"That black… thing."
Saitama appeared at the street corner at some point. It looked like he'd come out for an after-dinner walk to help digestion, still wearing that yellow suit. Watching Venom reach for the bus, he frowned slightly. "Smashing public property whenever you feel like it, and you're trying to eat people too? That's not good."
Venom's movement paused. It sensed some indescribable threat and turned its huge white eyes toward Saitama. Spider-Man also spotted him and shouted urgently, "Saitama! Be careful, it's dangerous!"
Saitama didn't bother responding. He took a step—and in an instant he was beside the bus, standing directly in front of Venom's giant claw. He lifted his right hand and casually grabbed Venom's wrist, which was thicker than Saitama's entire body and made of flowing symbiote matter.
Venom's strength was terrifying—enough to flip a tank with ease. But now, with that wrist seized by Saitama's ordinary-looking hand, it was like being locked in the most unbreakable shackle in the universe. No matter how Venom strained, it couldn't move forward even a single inch!
"Uh?" Venom let out a startled sound.
Then something even more shocking happened both to Venom and to Spider-Man watching from afar. Venom sensed the vast life energy inside Saitama, like a star blazing in the darkness—an irresistible temptation to a symbiote. But at the same time, it also felt something it couldn't understand, yet instinctively feared: a kind of "hollowness." The contradiction tangled together, driving the already chaotic symbiote into even deeper frenzy… and also triggering an intense urge to cling.
"A powerful… host!" Venom abandoned the bus. The wrist Saitama was holding liquefied instantly, turning into a black tide that surged up along Saitama's arm. At the same time, the rest of its body dissolved into flowing black liquid as well, crashing toward Saitama like a massive wave—trying to completely wrap up this bald man who radiated both delicious temptation and terrifying danger, to swallow him, fuse with him, and make him its own!
Spider-Man went pale. "No—Saitama! Break free! It's trying to bond with you!"
But Saitama was a beat slow. Or rather… he was curious what this black stuff was trying to do. In that moment of hesitation, the surging symbiote matter had already swallowed him whole, wrapping him into a constantly writhing black cocoon—its surface bulging with twisted outlines of fangs and eyeballs!
"HAHAHA! Perfect host! Such power!" Venom (the dominant consciousness) roared in excitement. It could feel the horrifying potential packed inside this body.
But that excitement lasted less than two seconds.
Inside the black cocoon, Saitama didn't feel any discomfort, and his mind wasn't being eroded at all. He only felt… like his entire body was pressed tightly by something thick and slimy. It was a little stuffy, and… unbelievably itchy. Especially under his arms and behind his neck—the sensation of countless tiny tendrils trying to drill into his skin and failing completely made him instinctively squirm.
"Ugh… so itchy."
Without thinking, Saitama tensed every muscle in his body, then suddenly shook outward with a violent jolt!
No light. No energy blast. Just pure physical vibration produced by the simplest function of a body.
HMMM—!
A deep muffled boom, like the air being forced aside.
The symbiote mass wrapping him was like a skintight suit stretched to its absolute limit, finally reaching some critical point as it
