own good.

But isn't that the beauty of humanity?

Even Sevilla's players gave Su Hang a few grateful looks as they walked off, remembering his sportsmanship.

Could Su Hang really not move in the final ten minutes?

Come on, seriously?

Su Hang: Uh… well… fine. Think what you want.

...

Soon after, Su Hang was called over to receive the champagne for "Man of the Match."

At the same time, reporters swarmed in.

Each one had a question—Su Hang couldn't make out any of them.

But then he saw a familiar face in the crowd.

It was Clara Cecilia from *Marca*.

"Clara, you go ahead and ask." Su Hang wanted to repay her past kindness.

Clara beamed. "Su Hang, you had a conflict with Coach Queiroz during the match. Will you apologize for it?"

The entire media area fell silent.

Whoa.

We were just gonna ask how it felt to score—but she went straight for the kill?

Su Hang's never going to accept your interview again!

You're setting him up!

But Su Hang smiled.

**Clara gets me!**

Su Hang acted indignant. "As a top striker, getting subbed off when I'm in peak condition is a humiliation."

"I don't think Queiroz respects me, so he won't get my respect either."

"This isn't about Portillo—it's about Queiroz."

"So no, I will never apologize to Queiroz."

"**Never!**"

**Whoa!**

The crowd exploded!

Su Hang had just openly declared war on Queiroz!

For any team, a public clash between coach and player spells disaster.

And usually, the player gets the short end of the stick.

Looks like Su Hang... won't be staying at Real Madrid next season.
