Kisaragi Rin clicked on the details of Bonus 3.
Talent - 1 - Royal Aptitude: You are a natural-born user of Conqueror's Haki, appearing only once in millions. An unparalleled aura awakens in your Soul, announcing the arrival of a king to the surrounding world through your roar.
Note: Skills related to charisma and Deterrence can feed this Talent, allowing it to grow.
Talent - 2 - Voice of All Things: You are a favored Son of Destiny chosen by the world. The voices of all things converge upon your ears, allowing you to perceive and understand the sounds and consciousness of different types of creatures, even non-living things.
Note: Skills related to Perception and Destiny can feed this Talent, allowing it to grow.
Talent - 3 - Life Return: Your physical body has been kissed by great power. Fatigue and injuries are merely nourishment for becoming stronger; you only need to eat to regain vitality.
Note: Skills related to Martial Arts and Physique can feed this Talent, allowing it to grow.
"This really is the template for King Luffy, isn't it?"
"A full three Talent..."
"Conqueror's Haki, Listen to the Voice of All Things, and Life Return. However, judging by the Paradise's introduction, these three Talent must be stronger than Skills."
Kisaragi Rin thought for a moment. According to the description of [Talent - Singularity Eye], it can integrate all [Eye]-type Skills and awaken a greater power at a certain moment.
Then [Talent - Royal Aptitude], [Talent - Voice of All Things], and [Talent - Life Return] must also be able to reach higher realms through continuous feeding.
Of course, feeding a maximum-level Skill to a Talent does not mean the Skill will disappear immediately.
The benefit of a Skill is divided into two parts: one is the attribute bonus, and the other is the effect of the Skill itself.
When a Skill reaches maximum level, the attribute point benefits have already been completely absorbed and cannot be returned, while the Skill's own effects will naturally integrate directly into the Talent, becoming a part of it.
What Kisaragi Rin is currently pondering is whether he should take on the [Captain] Occupation.
Paradise is not child's play; the Occupations available to Players naturally have differences in status and quality.
As long as he takes the [Captain] Occupation, every time his Player level increases, he can obtain two Free Attribute Points, two Free Attribute Points that can only boost charisma, and two Free Attribute Points that can only boost Physique.
A total of six Free Attributes per level, plus three seemingly powerful Talent.
What about other Occupations?
After reaching Level 5, Kisaragi Rin naturally discussed this topic with Yukinoshita Yukino in the Fate World.
According to Yukinoshita Yukino, an Occupation that yields 5 Free Attributes per level and grants more than three Talent is considered a top-tier Occupation.
To give the simplest example.
[Occupation - Soldier] only grants two Free Attributes and one Free Attribute for Physique per level, and only one Talent can be awakened: [Well-Trained], which allows one to exploit their Martial Arts more proficiently.
Naturally, no one wants such a flimsy Occupation. Higher tiers of the same type include similar Occupations with vastly different levels of power, such as [Special Forces], [Military General], [War Commander], and [Five-Star General].
Based on the description, Kisaragi Rin felt that the Occupation book in his hand shouldn't be called a generic Occupation like [Captain]; a name like [Pirate King] would be more fitting.
However... considering certain aspects... calling it [Captain] seems fine too.
After all, the original source anime for "Pirate King" was suddenly changed to "Voyage King" for some unknown reason.
Putting aside the issue that the name isn't imposing enough, the effects of this Occupation book are already powerful enough.
The reason Kisaragi Rin was struggling with whether to use it was because he was wondering if there were any better Occupations.
After thinking it over, Kisaragi Rin decided to pull out his phone and call Shikanoko Noko.
Once the call ended and he had his answer, Kisaragi Rin took the scroll back into his hands.
[Are you sure you want to begin the process of taking the Occupation - Captain?]
[Note: This scroll is a one-time Item. Once used, it will Lock-on the user.]
[Yes/No]
"Yes, I confirm I will take the Captain Occupation."
Kisaragi Rin made his selection, and the wave patterns on the scroll lit up accordingly.
[Occupation - Captain]
[Bonus...]
[Occupation Requirements...]
[Current Occupation Completion: 1%]
Shikanoko Noko only mentioned one thing: the [Territory] integrated into the [Blessed Land] exists within it as a series of islands... This means that Occupations like [Captain], which involve vehicles, will have a great advantage there.
Seeing the 1% Occupation completion rate above, Kisaragi Rin felt no urgency.
He already had sufficiently [Excellent] crew members around him, and Kisaragi Rin already had some ideas for a sufficiently [Great] voyage, only waiting for Paradise to start the game.
The crew members listed in Occupation Requirement 2 are: Swordsman, Navigator, Cook, Sniper, Pet, Doctor, Historian, Singer, and Helmsman.
Kisaragi Rin is currently only missing the Navigator, Sniper, Historian, and Singer.
As well as a ship sufficient for him to complete his adventure.
The next game is still a while away, so Kisaragi Rin can handle these matters slowly. Right now, he needs to improve his strength.
Paradise Coins: 25027
First, his existing Skills.
Skill - Evil Gaze of the Abyss - Lv10
Description: Hey, don't randomly stare at the Abyss's anus!
Effect: Select one enemy to activate the Skill, and together project your gaze toward an Evil God.
Special Effects - Lv5 - Twin Eyes: You have two eyes, so you can now simultaneously select two enemies to project your gaze toward the Evil God.
Special Effects - Lv10 - Tail-Devourer: You have established contact with Tail-Devourer, an Evil God residing in an unknown world. He is currently interested in you. If you wish, you can contact Him again in certain worlds.
Bonus: Physique +1 per level.
Usage Requirement: There is an Evil God within the current world, or you can contact an Evil God outside of certain worlds.
There's nothing much to say about the Lv5 Special Effect [Twin Eyes]. Kisaragi Rin bought some materials to turn this single-target damage Skill into one that can hit two enemies simultaneously.
As for the Lv10 Special Effect [Tail-Devourer], its creation was due to Kisaragi Rin directly merging the Ability Seed [Tail-Devourer] dropped by Yuusuke into [Evil Gaze of the Abyss] as material.
Since activating [Evil Gaze of the Abyss] first requires establishing contact with an Evil God, and the usage requirement is difficult to meet in most worlds, Kisaragi Rin recalled the Evil God [Tail-Devourer] whom he had met once.
So he merged that Ability Seed.
Hmm... Yuusuke's Skill [Tail-Devourer] requires cannibalism, and Kisaragi Rin currently has no plans to "be a good person."
Other than merging it, there was nowhere else to use it, right?
Now, looking at the introduction on the Player Panel, that Evil God is actually interested in him?
"I'll send more people to pay their respects to you in the future."
Kisaragi Rin rested his face in his hand, suddenly realizing he had latched onto quite a few powerful figures recently.
