Deep within the royal capital, where nobles and royalty live among the common folk, there lives three royal houses.
The Kira family, who specialize in law based magic, with their current head damnatio Kira with his scale magic, he deals in the criminal affairs of the kingdom.
The Silva family, known for their disdain for commoners and foreigners alike, they deal with international affairs, with the current head of the family Nozelle Silva at the helm all foreign affairs get handled smoothly, he is also the captain of the silver eagles, one of the magic knight squads.
And finally the vermillion family, they deal with diplomacy among the other kingdoms, with the current head of the family, the captain of the crimson lions, Fuegoleon Vermillion.
(I don't think they have ever shown the actual heads of their families, so I'm saying these people are current heads while their parents are retired.)
These three families are the backbone of the clover kingdom, and in the vermillion estate something is going on.
"Sister you dont need to leave!"(???)
"Shut it Mimosa! I don't want another damn suitor!" A girl with short red hair shouted towards her twin sister as she stomps down a corridor before standing in front of a heavy wooden door.
*crack* *boom!*
A loud sound was heard throughout the Vermillion estate as the door to Fuegoleon's study was kicked open as the girl stomped on in with a snarling face as fuegoleon himself, folded his reading glasses and sets down a report from his squad as he sighs, "you could have opened it normally Merleona." He said to his little sister, as Mimosa walks in, worry watched across her face as she tries to disarm the tension between her siblings to no avail.
"Another suitor?! Why can't these spoiled ass nobles learn?!" Merleona shrieked as her brother sighs once more before taking a sip of tea, he understood why Merleona and Mimosa didn't want an arranged marriages.
"Sister…" Mimosa said as Merleona takes a seat with her arms crossed, "seriously how aren't you mad about this Mimosa?! Don't you want to find someone like mom?!" Merleona asks as she points to a portrait of their mother, a respected commoner and a well respected magic knight who saved their father's life, but it was after they were born when a jealous noblewoman murdered her in cold blood just because she was a commoner.
(I wanted to give Merleona and mimosa a reason to fall for Alucard, so I figure maybe have history repeat itself for them both, with alucard saving them both from spade kingdom assassins)
"Sister I…" Mimosa began as Fuegoleon remembers the day he became the head of the family, it was when the twins mom died and their father became so depressed he gave all responsibilities to him, his oldest son.
"Merleona, Mimosa… I want to stop these suitors, really I do… but both your requirements for your perfect partner is…tough." Fuegoleon says as he open a drawer and reaches for the paper inside as he clears his throat before reading them allowed.
"Someone who isn't a royal or noble, doesn't discriminate based on class, and strong enough to take a punch, and that's only yours Merleona! As for Mimosa yours is at least doable, you just want someone who makes you feel safe, and gentle." He says as he places their requirement list back into his "memory" Drawer.
"Wha- I thought i destroyed that!!" Merleona says with a frown before remembering what she came here for originally, "Im heading out to the ultime volcano trail to train, I'll be back in a week." She tells her sibling as she turns around with her hands in her pockets.
And as she leaves Fuegoleon sighs deeply as he rubs his forehead, "she really is like your mother." He mutters to Mimosa as she stood there silently, wishing she was brave like her twin sister.
"Don't worry about your sister Mimosa, she is stronger than you'd think, if only she was more like you." Fuegoleon tell mimosa as he slowly stands up and walks over to the window where he sees Merleona taking a broom in the direction to the volcano trail, "if only your mother were still alive."
(Meanwhile at the halfway point to the volcano trail.)
It's been a few hours since Merleona was riding her broom to the ultime volcano trail, and she was remembering the story her brother told her about mother, how she was the only one to stand toe to toe with her father.
"Why can't I find someone like mother?" She mutters to herself as she wonders if she was stupid having those standards when she hears a voice nearby.
"Hey! Are you heading to the ultime volcano trail too?!"
I turn my head to my left as she sees a boy her age riding a giant red raven, he had a handsome face, with attire that reminded her of noblemen, his black cloak billowing in the wind, yet he didn't speak like a noble, he sounded like a commoner.
"I thought I was the only one crazy enought to train in a strong magic region!" The boy shouts as the raven moves closer as he pats a spot next to him, "hop on!" He offers as I take a closer look at him to see any malice or deceit before accepting his offer and after landing onto the bird's back and remove the broom between my legs and put it into my magic bag.
"So why are you going to the ultime magic region?" The boy asks, curiousity Lacing his voice as his raven speeds up.
"I needed a place to train and clear my head, You?" I tell the boy as he nods in understanding, "I can respect that, Im heading there to hone my fire magic better!" He tells me as I pause for a minute.
He's a fire mage? Then what is this raven?
"Oh I know that look, I should explain a bit more. I have a special constitution that allows me to use many different magical elements, it's just a CANT really control fire magic well enough, so I'm heading to the strong magic region to hone it." He explains as I try and understand what I just heard, he could use multiple magical elements? That should be impossible right? Right?!
"Uh-huh…well I'm Merleona Vermillion, whats your name?" I ask the boy who was getting more and more mysterious as he smiles, "my name is alucard Tepes."

I hope I captured the rotten side of nobles well enough, because I feel like the nobles of black clover are way darker than shown in the manga or anime, so I tried capturing that.
