"System, is she going to be okay?"
Saitama asked in his head. If she died after drinking it, that'd be a real hassle.
[Rest assured, Host. The target's constitution is fully capable of handling the Super Soldier Serum.]
"That's good."
Saitama yawned, looking utterly bored—a sight that, in Tatsumaki's eyes, couldn't be more infuriating.
"Stay with her. I'll bring the medical team right away."
Child Emperor hurried out of the lab. If Tatsumaki's sister died here, it would be no joke—S-Class Rank 2 was one of the Association's trump cards, and no one wanted to make an enemy of her.
The serum's cool, refreshing sensation slid down Blizzard's throat—strangely, it even tasted faintly of strawberries.
"Strawberry flavor?"
That thought had barely crossed her mind when the coolness turned into molten heat, igniting every cell in her body. Blazing energy erupted within, and her scream was one of pure agony.
The overwhelming pain shredded her consciousness, like every cell was being pulverized into dust. She felt as if she might explode right there.
Her high-slit cheongsam and white bolero burned away in an instant, and her short, light-blue hair floated in the air as if alive.
"Blizzard! Baldy, you're dead!"
Tatsumaki shouted, panic in her voice. For all her harshness toward her sister, she truly cared for her.
Her psychic power surged like a physical force, ready to crush Saitama in an instant if Blizzard was harmed.
But the pain vanished as quickly as it came.
In just a few seconds, a completely naked Blizzard fell from midair—her skin now flawless like jade, even her hair shimmering like crystal.
Before, she'd been a nine-out-of-ten beauty. Now, after the serum, she'd gone up yet another level.
Her azure eyes slowly opened as consciousness returned.
"Stop!"
A psychic force equal to Tatsumaki's erupted from her. In a flash, Hell Blizzard appeared in front of Saitama, raising one hand.
Bang!
Two immense psychic powers collided in midair and vanished.
"…"
Both sisters froze.
Impossible.
This "weakling" little sister had just blocked Tatsumaki's psychic attack. Her power wasn't even supposed to be a fraction of Tatsumaki's.
"So strong!"
Blizzard could feel the overflowing energy within her. The whole world seemed clearer, sharper—she could even see stray psychic energy floating in the air, something she'd never sensed before.
Her talent had evolved—by a massive margin! This was the Super Soldier Serum? It could actually stop that infuriating sister's attack so easily?
Her beautiful eyes lit up with joy. The years of frustration and suppression seemed to vanish, replaced with exhilarating freedom.
But—
Saitama stood awkwardly behind her.
"Uh… maybe put some clothes on?"
The honest man in him felt uncomfortable. He glanced around for something to give her, but the lab had nothing. Finally, he reluctantly took off his cape. "Use this for now?"
Tatsumaki: "…"
Her mind was in turmoil. Blizzard could now match her in psychic power? How was that possible? Could the serum really be as that baldy had claimed? But if it was so miraculous, why had he called it 'pretty weak'?
"T-thanks."
Realizing her state, Blizzard quickly pulled floating objects around to cover herself, her cheeks slightly flushed as she accepted Saitama's cape.
"Pretty amazing. Didn't expect it to work this well—should've sold it for more."
Saitama muttered.
Blizzard's forehead twitched—so much for any goodwill she'd been feeling toward him a moment ago.
"You didn't see anything just now, right?"
Tatsumaki floated over, face dark like a cornered wildcat, glaring at Saitama.
"Oh? You mean just now? I saw Blizzard's body. I think I saw all of it."
Saitama rubbed his chin, answering with complete honesty.
Blizzard tightened Saitama's cape around her, her heart pounding—but her exasperated, silent stare spoke volumes.
