Uchiha Fujihai was truly terrified.
"It's impossible! How can you be unharmed? Is my Mangekyō Sharingan fake?"
Uchiha Fujihai muttered in disbelief.
Mo Yu raised the corner of his mouth, looking quite pleased.
"What are you laughing at!?"
Uchiha Fujihai roared in anger.
"Of course, I'm laughing at you, big fool. You gave me so much of your ocular power; otherwise, my Sharingan wouldn't have upgraded to the three-tomoe so quickly."
Uchiha Fujihai: "W-What do you mean?"
Mo Yu simply chuckled.
Without responding to his question, Mo Yu's Sharingan began spinning rapidly.
When it reached its maximum speed, a third tomoe split off from the two existing ones, and the rotation gradually slowed.
Mo Yu couldn't help but close his eyes, relishing the sensation of his Sharingan upgrading.
Uchiha Fujihai was dumbfounded, unable to comprehend how Mo Yu, after enduring so much torture in the Tsukuyomi space, could be completely unscathed and even have his strength improve.
"Break!"
Mo Yu suddenly opened his eyes and muttered under his breath.
A blast of mental energy shot out from his eyes and instantly shattered the Tsukuyomi space.
In a flash, Mo Yu's consciousness returned to his body.
Though he had been trapped in the Tsukuyomi space for what seemed like a long time, in the outside world, only an instant had passed.
"Plop!"
Uchiha Fujihai's body collapsed onto the ground, two streams of blood tears poured from his eyes, and his Mangekyō Sharingan reverted to a normal three-tomoe Sharingan.
"How could this happen? How did I lose? The books don't record it like this!" Uchiha Fujihai screamed in frustration.
He was utterly dejected. Originally, the awakening of his Mangekyō Sharingan had been a good thing, but now the effects of Tsukuyomi left him deeply disappointed.
Not only had he exhausted his ocular and mental energy, but his Mangekyō Sharingan seemed to be showing signs of deterioration.
"Tsukuyomi is the most powerful genjutsu in my clan. Why didn't it work on you? Why? Something must have gone wrong..."
"It's not that your eyes are weak; it's that I'm too strong."
Mo Yu walked over to Uchiha Fujihai and looked down at him, his voice cold.
Mo Yu hadn't expected that his Sharingan would be able to absorb his opponent's ocular power, and he didn't fully understand why this happened. However, he did have an uncertain suspicion deep down.
If it weren't for the mutation of his Sharingan, breaking free from Uchiha Fujihai's Tsukuyomi would have been difficult. He would probably have had to rely on the system for assistance.
Uchiha Fujihai looked up at Mo Yu, his eyes filled with both anger and despair.
"Just kill me, then. It wouldn't be so bad to die by the hands of my own kin."
Clearly, due to Mo Yu's Sharingan, he still regarded Mo Yu as a long-lost Uchiha.
A flash of light appeared in Mo Yu's eyes.
He had originally intended to kill Uchiha Fujihai, but now he had changed his mind.
Since the Uchiha clan had caused him so much trouble, why not have some "fun" with them?
"Do you want to live?" Mo Yu asked.
Uchiha Fujihai immediately blurted out, "Of course, I want to live!" But then his expression turned wary, "What are you planning?"
Mo Yu smiled. "It's easy to talk to smart people," he said. He paused before continuing, "In my eyes, there are only two kinds of people: enemies and allies."
"Enemies are meant to be killed, but allies—well, we can talk. So, do you want to be my enemy, or do you want to be an ally?"
Mo Yu bent down and patted Uchiha Fujihai's shoulder.
Uchiha Fujihai fell silent for a moment. "Please be clearer. I don't understand what you mean."
Mo Yu shook his head with a smile. "I just praised you for being smart, and now you're pretending to be confused."
"Alright, I'll speak plainly. I want you to be my mole in the Uchiha clan. Whenever I want, you will report all information about the Uchiha clan to me. Now, do you understand?"
Uchiha Fujihai immediately rejected. "That's impossible! I will never betray my clan! Just kill me now!"
Mo Yu stared into his eyes, his gaze cold.
"Do you think I'm easy to deal with? Do you really think I won't kill you?"
He pointed at Uchiha Fujihai's chest. "In your heart, does the clan really mean more than your own life? Once your life is gone, you'll have nothing left."
Uchiha Fujihai gritted his teeth, his expression conflicted.
Mo Yu continued to stoke the fire.
"Now that you've awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, once you return to the clan, you'll definitely be highly regarded. It won't be long before you become an elder and have real power. But if you die here, do you think anyone will remember you a few months from now? Your Mangekyō Sharingan will be useless and will die with you."
Mo Yu's words struck like a sword, piercing Uchiha Fujihai's heart.
"Yeah, if I die here, my pampered younger brother will probably be overjoyed. What about my father? Would he shed a tear for me? Haha, is it really worth dying for such a family?"
Uchiha Fujihai clenched his fists, the scales in his heart tipping towards the other side. "I've awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. Not only could I become an elder, but I might even have a shot at the position of clan leader! So I can't die here. My life is just beginning. I can't die yet!"
Uchiha Fujihai suddenly raised his head and looked at Mo Yu.
"Alright, I'll agree to your terms!"
"Hahahaha, good," Mo Yu laughed heartily.
Uchiha Fujihai then hesitated, "But, do you trust me this easily?"
Mo Yu responded, "Of course, I don't trust you."
"Then..."
"I'm just making a casual move. If you obey me, great; if you don't, it doesn't matter."
Uchiha Fujihai was left speechless.
Mo Yu added, "By the way, did you think I was hiding my strength all this time?"
Uchiha Fujihai: "Wasn't that the case?"
Mo Yu: "Of course not. In fact, I only started cultivating the day before I graduated from school."
"..."
Mo Yu's casual words felt like a heavy hammer striking Uchiha Fujihai's head. He couldn't help but exclaim:
"How is that possible!!! You went from an ordinary person to a Chūnin in less than two months? That's absolutely impossible!"
Seeing his astonishment, Mo Yu smiled slightly and said, "Nothing is impossible. There are many things in this world that can't be explained, like talent..."
And the spending system, Mo Yu added silently in his heart.
"You're lying to me," Uchiha Fujihai muttered.
Mo Yu rolled his eyes and said, "We don't even know each other well, so why would I lie to you? I'm telling you this not because I want to show off, but because I want to let you know that being under me won't be humiliating. You'll soon realize that the Uchiha clan is just a small birdcage. This world, in the end, is just a bigger birdcage."
Mo Yu looked up at the sky, his tone inexplicable.
"..."
Uchiha Fujihai didn't quite understand what Mo Yu meant, but he couldn't ignore what Mo Yu had just said.
Mo Yu said, "Let's take a step back. How many Chūnin do you know at my age?"
Uchiha Fujihai silently cursed in his heart: Wasn't he just pretending? Now he's really showing off!
To be fair, he had never heard of a 12-year-old Chūnin before.
Originally, he thought that Kiki Satsuki's talent was already terrifying, but compared to this, Mo Yu was even more frightening.
